#for? croissant backstory ig??

One thing I never mentioned during the liveblog that is mildy humerous in hindsight is that theres a tescos near my old flat, and i always liked to stop by there on my way home and get a croissant from the bakery section for lunch.

This means that, for a non-insignificant stretch of my playthrough, I was often times eating a croissant whilst playing the game.

The new update gives me a weird feeling

Like i dont think there was a reason for timekeeper to be a Legendary in my opinion, she is just Croissant but in the future(i dont like the costume either, it doesnt fit her character)

i rlly need a cookie run neg tag other than discourse i think but MOVING ON

i lowkey agree i feel like tk needed more backstory like frost queen nearly died and was brought back to life...timekeeper is jsut okd ig?? idrc for croissant or timekeeprs costumes i mean good for them but timekeepers doesnt scream ledgandary to me it screams super epic

i wish this update gives more tbd lore tho i mean im not playing it but ill watch a stroy video on yt

okay so it’s called Crown’s Castle of Chaos. Crown is the. host guy. he is a totally regular guy from somewhere definitely on earth who can control time space and matter because he’s just built different. he shows up to like 25 different people and yoinks em off to Montana to go compete is his cool object show. 

the Not Enough Lore part comes in here because there is. not enough characters developed (I have all 25 objects but. I am struggling with their personalities-) and I have only 1 and a half teams figured out. there’s the breakfast bunch with Water Bottle, Waffle Iron, Book, Criossant, Vacuum, and Bread. they’re a fairly regular team ig Book is a dumbass (affectionate) who tries to be the smart one but is. Not. Bottle just has to tolerate everyone being an idiot. vacuum is an idiot (affectionate). Croissant and Bread are frenimies. Waffle Iron. 

then there’s We’re Not Doing That Name, with Hairbrush, Hair dryer, Comb, Helicopter Seed, and two undecided. while coming up with team names Comb(?) suggested “Hair care” since. yes. and then when crown asked they shot that down so. WNDTN was born. their planned arc is that Seed gets used by fuckin uh. Hair Dryer because dryer can blow and fly with her but seed doesn’t like it cause they never ask her and she gets hurt so after awhile seed goes #girlboss and sabotages them and. probably commits a murder. what happens next is up to whether or not she gets voting immunity but no matter what happens i have plans hehehee

then there’s the only other majorly planned character, Spyglass. she’s pretty smart and likes messing around with stuff and she finds part of Crown’s old lab in the basement of the castle and discovers that. oh shit crown is. bad!.. not entirely sure how everything will play out exactly but she gets traumatized big time lmaoo. 

then uhhh the overabundance of Lore comes in part from Crown’s backstory basically he was a fucked up scientist dude from an advanced civilation that made these energy crystals for spaceflight and Crown was like. what if I used these to make people. Not Die. so he did but during testing it he killed like. several dozen people at least we love him for that. he gets caught though and flees to another universe where he can vibe in peace and then spends his time universe jumping doing object shows for perfectly reasonable reasons just for fun with no ulterior motives, isn’t that right spyglass?
