So because records and cassette tapes are canonical in 98 and the manga, I’ve decided they’re still a popular form of media. Idk if original copies would exist just because Trigun is set like SUPER far in the future. But I headcanon Vash likes to check out old ships, shops, and buildings to try and find any physical music he can get his hands on. He probably keeps his larger collection with Luida and company but he always has a Walkman and a few cassettes on hand. He’s a huge music nerd and always begs his friends to listen to his funky ass 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s earth music.
