I'm trying my hardest to finish these I promise lol. But shit has been hectic this week especially considering the US political climate here in my state. So maybe this will help to get my mind off things. Here's hoping, right?

🌹- Norah enjoyed Valentine's Day a lot Pre-War. She has always been a pretty girl so she had a few admirers who would send her cards before her marriage to Nate. After the War, Valentine's Day has all but fallen out of practice. Instead, the date is celebrated as Nick's "birthday" and she doesn't mind that at all. She's been confessed to a few times before her marriage and has confessed only twice herself to two people: Nate her former husband and Hancock.

🙈- She tries very hard to keep her anger away from those she cares about. Like previously stated, she bottles her feelings up until she can no longer stand it

🙊- She will not tolerate bigotry. She outright refuses to shut up about the treatment of sentient Ghouls, especially.

🙉- "He was your fault"

🌱- A vivid childhood memory involved her on a swing in a brand new dress with no shoes before leaping off and running towards her father for a big hug

🍀- Norah does believe in luck, but not much. She considers herself both lucky and unlucky

🌎- She has done this beforehand for her former husband, Nate. It was a fairly easy decision for her then because of how women were treated and viewed then. But she is able to make a choice afterwards in her relationship with Hancock. She ultimately chooses him.

🌌- Fallout 4 had an extensive character creation screen, but I found the personality presented in game to be lackluster compared to other RPGs. So I just expanded on what I was given. The first thing I decided about my Sole was that I wanted her to have grey eyes. I loved the description of Arwen in the LOTR books along with the description of her relationship with Aragorn and I just took off from there.

So Jacqueline  ‘Jax’ McArthur is tbh actually my main FO4 PC and yeah they’re actually not a Sole, I describe them as a mechanic or like whatever the closest equivalent to one it’s more about the vibes you know?

And they hang around in the universe of my friend @daraasum​‘s SoleSu Clara as they meet her fairly shortly after the events of the game kick off and generally you know help Clara with getting used to the various shades of what the fuck that the Commonwealth brings and they become pretty good friends as time goes on, and then of course that means Jax meets Nick and then Jax falls for Nick because you know who WOULDN’T fall for Mr. Nick Valentine.

 Develops a sort of ‘the little brother i never wanted’ relationship with Mac. (Jax isn’t that much older than Mac, being 25 but it’s the vibes you know)

Hancock is technically Jax’s uncle of a sort which both of them have some very complicated feelings on as Hancock knew Jax’s mother, Nancy some time back and yeah it does throw Hancock for a bit of a loop. Part of that being the ‘oh crap should i technically try and be responsible for you or something?’

 And Jax looks enough like her mother that Hancock basically worked it out on sight.  Jax’s biological father (Patrick) actually comes from Far Harbour they haven’t got a very strong relationship owing on account of them not really seeing each other very often but it’s cordial enough (And I did have this whole thing planned where they do meet during the events of Far Harbour) Jax was raised by her mother and her two partners Bonnie and Mary and her ‘Ghoulmother’ and I think sort of grew up as part of a commune type set up.

And yeah that’s just about everything I can remember about Jax at this given moment. Fun fact i actually created her as an oc before making her in game and her in cane appearance is basically what I'm drawn

It’s insanely frustrating and strange to play FO4 as a SoleSu that didn’t actually want kids. Bcos you can’t advance the story without taking main quest steps that rely on you caring about Shaun. Which I very much do not.

(my only long-term companions were two robots and that stupid perfect dog, and i don't even like codsworth he's just loyal. didn't get to meet the rest before my game died. a shame)

I apologize for taking so long again, lovelies. Here's some more info on my SoleSu Norah

💐- Norah's favorite flowers before the Bombs were roses, specifically pink ones. Now her favorites are the Hubflower and Asters. A bouquet for her would consist of azleas for temperence, asphodel for regrets, red mums for love, white mums for loss, and coltsfoot for justice

🌙 - Her greatest wish would be a vacation from General duties or just a day off. She wouldn't push for it because she has an annoying habit of not refusing to help people (often to her own detriment) and this tends to build some resentment

🌋- Norah's temper simmers a lot like a pot of soup. She's very experienced when it comes to bottling feelings up, but when she blows, hoo brother you better be prepared. Her anger can be as devastating as a Mutant on Psycho

��- Norah has no allergies to speak of

🍁 - Her favorite season is early winter. It's not too cold, frost is pretty to look at, and it gives her a feeling of peace, like the world is asleep.

🍃 - Norah used to enjoy nature before it grew to three sizes too big and got more murderous. She does love the plant life growing on buildings and things like that, but the wildlife being huge and weirdly aggressive takes getting used to. She likes camping out in the wooded areas near Pearson's Asylum. The woods are peaceful again since the Raiders hecked off

☀️ - Norah is not a morning person. No. She hates mornings with a white hot intensity. They do not respect the hangover and only Preston and Danse seem to enjoy them. She prefers Preston's morning routine to Danse's though. Her routine consists of her grumbling, bumping into things, pulling clothes on, and swearing at her Pip-Boy.
