the way people view source separation as some black and white thing is really annoying but actually i have just now decided that i don’t wanna talk about that
#i just want to like point out that morals should not be ascribed to whether or not an introject source separates#sometimes source separation isn’t possible sometimes it’s too soon sometimes alters don’t want to. who cares#but like - take our dean for example#yeah he’s a supernatural introject - he kept his name - he can’t change what he looks like in the innerworld for the most part#but he’s also a very very different guy than his source#i mean he’s been around for like upwards of 10 years at this point#we view him as mostly source separated#but are we going to force him to pick a new name and a new face and stop engaging in his interests?#no that would be fucking retarded#half of the people who harp on source separation being necessary don’t even know what source separation means#forcing alters to source separate when they’re not ready is unhealthy and gatekeeping them out of system spaces and mocking them is straight#up just bullying to be honest#this isn’t some fun little cool kids club guys. we’re all fucking traumatized and mentally ill#some of you need to get the fuck over yourselves#/nbh
