Mods themselves have been taking longer to come out. Stuff like Ourple Guy V3 and Graffiti Groovin' V2 took a year to make (and then needed extra hotfixes because they were released too soon), and Mario's Madness V2, what is currently seen as one of the BEST mods in the fanbase atm, took 2 years!

This of all things should be the fandom that knows game development takes time, and yet so many people have ZERO fuckin patience. It's annoying.

The case with mods is especially annoying because the fandom has decided to use mods as a substitute while ignoring the fact that mods are PASSION PROJECTS above anything else

Again something I mentioned in my FNF video essay but it’s kind of concerning how so many people are putting this pressure on mod creators when the FNF devs at least are like. Adults with a budget. Most mod teams are comprised of random ass fans (some of whom are MINORS BTW) who all have their own irl shit going on and aren’t getting any compensation
