You’ve probably answered this, and I apologize if you have. You don’t have to answer, either.

If you haven’t read any of Dreadnaught’s work on AOC you’re missing out. There’s this masterpiece:

I will say, the author doesn’t have happy endings. They’re extremely bittersweet. Also, the latter makes me cry in the fetal position for HOURS, but apparently I’m a masochist, because I’ve reread it several times. You don’t need prior knowledge of the Marvel Universe. I don’t.

I digress. I feel as though you might appreciate those pieces, and was wondering if you had any specific works that changed you? Do you have anything that you go back to?

Also, I’m sure you’re swamped and I take no offense to any response you may or may not have. You’re my favorite author, and your work is one of the biggest highlights in my life right now.

Unfortunately this contains a lot of things I not only don't like, but actively find squicky, from the pairing to the ending.

ETA: I didn't look at the second link because the first wasn't my speed but the second literally has Major Character Death as a warning which is the only warning I exclude from every single fic search and I suspect a few of you are in the same boat, so proceed with serious caution. So happy this author is doing well and so glad that their fics aren't anywhere near me and this is the closest they've ever gotten dslfkjas
