It would be much quicker than making them wait for the bus, and he finds himself excited at the prospect of seeing both Bram and Aya even though it isn’t in his schedule for the day. He and Bram have been unofficially sharing custody of Aya, but recently, the three of them have been spending more time together as a group rather than just he or Bram looking after Aya alone.
