I have to be real with you right now... I feel a little afraid, lol! I've heard various opinions: "Do your first playthrough completely blind and just take whatever outcome you get" vs "If you know you'll be bothered by certain outcomes, then look up how to avoid/get them."
Knowing myself as I do, I'm going for the second one. However, I'm not planning on doing a super rigid type of playthrough where you use a guide for every step and decision. But there are a few things I definitely want to avoid for my first proper introduction to the OG Mass Effect. 😬
I'm also not worried about achievements at this point. I just want to play the whole thing through and come out on the other side feeling happy that I took the ride, you know?
Strangely enough, I'd always planned on playing first as Fem!Shep but now I'm leaning towards Male!Shep. I dunno why, it just feels like the right choice to me. 🤷♀️
Anyway, wish me luck, friends, I'm going in!
