I heard my brother singing the song Billy!!!!!!! from Adventure Time and the song ends with "Also! He fought a bear!!!!!!!" And I'm?? Crying?? Because I immediately heard Hereward the Wake by the mechs bc it ends with the same lyric???? Adventure Time reference in The Mechanisms spotted????

#for the record YES the actual Hereward did either fight a bear or there were stories he did #idk him i just googled it #i think wikipedia said in the book he “defeated a caged polar bear in single combat” which is. a spectacular sentence.#but still they worded it the same as billy. they didn't sing it the same but they wrote it the same.#i will never recover #the mechanisms #tales to be told vol 2
