I can't stand granola types who ask for "vegan wool" (or "vegan leather") bc they want to maintain the aesthetics of being vegan. You're soo concerned about the animals that you're willing to fill their environment and food with microplastics. Because that's what your vegan alternative is: plastic

#for whatever reason a discussion on r cottagecore popped up on me feed #and it's for a granola girl wanting to know where to get a 'vegan wool' alternative to a cloak that was advertised to her #bc wool is sooooooo unethical and plastic is sooooo good in comparison. blech #I'll wear polyester in winter bc wool is hard to come by cheap but at least I take no moral high ground in it #I used to have a GuppyFriend laundry bag but it tore and I'm not sure it ever actually worked AND it was plastic as well #maybe I should start handwashing my polyester clothes? but man it's such a bitch having handwashed a sweater I just got #that i didn't realize was handwash only because of its wool and silk content #seeing as I have to hand wash two other articles of clothing I have I might as well handwash my synthetics since I'm getting a drying rack #anyway #ow my back (preemptive)
