its a little funny seeing people be like "oh but what if i write a duel in my fanfiction wrong or dont follow the rules of the game and someone notices?" because duel monsters in the manga might as well be a different game from yugioh tgc, like they do not follow the same rules and those rules are changing constantly as you read

at the part im currently reading, seto is just straight up killing off cards in yami's hand just because he designed a disk that says its okay to do that. just making house rules and saying that yami HAS to do it this way because he agreed to play with him, so just do whatever sounds cool and fun to you and if someone has a problem with it in the comments than tell them to take it up with the duel system in the manga
