Amazon is Run by Cowards
I have been a victim of an Amazon scam, and then a victim of the American site's worthless customer service (the Canadian customer service was pretty good). The scammers must have targeted my account because it is not eligible to post reviews, which is infuriating considering the shitty product I got as part of a brushing scam is MOSTLY fake reviews that somehow got verified. Because Amazon is run by Beezoos, the most cowardly coward of all, y'all on my Tumblr get to see my review of M35 BT 5.1 Wireless Earbuds. Beware the buds. You shall soon see why.
Note: I wrote this review in character as a good Christian wife (tm), and while I'm not not Christian, I'm deliberately aping the most insufferable kind of Christian alive. Good? Good.
We begin.
If I weren’t a believer in Christ, I would think that receiving a box of wireless headphones I didn’t pay for after loudly whining about wanting wireless earbuds to my dear husband was most serendipitous. However, as I am a believer in both Christ and logic, the fact that someone has sent me a box of wireless earbuds in a brushing scam has left me left with the sneaking suspicion that I have asked and received, but that the Lord protects me and not my data.
Thus there is no other choice than to write a review for these things. If my data is being used to help third-party scammers write fake reviews, then I have no choice but to do God’s work and write an honest review for these earbuds, as it will help keep the balance of paid reviews written with poor grammar and honest descriptions of actual products.
I opened the box of earbuds and immediately saw instructions written in a language I can’t read. This did not bode well. I flipped it over and saw a language I do read, which instructed me on how to charge the earbuds. I immediately dropped the charging case because I was not blessed with dexterity and because the plastic is very smooth and difficult to grip. It is the size and shape of a container of breath mints, and I anticipate popping one of these into my mouth by accident in the near future. It took me a few tries to insert the earbuds into the case, and that didn’t bode well either. The instructions weren’t exactly clear. Then I located the world’s shortest charging cord--it’s half the length of my short little 5'4 forearm and plugged it into my computer. While I was half-convinced it would upload some mysterious virus onto my computer, I am most disappointed that I won’t have the opportunity to clack at my keyboard like a movie hacker in an attempt to stop the virus. I’m assuming that the four dots indicate the level of charge to these things, and the final blue light couldn't quite figure out if the earbuds were adequately charged or not. In an effort to have this out post-haste, I decided to risk not having the full power of my earbuds. Full power = one hour. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. The lights on the minty fresh carrying case stay on for a few seconds after the things are pulled out, which seems like a colossal waste of battery for something that only holds an hour's worth of charge.
I attempted to connect the device to my laptop. It appears that my laptop is equally confused about how I came to be in possession of these earbuds because it couldn’t find them. I followed the instructions, which admittedly didn’t have very good grammar, and it still couldn’t find them. I heard “power off” in my ear so the things were on at some point. I had to put both back and then pop one out to see and start the discovery process over again. I’m not sure how they were powered off, as the instructions left no “remarks” (as they put it) on how to turn the earbuds on or off. When I stuck the other one in to evaluate the sound quality, it made a noise of protest, like it resented being out of the warm plastic cocoon and in my ear. I don’t like that. That’s an automatic star docked. I demand respect from my devices and tolerate no talk-back.
In truth, I resent this thing as much as it resents me.
It works. I can say that much. But the sound is tinny. I fear to see the sort of beastly ears these things are designed for because they do not fit in my good Christian ears at all. I suppose this is better for my ears long term, thank the Lord, but in the short term, I cannot hear my anime without cranking the volume on my laptop to the max, as the kids say. It sounds like I’m listening to someone watch Hunter x Hunter in the other room, and I want the sensual voice of Hisoka delivered right into my ear parts, so loud it’s like nothing else but Hisoka exists.
God forgive me, I am but a simple simp.
I disconnected the earbuds from my laptop and heard a voice, like from a garbled DVD rip of a foreign film, telling me I was disconnected. While I appreciated the notice, I couldn’t help but wonder why a robot from the seventies was shouting at me.
I did not have to restart the process of seeking the earbuds on my phone. It just took about seven minutes to do so. It then took two tries to pair them with my phone. Again, this did not bode well. But, I have never been one to acknowledge red flags, which is both how I met my ex-boyfriend and how I got banned from the local go-kart track. I made sure it was connected, though the name had changed from M35 to BTRAVE, like “betray”, and M35 had vanished just like the rum in that delightful pirate movie, and then I went to play the first YouTube video I saw. The earbuds had disconnected without the vintage robot telling me, and I was blasting book reviews for the entire house to hear, as my phone speakers work and these earbuds do not. In the spirit of second chances, just as Lord Jesus would do, I tried again. Once again, the robot voice of a bygone era graced my ears, and I went to Spotify instead. Well, wouldn’t you know it, but they had not connected either, and now everyone I live with knows that I enjoy emo music I should have grown out of ten years ago.
So, in short, the Lord works in mysterious ways and the devil grows ever more powerful. I asked and received diddly fricking squat. They worked with one device and not the other, thus making them slightly useless for taking calls as the poorly written instructions advertise. I have never felt such disappointment, not even when I grew out of my emo phase and realized that this is just my personality and all the adult contemporary in the world couldn’t change that. In short, I received this product for free, and it still isn’t worth what I paid for it. Sometimes, it really do be like that.
Praise be, and have a blessed day.

Oneus Twilight full comeback review
When I say full comeback review it’s because it’s a FULL comeback review. From the concept films to the Japanese verison, were gonna cover a lot so get a cup of something to drink cause this will be hella long aka Bible (I’m a nice person I’m telling you this beforehand).(You should do a Youtube video review then… nya… BORING)
So let’s begin. This is not the first time I follow a group comeback in real time… You know… Checking everyday the performances, so I kinda know how it works. We have gone through a lot of stuff… KARD You in Me, GFriend Fingertip, Red Velvet Peak a Boo, Dreamcacther as whole, BTS Fake Love, F(x) Dracula, BTS Wings album as a whole and last but far from least BTS Blood Sweat and Tears. I wouldn’t call some of them dark concept, I also wouldn’t call some of the sexy concept. By these examples you can see I have my standards pretty high. I’m that annoying perfectionist old uncle and declare myself guilty. For years Blood Sweat and Tears was the top song for me. (I’m a sane person ok… That doesn’t mean I listen to it 24/7). The MV had very beautiful aesthetics and I liked the lyrics and the song. Clothes were cool and the coreography too. F(x) Dracula would come in second and I never thought something could also join these two. Until… It happened. I knew RBW was releasing a new group but I just waited. Turns out I found out the group some months later then the actual debut. Oneus debuted with Valkyrie. The way they changed the coreography every stage, the amazing fashion sense, song was good quality. They had vocal thecnique, they had dancing it caught my attention and Valkyrie was straight to my playlist. Then… it happened. The group’s first comeback. I don’t know how, when or even who am I but I found out about the comeback EXACTLY AT THE RIGHT TIME (Technically not because I was 16 hours late). I know you know we know, we are not going retro like 80’s or 90’s. We are not going retro like acient Corea like BTS Idol. We are going retro 1500/1700 not Japan, not China, not Corea, EUROPE. Welcome to the renaissance. The MV was shot in Italy, the amazing fashion sense strikes again (I swear to God stylist min is communicating with me), the song, the lyrics, the coreography, the cool colored camera filters, I need to mention the vocal technique again, the rest of the album being consistently good (BingBing), I dare say nothing is perfect… But man… This gets 99,99% of what I call perfection. It’s a shame they didn’t win any music show… Because they are a newer group and still don’t have a large fandom? WHO CARES. Let me tell you something BTS sucess should have been in 2017 Wings… The high point of their artistity…  Ateez was also a newer group AND THEY DID WIN. I give congratulations to them but Oneus needed to win and it had to be with Twilight nothing changes my mind. (Don’t come to me saying we can give them their win next comeback, it won’t do it) This type of thing only happens once in a lifetime, why? Repeat and it gets boring, they can do the same concept again but it won’t be the same, same for BTS wings. It’s not about quantity is quality. Veiws never mattered to me and now I can say with all my mighty that wins do not make art. (I was never a fan of streaming but you count my ass off this mess cause YES I did some small streaming of the MV, I did my homework) (Take in account they did this comeback with BLOOD IN THEIR EYES) (Please give Dreamcather and KARD their first win too. Did you know that with You and I Dreamcatcher also had comeback with blood in their eyes??). Let’s start with the song name… Twilight. Remember 2009 movie sensation Twilight? Yup that’s it… I know you know we know, we are going deep in the vampire/ werewolf style in here and why I said I know you know we know? Xion posted about it on Twitter…
Tumblr media
THEY ARE AWARE therefore I know you know we know. JUST IMAGINE THEIR LIGHTSTICK AND FANDOM COLOR AND END OF YEAR PERFORMANCES. CHECK OUT ONEWE TOO.(I took the liberty of making a playlist with extra post promotion content (with English sub) - cause I know you all love content - linked below, you don’t need to thank me, not I’m not putting english girl, focus on Twilight)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTiTzw8HrCfxRiB1DyD77ktE9UQm6sBeQ
Just in case you haven’t watched this beautiful MV here it is.
youtube
Song, yes. Lyrics, yes, coreo yes, key point of coreo YES, Keonhee vocals YES (I trust this legend vocal thecnique more then I trust myself). Aesthetics? YES. Italy? I need to sneakly and illegally go there RIGHT NOW. This is a whole YES. ( Sir... If you think I haven't noticed the moon changed from previous album you are wrong cause I noticed. Sir are your albums going to complete the moon please say yes... Also... Have you noticed Woongie used the wet hair effect? + his brown eyeshadow is stunning.
Also line and center distribution is on the playlist for in deepth study... Twilight is basically Seoho eating up all the line AND center distribution and detail... the only thing he does is SING THE CHORUS. Also thanks Keone Madrid for making this coreo for Oneus (he also did BTS Blood Sweat and Tears -  DO YOU SEE THE PATTERN). Also rumors that Oneus actually created about 40-50% of the coreo so also thank you Oneus hehe.
Bitch it's me we are taking about do you really think I would miss a possible plotline?? Xion is with a red diamond and later he breaks it into dust (I'm scared). Keonhee is with a ring. Ravn is looking at his own reflection in the water and Seoho is looking at his own reflection through a broken mirror. Woongie is with a necklace. I guess the high point in Leedo's individual shots is the wolf (question mark)... Woongie and Keonhee are the only members that change the eye color. Seoho and Woongie are the only members that simulate super powers (question mark). Summary they all lost someone.... Silence is also a way of communication... I'm not a huge fan of theories or the fanfics I know ya'll write later in wattpad but fell yourself served, you're welcome, no need to thank me.
Now some highlights.
Tumblr media
Ok this goes straight up to the hall of iconic earnings… (Man... But his walk was so POWERFUL)
Tumblr media
How ASIA did not notice two SKULLS in here and how they are not SHOCK??? The ring is small… BUT POWERFUL.
Tumblr media
Question time, if they had money to do the CGI then why didn’t they erase this little hairs in Leedo’s eyebrow?????? We’ll never know...
MV behind (english sub cause I love you all ~~ plays english girl in reverse in the background ~~)
youtube
Humanity mystery here. They recorded a version of the coreography when the sun was actually falling down in real life and we see those scenes in the MV. But if the whole staff was SHOCK about the key part of the coreography being extremely perfect and beautiful then why not use it on the MV? Sure the version they used outdoors was pretty too but this was ALSO awesome and I think I need as many version of the MV as I can.
Album review
Tumblr media
Of course I would listen to the whole album.
Intro - What can I say... it fells so chill out, kinda minimalistic I just loved it. Twilight - Just amazing... I liked the dumbstep, the music is confusing witch I find extreamly cool. English Girl - Let em tell you not my type of song... but the lyrics are extreamly funny and relatable... so I forgive (I’m waiting crazy ho now Oneus, do not disappoint me) BingBing- YOU DON'T FREAKING START A SONG IN FRENCH IF NOT AIMING FOR TITTLE TRACK LEVEL. Ok and can we talk about the coreography???? BEAUTIFUL and I want to know the mastermind behind it. I just don't know why this was not above English Girl on the tracklist... White Night - Ok a more slow song but as always Oneus always delivers. (low key Red Thread sequel??) Now - This gives me Calvin Harris vibes. More dance eletronic standard pop but it's good...
PACKING-
Look... the CD case is very unique but think about it... if you take your album from above there is a risk everything wil fall... (1theK unboxing on the playlist, cause they were the cover for 1theK youtube chanel so 1thek is Oneus bitch)
Tumblr media
1theK Suit dance and Dance cover contest
youtube
youtube
Please give Seoho something that WILL NOT FALL FROM HIS SHOULDERS cause clothes are made to be comfortable. What is the point to take off the jackets when the night is COLDER??? (Wait.. let me answer that one… cause you can’t see black in black… I get it… BUT REGARDLESS) one of the mysteries we’ll never know. (Poor ties must have suffered a lot in the middle of the harnesses)
Now before we jump into the important stuff let me tell you a secret… Keonhee is the most difficult member to dress… why? He’s 1,81 cm tall… anything you give him to wear can make him look even taller and his face is more projected (did you know he uses braces?) so you really need to pay attention to his hair. We’ll use this information latter.
So the first performance ever was… Guess what… Before the MV was released and where? JAPAN (My half japanese ass is shaking). So people there kinda received a spoiler (clothes too) and Mnet uploaded it in the same day of the MV release so other people that weren’t at the kcon wouldn’t receive a spoiler. No complains here except Ravn chocker being TOO BIG and Keonhee clothes making him look taller. (Nice expensive microphones you got in here)
Tumblr media
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaxWHKRm9xo
Now the actual comeback in Corea begins. (Images cause tumblr won’t let me upload the videos) (I’ll upload the links below the image) (No… before you ask I’m not uploading english girl, too much work… focus on twilight) ( As I spoiled above English girl was the chosen B side. Look... I know it's us international fans unofficial anthem but c'mon... BING BING) (I know I'll miss camerawork in here but I'll eventually get the hang of it) (Don't ask me about make up cause unfortunately I don't have 4k 360° to get THAT close up. But from other close up photos I trust their make up artist)
WEEK 1
31/05/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/qe2p_nKZ7uo
First choice was the ACDC Black in Black 1.0 clothing set from the MV, Keonhee clothes making him look taller as usual… Pretty clothes but… YELLOW LIGHTS??? with red?? is this ketchup and mustard? The lighting did not appeal to me and shout out to the physics mystery.
Tumblr media
2:03 (Time stamp cause I love you all) HOW ON EARTH DID HIS EARPIECE END UP THERE? I guess we’ll never know.
01/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/adhuo5pMVbw
Keonhee clothes making him look taller as usual… but oh his hair was NICE… Fight me I’m the last person in the world to advocate in favor of coconut hair but it looks nice on him. No yellow lights so it’s a win situation, I like to call this the GLOVES set of the MV.
02/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/j7DhdicaV9I
Kudos for the physical scenario and Woongie earings (same as the MV). Keonhee clothes making him look taller as usual… no yellow lights… and this comeplete all the clothes they wore in the MV. Please… save Leedo from his chocker… too large.
04/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/Rl1f0vSxP14
THE SUITS a whole YES. Keonhee clothes were good but we got yellow in here and this is a NO, Woongie coconut hair was also a no but Seoho red highlights? YES. Also… Woongie… the harnesses should go UNDER the jacket not ABOVE it…
05/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/xmLNWuAyc9Q
Repeating clothes… but this doesn’t bother me. Ketchup and mustard lights is a no. Woongie earing yes and in case you haven’t noticed Seoho gold huge ass rings… blame the yellow lights. Keonhee hair was actually nice.
06/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/LcRe_SUL7Ok
Physical scenario yes, yellow lights no, clothing NO, Seoho huge ass rings YES. That’s the summary.
07/06/19 v1
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/hlrKa9b_P60
Uniforms? Approved, Leedo earing approved, Physical scenario approved. Orange? NO. Keonhee harmonizing with himself 1.0? YES
07/06/19 v2
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/3bI3GY4nALE
So… they blessed Japan with that set of clothes now it’s Corea time. Ketchup and mustard lights is a no. No earings or rings today… but  Keonhee harmonizing with himself 2.0? YES
08/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/0K1bhbuvYYU
You know what this SMELLS like? PERFECTION. Purple, black and red the holly trinity of colors. Keonhee clothes finally making justice to him, his hair was also nice. A LOT of light in the scenario to get THAT CLEAR LOOK cause I want to SEE things. Not a single yellow light… Woongie earings? YES. Please save Ravn from his chocker. Seoho dear… what is the point of wearing a black waistcoat… WITH A BLACK SHIRT? (But it’s approved regardless).
09/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/kf_C_GaCeGA
I present you Michael Jackson Black or White 1.0 clothing set. Woongie earing? YES. The light was a bit tricky. Chorus was beautifully black and white. We also had blue/green. In the red one we had yellow lights but it didn’t bother me at all. Overall it’s approved to me.
WEEK 2
11/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/eQcu7UH3354
They repeated clothes, but it didn’t bother me. Seoho rings? YES. No yellow lights. This is also super good and I can’t choose between the two times they wore this clothes.
12/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/DdI37HMWAJk
They repeated Michael Jackson Black or White 1.0 set. Ketchup and mustard? Purple? Lighting was a no. Seoho ring was a yes.
13/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/hBGhwPXRVec
New clothes yay. Keonhee hair and clothes were nice, I don’t know what to think about this set of clothes because I was never a fan of prints or this variations of cream and brown. The way the lights were positioned was tricky but the small amout of yellow lights didn’t bother me at all. No rings or earings today unfortunately.
14/06/19 v1
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/8jyzbTMMUgw
Clothes were repeated witch is a no. Do not think that instead of wearing silver or gold wearing black jewelry will make me forgive the clothes. No rings or earings today unfortunately. Ketchup and mustard lights is also a no. Keonhee clothes making him look taller as usual… This whole performance was a whole no.
14/06/19 v2
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/7fIFwRPK9tk
I present you Michael Jackson Black or White 2.0 set. IT’S HIGH END JEWELRY YOU WANT? IT’S HIGH END JEWELRY YOU’LL GET. Seoho rings (in both hands), Woongie earings, Keonhee double necklace, Leedo earings and TRIPLE necklace, do you know how powerful you have to be to use a triple necklace? The only things that killed it were the hand microphones and the yellow lights…
14/06/2019… I will never forget this day… How do they DARE to arrive at the recording… like THIS?
Tumblr media
and when it’s performance time they step down the clothing? Well the clothes they were using ARE pretty but the ones they arrived? STUNNING ( aka ACDC Black in Black 2.0). Stylist min there are occasions you need to save the outfit to use… just arriving at the recording with those clothes is a waste of fashion. It could easily replace one of the times you repeated clothes. (I may say make up and contact lenses were on point too)
15/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/4LticXTZC8U
(Thank you music core for the low definition)
Yay new clothes, the hairs and clothes look SO FLUFFY. Seoho rings yes, Woongie earings yes, Leedo rings YES, lighting was good, no complains here.
16/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/z1A7pgFJMVE
First of all I’m really mad because they cutted the song. Second I’m really mad because they didn’t upload on YouTube. It’s seems like this is was pre calculated beucase it was EXACTLY WHEN THEY CHANGED THE COREOGRAPHY. I don’t know if they changed because they knew the song would be cut or if it was really a coincidence… humanity mistery again. Lighting was so beautiful until they came with the yellow… Woongie hair was so fluffy and earings was a yes. Clothes were Michael Jackson Black or White 3.0 and that’s it… That day I learned my lesson… you either are team rings or team gloves… there is no in between.
WEEK 3
18/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/xGnQRWIejOc
They repeated Michael Jackson Black or White 2.0 set. Yellow lights? This is a no.
19/06/19
SKIPPED CAUSE WEEKLY IDOL

Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/uDQhH1X6SCk
I present you the new year eve set… Happy new year everyone, white and gold. From the same writers of black waistcoat with black shirt we have white waistcoat with white shirt. Ketchup and mustard lights? No. Seoho rings, YES. Woongie earing? YES. Shout out Ravn looks super good and Leedo chocker was middle term. Xion was not present and they had to do small changes (I SEE YOU SEOHO THANK YOU SIR)
21/06/19 V1
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/OOdS62gRMOg
Suits YES. Seoho rings, YES, we didn’t have earings… I’m sad. Ketchup and mustard lights? No.
21/06/19 V2
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/gU8cdpbEK0k

22/06/19
SKIPPED
23/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/dBDRVdC9ntQ
(I’m so sorry for the low definition here)
Same old story. I’m mad they cutted the song, didn’t upload on youtube and exactly when they changed the coreography. On the other side we have new clothes yay. It’s not only black and gold powerful match. It’s black and gold with snake print cause I’m a bad bitch. It’s the only place where they NEEDED to use the yellow lights and I’m actually mad they used black and white. Someone save Seoho from his chocker. Color scheme was great but it’s not like the clothes desing are bad. I just feel it could have been better. We didn’t have earings or rings today BUT HEY, FANSING, BING BING HAS A COREO AND ITS AWSOME. 23/06/19 will be in my heart (even though it was just a sneak peak).
4 WEEKS BICTHES
Ya’ll misbelievers will hear this song untill your ears BLEED
25/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/rg_x8oKwibs
Woongie you really fooled me here I was scared. He only did the fingerheart cause it was their last performace at that specific program. Repeating clothes… Lighting was good, no earings or rings… Well really tricky. I don’t see roots so you all did a touch up on the hairs and Woongie got a little bit blonder… I don’t like it, it don’t think the color suits him. Keonhee hair got a little darker but no problems… That’s it.
26/06/19
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/dMUSRroP1K0
Repeated the new year eve set. Seoho had to repeat the clothes for me to understand the clothes. Seoho ring yes, Woongie earing yes. Lighting was huge no, all crazy combinations like blue and yellow and purple and etc. But in the ending even though it was yellow the lighting was pretty.
Tumblr media
27/06/19 ~~FINALE~~
Tumblr media
https://youtu.be/TfEpkKwGQuA
We going Marilyn Monroe Woongie? His earings as always YES, Lithing... well… very tricky since we almost couldn’t see it but it didn’t look promissing. White and cream with black look more promissing then grey with black and red and purple… but not my favorite clothes, they have better weapons… Well… that’s it.
I wish they would go the whole week but they didn’t…
SUPRISE BITCH, YOU THINK 27/06/19 WAS OVER? THINK AGAIN
Oneus first photobook in Milano was announced. I won’t go into detail cause this is not the goal here... but we get it... YOU WEREN’T JOKING AROUND IN ITALY. Usually it takes a lot of time for a group to come up with a photobook so I’m proud and that was pretty smartass way to finish promotions if I may say...
Now… you have seen me against the yellow light for the whole post and you must be asking yourself WHY? Well… when you have the work to color correct the entire MV to cool colors YOU MUST AS WELL DO IT ON THE PERFORMANCES… that’s it… it’s called color pallet and you should respect it. Or in other cases like when they used black and gold respect the color palette of the specific performance.
Now let’s go to 05/07/19 Oneus is a newer group so I wasn’t even dreaming about this cause again... It takes a while for this to happened. My spider senses told me something was off when they announced they would be attending breakout in Japan and SURPRISE. Twilight japanese version was announced. Versions A/B/C and CD+DVD. Some questions were raised. There will be another version of the MV and new clothes? If yes I WANT SOMETHING ON THE SAME LEVEL. Will there be a instrumental version? Will they put Valkyrie japanese version too? They would all be answered later... AND MORE. They had the audacity to show BingBing complete coreo for the first time. They must really love Japan. Legends also say that they already performed the japanese version in this festival.
I was getting uneasy with the release date coming closer and no photos of the covers of the CD’s... then 25/07 they released a schedule... I wasn’t really expecting a schedule but I was happy cause next day we would have a teaser of the MV and surprise, it was basiclly the same thing. Good because is quality stuff but bad cause I was waiting somehing new... 29/07/19 We got tracklist and GUESS WHO WAS THERE?? EXACTLY, VALKYRIE JAPANESE VERSION +++++ TWO new songs.... We are blessed.. until 30/07/19 where we got what actually was happening...
Tumblr media
IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL LIMITED CD+DVD? It follows Raise US desing but I wanted something more... It fells like it’s missing something...
Tumblr media
Version A (Clearly Valkyrie) IT’S INSTRUMENTAL YOU WANT? IT’S INTRUMENTAL YOU’LL GET. But I’m sad... where are the other two new songs you may ask?
Tumblr media
Verson B OOONNEEEE of the new songs (ok we also have it’s instrumental too and cover is ok)
Tumblr media
Version C THE OTHER SONG (we have it’s instrumental too and I didn’t know people had silver skin...)
Do you see the strategy? Each version has one of the songs so you have to buy all the versions... And I didn’t like this...
07/08 The MV was released. They don’t have official youtube chanel so they uploaded in the company that represents them in japan.
youtube
The major changes were the individual shots as they had to sing in japanese. Nothing to complain in here, their pronunciation was good but the lyrics timing didn’t seem to match the song. Valkyrie had a better japanese version then Twilight... I loved the two new songs we got too.
(Bless the person who putted Korean and Japenese side to side, I saved the video on that huge playlist)
Also, can we appreciate how well Oneus and Twilight was received in Japan? They went to national television, topped Oricon AND Billboard Japan. Tower Records was EMPTY on the first day and they promoted for almost a whole month with shows. Japan basically adoped Oneus.
But nothing is flowers. It’s was extreamly difficult to buy this single online outside japan.LET ME TELL YOU. CD japan? Nothing, Amazon japan? Nothing, Yahoo Japan? Nothing. Rakuten? Nothing, YesAsia? NOTHING. THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND TO BUY THIS ONLINE IS TOWER RECORDS OFFICIAL WEBSITE WITCH GUESS WHAT IT IS IN JAPANESE. AND TO BUY OUTSIDE JAPAN YOU DON’T BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE. IT’S FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE WITCH TOWER RECORDS THEMSELFS PUTED THE LINK IN THOSE HUGE ASS BANNERS IN THEIR WEBSITE. Summary it was  literally giving birth to buy this online.
I tought I could rest BUT NOT. They would attend Soribada Music Awards... THEIR FIRST AWARD SHOW. Look I love Valkyrie... but I want Twilight to be performed and I WANT FASHION OK. I’m full of expetations, do not disappoint me Oneus. The day of the award show came and well... I was actually disappointed. Simple suits and the performance clothes? They repeated one of the worst weapons in their closets. C’mon... if you are going to repeat you have better choices IT’S NO EXCUSE... that’s the summary...
Well, from now I have covered everything... Don’t sleep in Keonhee vocals, Oneus has TWO MAIN VOCALS, appreciate Woongie vocals, that’s it.
If y’all want in my research I have build a really small database of Woongie earings in this comeback, maybe in the future I can do a compilation.
And that’s the end… if you got here congratulations you are a warrior and me too for the hours of links, print screens and editions… Byeee

Olivia Octavius x Reader
A/N: I got a lot of people telling me they’d read my Doc Ock fic so here it is! I hope you guys like it, I'm so sorry I made you guys wait so long. I got nervous about uploading it so I kept rereading and editing it, but here it is now! I didn't have any prompts for this fic so I came up with something on the spot, I hope its okay! If you want me to write more let me know!!! xxx
Ring...
Ring...
Ring...
“Hello there-! Just kidding. Olivia Octavius here and this is my voicemail. I’m probably super busy doing science-y stuff, or making out with my girlfriend, so leave a message and maybe I’ll call you back. Maybe I won’t.”
You groaned in frustration, hitting the end call button. Olivia promised she would be home in time for your date of Netflix and popcorn, there's a movie she's wanted to watch for awhile now and you suggested to watch it together. She excitedly agreed, but now she was going on three hours late. She hasn’t responded to any of your texts and calls and you’re getting really worried, but still you made a mental note to bring up the “making out with my girlfriend” part of her voicemail with her later.
Chewing your bottom lip nervously, you stood from the couch, leaving behind some unwatched Netflix movie and an empty bowl of popcorn you ate up over the course of the last three hours of waiting, deciding to go out and look for her. Maybe she fell asleep working again, or she stopped by the book store on her way home. She’s done it before, and spent hours picking out books and reading through them.
She’s going to be the death of you.
Just as you slipped on your shoes, you heard the door fling open, slamming against the wall with a loud BANG! and knocking down some photos in the process. You turned your head so fast it’s surprising you didn’t break your neck, and there you see your girlfriend. She’s a mess, dirt smudged all over her suit and on her cheeks, hair tangled, and her clothes torn. She’s somehow even missing a boot.
Standing up straight, you were preparing yourself to scold her, but she hurriedly ran past you and flung herself over and onto the couch, grabbing the remote and turning it to the news.
“Babe! Look! I’m on the evening news!”
Liv pointed at the TV excitedly, the biggest grin on her face. You glanced up noticing the headline: “Who is the Octopus Woman?” the poor quality cell phone video showed your girlfriend and Spider-man fighting it out in a crowded street. “Hah! That fight was a doozy. And, that kid.. Is fascinating. His powers are fascinating, he has some sort of spider-senses, so he could sense my moves. It was really hard to fight against him. I’m gonna be sore for weeks, babe.”
She finally looked up at you, wiggling her eyebrows. You sighed, and after a moment decided to laugh at the silly gesture instead of stay mad at her. You sat down next to your dorky girlfriend as she started to ramble on about her opponent and her fight against him. She slung her arm around your shoulders, and you couldn’t help but admire how adorable she is when she gets excited. Her eyes are so bright with excitement, her lopsided grin wide as she goes on. You’d ask her questions when you could, and she would respond eagerly. When the clip ended, they started discussing who they thought this “Octopus Woman” is, and Olivia would laugh loudly and correct their theories as if they could hear her. You just smiled and laughed along with her, snuggling into her chest as she leaned back onto the couch. She started to absentmindedly draw circles on your skin as she debated with the news hosts. Olivia froze in the middle of a sentence, turning to look at you.
“Um.. Why did you make popcorn?”
You raised an eyebrow at her. For a genius, she says some silly things sometimes.
“Well, my love, popcorn is a kind of snack food that people typically enjoy eating when they watch movies, or just because it’s delicious.”
She laughed nervously before responding.
“I mean.. I missed our date, didn’t I?”
She said quietly, and you nodded. She sighed, slipping her arm from around your shoulders as she sat up, pulling the tie from her hair, shaking it out as it fell down her back like a curtain.
“I’m sorry.”
Olivia said, looking back at you. You sat up, wrapping your arms around her waist and leaning your head against her shoulder.
“It’s okay, Liv. I know you’ll make it up to me, you always do. Plus you missed it for a pretty awesome reason.”
She turned in your grasp so she could properly look at you, her intense gaze would have put you off if you weren’t used to it by now.
“It’s not okay. Yeah, fighting Spider-man was pretty badass but I would have rather been here with you. I’m so sorry, you put up with so much. Me being late all the time, missing dates, staying up late working which results in me falling asleep at work. I do that a lot! I’m never there to-”
You shushed her guilty rambling. She’s right, she does fall asleep working a lot, but she is being dramatic. She hasn’t missed many dates, or stayed late at work for months.
“This is the first date you’ve missed in months.”
She looked at you for a moment, thinking about what to say.
“That doesn’t make it okay.”
She settled for grumbling that under her breath, pouting slightly. You don’t think you’ve ever seen someone try so hard to make themselves look guilty. You laughed.
“Liv, I accepted that you’d miss a few dates since the first night you fell asleep at work. When you became Spider-man’s most feared nemesis, ‘Octopus Woman’, I just accepted it even more. Accidents happen sometimes, sometimes we forget. It’s okay.”
You tried to keep the conversation lighthearted by teasing her with the name the media gave her. She smiled warmly at you, sighing. You could tell she gave up on trying to convince you she was guilty.
“You’re too forgiving.”
“What, do you want me to punish you?”
Now it was your turn to wiggle your eyebrows suggestively. Her jaw dropped slightly, shocked at your dirty comment, but after a moment she just laughed softly.
“I think I might love that actually. Switch things up a bit.”
She leaned in towards you as she spoke those words, placing her lips on your own in a soft, sweet kiss. After all the time you’ve been dating, every time she kisses you, or does something mushy and romantic, she still manages to turn you into a lovestruck teenager all over again. Every time, she manages to make your heart jump out of your chest and your stomach turn to jelly. You chuckled at her words before your eyes fluttered close, bringing up your hands to cup her cheeks as you returned the kiss. She hummed softly at your touch, your fingers caressing over the smudges of dirt from her fight.
You pulled back reluctantly and she pouted again. You scoffed at her dorkiness before tucking a stray lock of her frizzy brown hair behind her ear.
“My darling, I would absolutely love to take you up on that offer, but you’re a mess. What happened? Why are you so dirty?”
Her eyes lit up in realization as she felt the dirt on her cheeks.
“I forgot about that.. We fought a lot, eventually I got thrown into some mud.”
“Well next time you see Spider-man, tell him he’s gonna have to deal with me for dirtying up my girlfriend.”
She laughed manically, watching you as you stood from your stop on the couch.
“Now THAT would be terrifying, even for Spider-man.”
You returned her laugh, and held your hand out to her.
“C’mon, Doc Ock. You need a bath. A long, hot bath.”
Your girlfriend held your hand as she stood.
“Yeah. You’d be surprised over how much mud is actually on me right now.”

thenightetc11:22:08 PM You do have to make an account for it, but there's not a ton of setup, just setting a password and email address iirc
Knock Out11:23:08 PM I'll keep looking into it.
thenightetc11:23:19 PM Not like that other one where you were supposed to download software and all that nonsense.

Google My Business Optimization Tips for Roofers (Become A Lead Magnet!)
,60%. 60% of the leads that my clients receive come from the Google My Business listing. Alright, so it's extremely important that you understand how to use this tool because many of you have no clue. So let's dive right in.
[embed]https://youtu.be/yPcpq7EaJdw[/embed]
For the best advice on generating roofing leads online, be sure to subscribe to my channel, hit that notification bell, so that you get notified every single time I release a new video, just like this one each and every single Wednesday.
For those of you guys who don't know me, my name is Mats Moy, I am the owner and founder of Moy Consulting, a company that I created simply to help roofing companies generate online roofing leads.
So by the end of this video, I wanna share with you some optimization tips. Right, many of you have a Google My Business listing, however, it is not optimized whatsoever. And so by the end of this video, I'm gonna share with you some strategies that I use for all of my clients, to help them generate more roofing leads organically each and every single month.
Alright, so Google My Business optimization tips. I made a video similar to this one, months ago. So if you haven't already, check out this video so that you can find out how to pretty much just set up your Google My Business listing.
I don't wanna touch on anything that I've spoken about in this video here, however, there are many more optimizations that you can make to your Google My Business anyway.
So if you want to get a basic understanding on how to use your Google My Business listing, comment GMB down below and I will go ahead and send you my free guide so that you can download that Google My Business listing this has helped hundreds of roofing companies generate online roofing leads. Anywhere between one to three roofing leads a day once you really get going on this thing, so comment GMB down below, I'll send it over to you.
So as I said earlier, 60% of the leads my clients get come from their Google My Business listing. Now, this is extremely important because this is way overlooked. Right, many people try to focus on their website, trying to tweak this and change that. Where your website is nowhere near as powerful as your Google My Business listing. And so I wanna emphasize this.
Spend more time on Google My Business
I want you to spend more time, on your Google My Business listing, right? Download the app, start using it daily, right, treat it as as a social media platform for people who don't know you, right?
One of the big differences here is Google is getting your business listing out to customers who don't know you, whereas on Facebook, Instagram, any of those other platforms, those generally go out to people who follow you. And so they already know who you are they already know your service. Right, and so I would much rather you spend time on your Google My Business, because it goes out to people who don't know you, plus are actually in the market for a Roofing Service. So spend more of your time there.
This is, I guess the best analogy that I can give you here, in comparison to your website versus your Google My Business listing is let's say an iceberg. Right, like Titanic iceberg. We're talking about water, iceberg, where the tip of the iceberg is generally a very small portion of what you see, right, of what it actually is as far as lead generation. All right, and so forgive my poor analogy here, but bear with me, okay?
We have the tip. That's the tip that you see there, that's generally your website. Everything underneath Google My Business. Right, I wanna stress this because it's extremely important for you to understand that your Google My Business listing, is your most powerful asset.
There are so many things that you can do with it. The post feature, right, putting in your business hours, people don't even have to leave Google to call you. Right, the reviews that you get so powerful, right, call tracking, you can set up a call tracking phone number so you can see how many phone calls are coming from it. Right, the insights tool to see how many people found you through it.
There are so many things that people overlook with your Google My Business listing, most companies don't even have one. Right, so I don't even get it. But here I am telling you now you have no excuse. You need to set one up. All right, set one up.
Now one of the sections in your Google My Business listing, let's assume you've fully completed everything, right. This is like basic 101. Don't leave anything blank, right. This is Google My Business optimization 101, just fill out everything. Please put photos, put your business name, your hours of operation, days that your closed, holidays, description, all that good stuff, put all of it in, and make sure that it's filled up in its entirety.
Now, some more advanced stuff is there's a little section in the Info tab of your Google My Business listing, that allows you to describe your business. You have 750 characters available to you, which is an opportunity for you to write a compelling piece of content to get people to contact you.
Sneak in some keywords
On top of this, you can actually sneak some keywords in there. Like for those of you who don't know what keywords are, it's essentially a way for Google to determine, what your business is about based on some of the words that you have in there.
So, roofing, roof repair, roof replacement, those are different types of keywords, that you may or may not want to show up for. And so there are some of those keywords that you can actually sneak into that description section. You have 750 characters available, why not throw some in there.
So I have an example here for you, I've blurred out some of the sensitive information, I don't wanna reveal too much about this client here. But, residential roofing service, roof, roof needs, roof installation, repair, flat roofing, Metal Roofing, repairs, replacement, maintenance. Right, these are all keywords related to let's say the roofing service that this company here offers. And so do your own.
Now don't overdo it. Don't put a whole bunch of keywords in there that don't make any sense, let it flow naturally. Alright, nobody wants to read something that just doesn't sound like proper English. Right, so take your time, just fill it out naturally let it come out, and just try to put some keywords in there every now and then.
Send your reviews to your Google My Business listing
All right, another place for you to put keywords is in the reviews, right? Many of you, well, if you're not already, please for the love of God, do not send any of the reviews anywhere other than your Google My Business listing. This is your most powerful asset naturally. Do not send people to your HomeAdvisor page, your Thumbtack, your Angie's List, your Facebook, send them to Google.
Google will provide you with the highest quality leads that you can find. Right, right after referrals and word of mouth, Google comes in. Okay, so definitely send your reviews here.
When somebody leaves a review on your Google My Business listing, respond to it. I see a lot of companies that get reviews and never say thank you. Why won't you wanna appreciate your customers? Just say thank you. Right, and when you're saying that thank you, you can put in your own keywords in there.
So for example, let's say we have a homeowner who was ecstatic with the roof that they got. They're extremely happy to say, hey ABC roofing did an amazing job on our home, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You can come back and say, hey Nancy, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to come out and give you and perform or conduct this roof replacement in New York. That's a keyword right there.
Right, and don't think to yourself that Google can't pick up on these things. "It would be a pleasure for us to come out and conduct a roof estimate for any other roofing, anybody else that needs a roof." And I'm just making this up off the top of my head here, but you get the point. Okay, put the keywords in the response so that Google can detect some of these other keywords when you're responding to the reviews.
Add photos to your Google My Business listing
Another very simple optimization tip here is adding photos to your Google My Businesses listing. Right, people or companies listings with photos get, I believe 35% more clicks to their Google My Business listings rather than the companies that don't. So add them.
Right, and try to stay away from those stock images. They have become so common and I've been in this space for quite some time now, and I see the same stock images across the board from website to website.
If you can, please put in your own images. Those are so much better than the stock ones, and try to add really good ones, as opposed to some blurry photo pictures that you took like horizontally, that has like a black bars on the sides if you upload them. Stay away from that stuff.
Take a moment and really try to capture some really nice images of some roofs that you may have done in the past, right, you don't have to get a fancy camera, or a drone or anything like that, just use your smartphone. When you're at a job site, take good pictures that you can use, for your Google My Business listing.
Respond to reviews
Now I've already touched on this but responding to reviews. Whether they're good or bad, respond to them.
The good ones obviously they're much easier to respond to, you can go ahead and just write a good response and see how much you're grateful for their service, put some keywords in there, cool.
Now for the negative ones, now I don't know what it is about the roofing industry, but man, some of you guys have quite the tempering, okay? Do not lose your $#!+. Okay. Do not lose your $#!+, when responding to negative reviews, try to be as professional as possible.
There are tons and tons of haters out there. Some people will create fake reviews for you, but you need to show some class. Alright, respond to the reviews and address the issue. Give them an opportunity to reach out to you. Give them your phone number, a method of contact so that you can resolve whatever the issue was. At the end of the day in the eyes of the customer, they were right.
Assuming this is not a hater, a competitor trying to do some nonsense online to try to diminish your company, don't let that get to you. Just respond to it, show that you're very professional, and people will see that. Right, people will see the response and see the type of person that you are.
The absolute best way to get rid of or overcome negative reviews is to drown those out with a flurry of five-star reviews. Right, if you have 20 five star reviews and you have one person that gave you a one-star, most people can overlook that.
But when you have five, bad reviews and then one good one, then you're in trouble.
Your online reputation is everything. You wanna make sure that that is in good standing. People will see that and that will be a huge factor when it comes to determining who I should call.
Monitor insights
Next, we have monitoring insights. Be sure to take a look at your insights tab of your Google My Business listing. So here, we have an example of an insights tab, and what you ideally like to see is what you see here.
Mostly blue, a little bit of green. Right, this is what you call a very well-optimized Google My Business listing. It's getting almost 3000 searches in the last month, of people that are discovering the listing. These are people who don't know your company by name but typed in specific keywords related to roofing, to find your company.
This is the position that you wanna be in. This listing alone, I'll guesstimate they get maybe 60 to 100 leads every single month from their Google My Businesses listing. Right very, very powerful tool, that works for you. It's an asset. Right, this is a system that works for you.
And so, discovery here, customers who find your listing for a category, product or service. Right, they don't know who you're, what your business is, they don't know the name of your company, but they found you through, searching for a service that they were looking for. Versus direct, customers who found you by business name. Right, so these are guys who already know you. And that's a very small portion here, which is fine, but the majority of this should be all blue.
So take a look at your listing. Go to the Insights tab and take a look at it right after you do all these optimization tips. After you've downloaded my Google My Business guide and you start to implement some of the stuff. Check to see how it trends on a monthly basis to see if you're making the improvements.
Utilize the Posts feature
Lastly, you have the post feature. Right, if you haven't already downloaded the guide again, comment GMB down below, I'll send it to you. But everything that you need to know about the post feature is in there, do this daily, guys, once a day, every single day, so that you're able to really get good in the eyes of Google, even if you're not tech-savvy. Please do not use that as an excuse. I'm not good with computers, I do not care.
This is a tool that will bring you many, many leads. Okay, and so you can start using this and stop using the excuse that you're not tech-savvy, to generate leads that you will ultimately add to your bottom line.
Everybody wants leads, but most people wanna just, sub it out to somebody else to get from. This is your business, man. This is your business. And so you need to be able to do everything and anything in your power to generate more leads for your company. This being one of them, it takes you three minutes a day, you are the best person to do it. You know your company the best. And so you should be really the person doing this, on a day to day basis.
If you need help, you can add some of your team members to your Google My Business listing. Let them handle it. Right, but keep it in house. That's the most important thing.
Schedule a call with me
Now, everything that I've shared with you here in this video, it's all stuff that I teach in the training program that I have available for roofing contractors.

Genre : Science Fiction, music, wish fulfillment, parody
Episodes: 13
Studio: AIC, A.P.P.P.
Oji, I mean Gabriel, is not having fun! One minute he was a lean mean rock god at the night if his glory and then he blinked and it was all gone. Now he’s just another middle-aged salary man shlub working way too many hours at a boring desk job just to keep his modest lifestyle. His wife doesn’t get it. She’s throwing out his guitars to make room for appliances. His son doesn’t get it, all he cares about is his silly power rangers like show. His friends don’t get it, they’re all old suddenly. But deep down there’s a passion still burning in Gabriel’s soul and it might just save the galaxy.
When I saw this older series (1999 – whoa) pop up on Crunchyroll, I was intrigued how that title matched up to the unassuming man in a tie, obviously not enjoying whatever he was typing on a computer that as pictured on the thumbnail. I read up on the synopsis. A washed-up metal guitarist turned salaryman has to fight an interstellar battle through his rock! Sounded delightfully oddball. I had to give it a watch.
you don’t need to take notes…well, if you insist
I am a staunch defender of the quality of contemporary anime and the importance of visuals to the medium. So it might surprise you to hear that I really enjoyed the classic look of this show. Don’t get me wrong, it looks old, retro even. You get a super strong 80s vibe from everything (despite being released almost 2 decades later) that was so popular 2 years ago. (I like to pretend I actually know what the 80s looked like. I don’t. I’m assuming…)
I suppose the visuals didn’t bother me because they must have been fairly impressive at the time. The designs are old fashioned but good and realistic enough to not look stupid. An odd thing for what is essentially a parody. There are occasional stylish touches added to backgrounds or scenes edited to look like old school hair rock heavy metal videos, both of which added a lot of visual interest in my opinion. And the unpretentious voice acting only made the production more charming.
Don’t get me wrong. It shows its age. There is very little movement. Still shots and reused scenes are both very frequent and of course, the aspect ratio is the old 4:6 letterbox which made me have to play with me screenshot settings every time. None of this matters much until you get to the space battles. There, the repetitive imagery and lack of dynamic animation really brought down the action. But otherwise, the production fits the narrative well.
what more can you ask for
The tag line of The Legend of Black Heaven is “Hard rock save the space” isn’t that awesome! It’s not quite up to the glory of “all your bases are belong to us” but it’s in the same vein. And it fills me with joy. Weirdly enough there are a few scenes that take place in the US with English speaking characters and it’s maybe the best English I’ve ever heard in an anime. They could have just let that voice actor proofread the tag line. Or maybe it’s that way on purpose to which I would have to tip my hat!
That’s a bit of a running theme through the series. Either because I’m not familiar enough with classic space fighting anime or 80s metal bands but I was never really sure of what’s funny on purpose and what was funny just to me. In the end, it doesn’t matter all that much but I still felt like some things were getting lost in translation. Speaking of which, the Crunchyroll subtitles did explain the silly Japanese wordplay which I thought was a nice touch.
Generally speaking, the story is pretty much what you think it is. The official synopsis really sums it up well. And the characters are quite realistic if a bit one-note. Note…get it… Cause music. One thing I should say, it often looks like a middle-aged dude’s fantasy in anime form. Oji is bored and disillusioned with his run of the mill life, annoyed by the responsibilities of having a family and a full-time job. And he’s not particularly devoted to either. Then all a sudden he can save the world through his sweet guitar riffs. He is very selfish in this new endeavour, ignoring his wife, blowing off work and even putting his son’s life in danger in the process. And the consequences are, having beautiful women throwing themselves at him. Having his poor wife (he puts her through a lot) appreciate him more because he’s in a better mood, earning the admiration of his son and all those around him. It’s pretty funny in a way but also a little sad at times. Gabe/Oji is fun enough to watch but I couldn’t help but think that it must be awful to have to put up with a guy like him in real life.
I’m sorry
I should say that this show didn’t really speak much to my sensibilities. It purposefully chose themes and topics I just have no connection to. Moreover, there isn’t all that much to the story. The space fights and music scenes are all the same so it did get a bit boring and the middle drags at times. As such, the fact that I still had fun with it speaks to its quality and I’m glad to have watched it.
If you are into the retro vibe, old school heavy metal or old school space battles (although that’s a rather underused element) you might want to give the Legend of Black Heaven a try. If nothing else, you can live your midlife crisis vicariously through anime and get it out of the way. Efficient!
to be honest, I’m not sure which is which
Favourite character: Eriko
What this anime taught me: Your partner will probably forgive just about anything as long as you look cool doing it
A drunkard is like a whisky bottle, all neck and belly and no head
Suggested drink: Black Heaven (ooohhh yeeeaaahhh)
Every time we hear the word “dream” – take a sip
Every time Oji’s family ruins everything – roll your eyes
Every time ladies be gossipy – sigh
Every time the three stooges show up – raise your glass
Every time Oji has bedhead – take a sip
Every time there’s a concert flashback – light your lighter (don’t have one? take a sip then!)
Every time we see or hear about the “Flying V” – take a sip
Every time Oji’s wife gets mad – agree
Every time we see the guitar store – take a sip
Every time Yuki wears green lipstick – take a sip
Every time we see the food cart – get a snack!
Every time we see the city lights at night – take a sip
Every time Oji gets drunk – join him
I love Bones’ visuals. They really speak to me. So once again I uploaded a whole bunch of screencaps to Pinterest and Imgur.

How to optimize your videos for YouTube: Best-practice tips
So you’ve decided to add YouTube videos to your content repertoire. Great, why not?
Online users love videos. In fact, 4x as many customers would rather watch a video about a product than read about it. What’s more, YouTube is the king of video with more than one billion users. That means a lot of eyeballs.
Except, there’s a problem. Making videos is one thing, and getting people to find and watch them is another thing. If you’ve tried your hand at YouTube marketing, you’d quickly realize that it’s not that simple.
Like any other type of content, YouTube videos need to be optimized so that users can find them through search and within YouTube itself.
So how do you go about it?
First, understand that you can’t optimize a bad video
Even if people do watch, they would stop watching as soon as they started. And this will affect the overall performance of your channel in the long run. So before we dive into how to make your videos get found, let’s just take a moment to cover ground on what a great YouTube video looks like.
What makes a good video?
Great sound
Perhaps you’ve heard this before, but it still holds true. The sound of your video matters more than the video itself. Users can forgive a not-so-great picture quality, but they have little patience for poor sound.
In doubt?
Head over to YouTube now and peek at the comments. Although professional YouTubers make great videos, many of the videos uploaded to YouTube are crappy, and viewers vent their dissatisfaction via comments.
Keep in mind that these are users who have the time to spare comments. Most would simply click the back button and pick another video.
Great message/theme
Have a clear, helpful message. Video is still content and you’re producing it for a target audience.
Your message should resonate with that audience. Aim to hook your viewers within the first 15 seconds. Link-building expert Brian Dean recommends using the PPP method: Preview, Proof, Preview.
Preview: First, give the viewer a hint of what the video is all about as soon as the video starts.
Proof: Then, establish proof that you know what you’re talking about and can deliver on the topic.
Preview: Finally, reiterate what the video is about, this time adding a specific detail that the viewer will learn.
Clearly, this means that you have to plan your videos ahead of time and script what you want to say. Without a plan, you’ll not only waste time repeating shots, you may also come across as not being confident.
Outstanding visuals
In the end, visual quality matters. In addition to editing your video for background noise and other distortions, you should add great graphics too. These help to add variety between frames and make for more engagement.
Elements to optimize
YouTube search is a straightforward video search engine that mirrors that of Google. When optimizing YouTube videos, you’ll need to pay attention to these three important elements:
Identify your keyword
You probably already know that keywords are crucial to online visual content getting found, but the truth is, 9 out of 10 searchers make use of search engines when looking for something online, while the latter uses an algorithm that relies heavily on keywords.
Make sure your target keyword appears in the title to increase visibility. Also, sprinkle your keywords sparingly in both your meta and tags. This is your focus keyword or phrase. It is what the entire piece will be centered around.
Title
Experts advise that you spend as much time you spend creating the video on devising your headline. It is safe to say it is the most important piece of information in your entire content.
An average video with an eye-popping headline will lure huge amount of viewers, while the best content with a dull headline would struggle to get a few clicks. Simply put, your headline should be short (not more than 66 characters so that Google will display it easily), intriguing and compelling.
Meta
A full description is necessary to help viewers understand what the video is about. Just keep in mind that most people don’t read the descriptions; they are more interested in the video. Keep the descriptions short and succinct.
Tags
Although tags are not compulsory, they help YouTube associate your video with text. The tip here is to keep tags to a minimum and avoid irrelevant tags.
A short description and tags on a YouTube video
Other elements to look out for
Video thumbnail
Custom thumbnails that are consistent with your videos will help you create a memorable brand that your target audience can easily identify. To get custom thumbnails for your videos, your account needs to be verified.
Subtitles and Closed Captions (CC)
It has been suggested that closed captions can boost YouTube SEO. Discovery Digital Networks found an overall increase of 7.32% in views for captioned videos. Subtitles and closed captions also allow viewers to watch the video in various places such as a noisy or quiet environment.
Encourage user engagement and feedback
User interaction with videos is an important metric by which YouTube judges and ranks videos according to relevance and quality.
One metric is watch time, which YouTube defines as “the amount of time that a viewer has watched a video. This gives you a sense of what content viewers actually watch (as opposed to videos that they click on and then abandon).”
We have already mentioned engaging the viewer within the first 15 seconds, and keeping up the engagement throughout the duration of the video. Here are some other ways you can encourage user engagement with your video:
Add a Call to Action
Use a Call to Action (CTA) to encourage users to like, subscribe or comment on your videos.
Make use of YouTube cards
YouTube cards come in handy here. You can use channel cards to encourage your users to subscribe to your channel or like your video. Link cards can be used to send users to your website or other pages.
Add an end screen
Like cards, end screens can also be used to drive engagement with your channel. According to YouTube, “end screens are a part of the video that shows during the last 5-20 seconds of a video.
You can add up to four elements to promote your content, channel, and websites. Elements can expand to show more information on hover on desktop and on tap on mobile devices.”
Conclusion
YouTube is a great content channel. To make the most of it, videos should be optimized not only for search but also for users. And there are several elements to look out for when optimizing videos.
One thing to always remember is that to find the most effective method, you need to regularly A/B test to determine what works best for you.
