It took Billy a solid ten minutes to process what was being said through the recorded message on his dusty old phone.
He was not fluent in Spanish by any means, but he did speak Italian, and those two languages had a few common words and pronounciations....
"...viaggio verde?" He said to himself, his 'translation' leaving him more puzzled than before.
A green journey? Was this stranger trying to communicate to them they were going to travel somewhere green? Perhaps somewhere rich? Hence the 'green'? Were they trying to rub it in? How dare they! How awfully rude.
"Hmph." The old man frowned, completely unaware of the message's much simpler, actual meaning.
