my bf just told me the ideal art style for a premiere nebula animated series should be a mix of nostalgic shoujo in the face, hair, and costuming aspects but with more shonen influences in the body typing department, not for the reason you'd think, but instead so omega could be the first absolutely jacked magical girl lead

when asked for further clarification, he specifically stated that the magical girl genre needed its own mirko or korra (and i'll admit with the right art style, omega could fit into the muscular brown girl action heroine mold pretty easily)
