They're back on the grid. Head of Porsche Motorsport, Thomas Laudenbach, recently announced the arrival of Porsche into the scene of Formula 1, marking their first constructor appearance since 1964. WHO IS AVA FLORENCE AND WHAT TO EXPECT?

AVA FLORENCE'S surprise signing with Porsche's new Formula 1 team has sent shockwaves through the motorsport world. The 19-year-old Belgian-Japanese driver is set to become the first full-time female F1 driver since Giovanna Amati in 1992. �� BORN IN SPA, Belgium, to a Belgian father and Japanese mother, Florence was exposed to motorsport from an early age. Growing up in the shadow of the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit, she began karting at the age of six. Florence quickly made a name for herself in the Belgian and European karting scenes, claiming multiple national titles and finishing runner-up in the CIK-FIA European Karting Championship in 2019. People are still complaining about Max snitching on Lando (like no other driver would do the same thing come on). Lando was very clearly gaining on Max so why wouldn’t he say something.

Also I’ve seen takes that Max needs to chill out because he already won the championship so it shouldn’t matter if he gets a penalty and loses pole or sees Lando speeding up. I’m sorry but isn’t the point of a race to win?? Winning the championship already has no effect on that…

Lmao Lando snitched on Lewis when Lewis wasn’t even his fucking race. They all snitch on each other. And to be fair, they do all get a certain amount of hate for it. It’s just wild that no one notices the hypocrisy.

If Max is going to “chill out” once he’s won he may as well skip every race after he wins the championship. Because what the fuck is the point of living on a plane, living in the dark for weeks, the jet lag, being away from your friends and family and your home, to come and drive around in circles, do media obligations, go to debriefs…if you’re just going to chill out? It’s a gruelling schedule to go through to then not even try. In fact that would be low-key a pathetic way to go about things and indicative of the fact that you have nothing else going on in your life, if you have nothing better to do than come to a race weekend and purposely not give it everything.

But there’s a reason Max is a 4x WDC and these people are at home on Twitter - because they don’t get it

..."It happened last week, when Tuberville tied himself up in knots by expressing support for the Alabama Supreme Court’s decision that frozen embryos are children while simultaneously opposing the effects of the ruling.

And it happened again on Tuesday, when he made a sarcastic post on X, formerly Twitter, directed at President Joe Biden that also attacked what Tuberville claimed were dangerously high homicide rates in New York City.

The Alabama Republican probably felt pretty good after the post, since he managed to attack Biden, big cities in blue states and migrants in one go ― a conservative trifecta, to be sure.

There was just one problem: Tuberville had his facts wrong. In response to Tuberville’s post, Kyle Whitmire, a columnist for AL.com, pointed out that the Big Apple’s homicide rates are actually lower than Alabama’s on a per capita basis.

Like, way lower.

However, statistically Alabama's crime rate per capita is almost 4X higher than New York's...:NYC’s homicide rate is 4.8 per 100k. Alabama’s homicide rate is 15.9 per 100k — more than three times that of NYC.
