So true! I'm so thankful the Lord did not give up on me. He was (and still is) so patient with me. Prior to Christ, my life was miserable and meaningless. Once I gave Him a real chance, my life changed. Now that I am on this side of the equation and fully committed, I cannot imagine life without Him. It is only by having a daily relationship with Him (by praying and reading the Bible) that He showed me my true purpose and mission in life. My life is sooo much better with Him than without Him. It doesn't mean I don't have trials, it's just different because now I know what's going on behind the scenes. Today's #Sabbath sermon was an amazing blessing and timely reminder. The Pastor started off the sermon by saying "Do not take what a pastor says as the Gospel Truth." He encouraged us to be like the #Bereans and go home and verify what the pastor said was indeed what the Bible says, and if it didn't hold to Isaiah 8:20, then discard that person, including him. Happy Sabbath family! Let us remember HOW to keep the Sabbath hours holy. Let us remember that our speech, which first develops as a thought, can either glorify God or satan. On Sabbath, the Lord tells us not to speak our own self-centered thoughts as this does not bring glory to Him on ANY day but especially so on the Sabbath. In the #Indian culture there is a #caste system where people at a higher level will not mingle with people at a lower caste level. Being in a certain caste does not matter to God; He loves everyone equally. He created all of us. Remember the children's song, "red and yellow, black and white, ALL are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world." John 15:12 KJV says "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." If we are true Bible believing and PRACTICING Christians, we are commanded to love each other, without regard to rank, nationality, or skin color.
