The older I get the more annoyed I get that I was made to feel so Other for having sensory issues when there are so many people who have something or another
#and it’s SO normal. like half the people I meet have some kind of sensory overload thing#the other day I walked into a club. paid a lot of money for it#and then it was SO fucking loud I could not stand it#and. no one commented on it no one even complained#the only comment I got later was someone going ���hey I’m going to turn on a blender and I’m just warning you because I know that#you don’t like loud noises’#and someone else promised to bring earplugs the next time we went to a club#and she also apologized the entire time I was in ther#which was not very long lol#WHY do people willingly give themselves hearing damage going to these things. why#and THEN. I have a thing where I Cannot get my hands dirty or else I have to wash them immediately or else I will not be functional cause#I won’t be able to think about anything else#and my friend has the exact same thing#my other friend kinda has the opposite thing where she has to constantly have lotion on her hands#I’ve Tried.it makes me want to die with how greasy it is#just. wish I could go back to time to 6 year old me and tell her she’s not a freak#for not liking the horrible elementary schools bands booming ugly bass#I got dragged out of more than one assembly#or just walked out if they started ignoring me
