On a tranquil morning you decide to wander the enchanted forest next to the kingdom.  You've heard rumors of fairies that live in the forest, but no one has ever seen one.  You're in awe and wonder over how beautiful the forest is when suddenly you hear a squeaky voice.  You keep hearing it and scan the area when she suddenly appears in front of you.

"Hey!  Can't you hear me?  I'm talking to you," she says.

And with those....uh, questioning words, a new friendship begins.  Though only you can see her...

I did this drawing as a personal challenge to see how much detail I could put into it.  The reason for the eyes on her wings is that I was trying to mix a fairy and a butterfly together.  Some butterflies use big spots on their wings to look like eyes and ward off potential predators, so I decided to make the spots into actual eyes.
