its so unfortunate to get an injury that results in chronic pain but in an unbelievably lame way. What do you mean my quality of life has been drastically and permanently affected just bc i opened my mouth a little bit too wide after getting my wisdom teeth out

#at least my ankle pain (less frquent than jaw) can be explained by a lifetime of field hockey injuries and an unfortunate backpacking trip #also when i read that depression is frequently associated w tmj pain that really clicked like my mental health as been nearly at an all time #low since the injury + i really think its not just like. the exhaustion of being in paim all the time but also knowing this is your life.#forever. im jusr upset bc i think i have a slipped disk in my jaw and i have to hold it steady almost every time i open my mouth #also i think my insurance company is trying to do a medical malpractice thing to the guy who did my wisdom teeth #but i actually dislocated in like. 6 hours after i left the office so..
