#veeeery sick of the 'hey you selfish assholes if you don't vote everything that happens is your fault' essays i keep getting on my dash.#yeah it's important. but like. the cool thing is. you can't get in someone's face and tell them how stupid and shitty they are#and then expect them to... be on your side. like. you have already alienated them.#you can be angry or whatever. but pages-long rants about 'if you do x y or z it's YOUR fault that we'll be in HELL' are like so wild.#when most of the ppl ive seen saying they don't want to vote are in fact. the people who would be impacted most#bc they have very good personal reasons.#every day im seeing ppl replying to black ppl disabled ppl palestinian ppl??? and telling them how shitty they are#for not being stoked abt this election???#huh???????
