they don't know that old school tumblr also had a sidebar
#for the record the Twitter knockoff thing is both stupid and hilarious#but I do actually miss the old dashboard layout#header bar with the inbox/settings/logout controls etc#but there was a sidebar on the right that linked to your posts/activity/drafts#and it also had your tracked tags so it was easier to keep up with those#that was back when search actually took you to the tagged page though lmao
