No more heroes fandom I deeply love and respect you, but holy shit stop watering down henry to being an ‘mcu fan’, when really he just so happened to watch thor ragnarok, a film that talks about loss and realising part of your life was built on lies.
Things that happen in that film, include but aren’t limited to:
• thor and loki finding out about their ‘secret sibling’ hela in the worst way possible
• thor losing his ‘powers’ + hulk persona taking over bruce banner for an extensive amount of time
• Brunnhilde trying to recover from her trauma of seeing her entire battalion of valkyries get slaughtered by Hela + being the only survivor of said traumatic event
• the revelation that Asgard committed atrocities against other realms to gain riches - and many have committed other colonial/imperial exploits.
• not to mention that Loki, a son of a frost giant, was taken as a child by Odin and raised as his own son and wasn’t told of his real heritage until much later (HMMMM SOUNDS FAMILIAR… I wonder what that reminds me of /sarcasm)
It just so happens to be a coincidence that said film Henry was watching just happened to reawaken some deeply traumatic scars that Henry thought he had repressed.
