hello!!! monthly recs just dropped, and BOY have i read some good ones this november. you can check out this months 911 rec list on the tag, and check back at the end of december for next month's! this is the first time i've actually done these as a formatted, planned thing, but i've given out some rec lists before. this month we've got mostly larry, but a little ziam sprinkled in there, even some qpr zouis!

Oof, I’m way too weak to pick one Tomlinshaw as a favorite. Top contenders incl. London Rain by writcraft, The Next Bit Was Spanners To My Plan by LadyAJ_13 (lots of their fics could make this list, tbh), The Million Reasons Why by reminiscingintherain, The One Where . . . series by checkthemargins, and Brighter This Time by jiksa.

The author alison has some great poly and voyeurism smut. Won’t You Jingle My Bells by grimouis is good holiday 3-some smut. 😇 I recently stumbled across (it has basically no tags and no description) A Light, A Shiny Gold by vashtanerados and really liked it - a thoughtful fic, with a moment of deep kindness and understanding at the end that made me cry. A new pwp Louis/omc is Bet On It by nouies— the omc is Louis’ boyfriend who’s also concert security and it’s 🔥. There’s an ongoing poly series, For My Lovers, with Louis/Harry/omc by kikiberoski16 that’s good; the omc is a strong character and not just an afterthought. And there’s a couple Greg James ones I really like: Always Keep You Next To Me by lululawrence and Getting A Head For Heights by LadyAJ_13. (Sorry this is so self-indulgently long 😞). I’d love to hear your recommendations!

I did start the Bet On It series a while back and looooooved it (it was so timely!) but I forgot to check for new chapters... I will do so! Love their Louis/footballer series too (which seems to be completed now :/) I will def check out the holiday smut - 'tis the season after all!

If you also want something on that theme, Smile Again by mistresscurvy is a lilo fake relationship that takes place during Christmas and it's really cute! Love The New Posh and Becks by that author too (love a good football au!)

The 2 fics that I re-read all the time are Let's Break the Internet, some excellent OMC smut... very unfortunately it's an orphan account so I have no idea who wrote it and can't tell them how I adoooore this one. The other one is To reach a port we must set sail by thedeathchamber.... Henry Cavill and Italy... what else???

I've probably mentioned those in my previous fic recs but A Tear in the Sky by zanni_scaramouche which is a story about a cult, omegaverse, Niall's POV and not smut/love story.

I have opened and bookmarked SO many fics that I have then abandonned because honestly there's SO much. At some point I was reading only stuff under 10K. Recently I switched to IWTV fics, they have some excellent authors too and I feel slightly less weird reading fanfic based on a work of fiction. But I'm always grateful for some good recs :)

Let’s see, I said Christmas shopping has been a lot, I love Ted Lasso. Their football matches are as stressful as real one lol. I used to be a big 1d fan up until they broke up and then deleted every trace of them from my social media, very dramatic for my younger self lol. Loved zouis (and larry lol) I was upset I made it a point to not listen to their solo work and then so much time had passed that I forgot about everything. I used to be a Louis girl tho and over the years seeing all the things he’s gone through has been heartbreaking. Recently with Liam’s passing I got very nostalgic and I spent a good month listening to all their albums. It felt very nice.

the pandemic made me VERY bad, I almost died and it wasn't even going to be covid (a funny fact if it wasn't sad) the only thing that kept me going was Harry and Louis because they brought me back

I think is a 4 or 6... It depends a lot, I have already suffered a lot this year, so for sure I beat about 3 easily, but now my life is good so I can say that we are in a 6/7

well, I am Brazilian and in my mind everyone should be friends and arrange to have a beer. I make friends very fast and I like to talk about everything and whenever I want to gossip I am the best person, and I like to stay quiet in my corner, I have my own time, it's not that I am boring but I have many internal problems and I think I am disturbing people.

Louis is slowly falling in love with Zayn, but is unable to face the truth, too scared of the jeopardizing their friendship. They've been close friends ever since Louis' family moved into town a year ago and he joined his High School's football team, not only because he was an excellent player, but because the team's captain caught his eyes the moment he saw him in the cafeteria. At first, Louis and Zayn started hanging out everyday after practice, and soon they were spending most of their week-ends together, doing homework, running and playing video games. Louis doesn't know how Zayn will react if he ever finds the courage to confess his feeling. It wouldn't be like Zayn to reject him - he knows the boy is soft and loving, deep down - but Louis is afraid it would shift their dynamics forever.

On prom night, Zayn is crowned Prom King. Louis worries about losing his friend as they're about to go to different colleges. He's already heartbroken - knowing their lives will go on different paths and he will probably never get to express his feelings for Zayn - at least not before it's too late. Overwhelmed by his emotions - and maybe also by the spiked punch that he's been drinking all night in those famous plastic red cups - Louis decides to go outside to get some fresh air.

He's lost in his head, leaned against the brick wall, and doesn't know how much time passes before Zayn finds him. Louis has to catch his breath for a second, looking at how beautiful the man he's secretly in love is in a dark, fitted suit, with a white rose pined to his chest. Zayn's eyes are sparkling and his smile is wide when he elbows Louis, asking him why he's hiding from everyone. Louis doesn't know what to say, so he decides to go with the first banality that he can think of: "congratulations on becoming Prom King, mate".

Zayn leans against the wall, so close to Louis that their shoulders are touching. Louis shivers. Looking in front of him, Zayn shrugs and exhales loudly before saying, in a deep voice, "thanks mate but I don't really care about all that." Louis turns to look at Zayn, lost for a second in the beauty of his profile. "What do you mean?" he finally asks, afraid of the silence. Zayn takes a second before turning his face to look right into Louis' eyes. Louis is mesmerized by the darkness of Zayn's pupils and the shadows of his eyelashes on his cheeks.

"Wish there could be two prom kings", Zayn finally says, barely audible, his eyes fixated on Louis' lips.
