Now besides having to wait for the rest of the characters to be developed for Custom Night (and besides what we know already), there’s only ONE other thing I’m worried about:

Quick question. what is your opinion of the marionettes backstory in the the final FNAF game Freddy Fazbear's Pizza simulation including the little Funtime Freddy helper?

Short synopsis…?

Super happy that we finally got answers regarding the Puppet and who he/she really is. Truth be told the theory of the first victim being the Puppet was the one I held onto the most, and I’m glad it was proven right. Also liked the twist that it turned out to be Henry’s daughter, of all things.

My general, overall opinion…?

So what do you think of Springtrap's redesign? I've seen people love it more then the original and people who think it's an insult and he had no reason to be redesigned. I wanna know your stance on it

-just, ya know, a new SHADE of ugly.

Truth be told I’m half-n-half on the whole thing. On one hand: ya gotta figure there’d be heavy damage towards Springtrap. He was trapped. In Fazbear’s Fright. While it was on fire. So I’m glad the redesign reflects this. He’s missing pieces of the springlock suit, his arm’s missing, and the skull’s more exposed and showing some brain-matter too, which is SUPER GROSS.

Furthermore I think Scott was trying to make Afton’s skull more anatomically-correct, which I can semi-see it.

…ooooon the other hand: from an artistic stand point I do prefer how he originally looked in FNAF 3. Springtrap kinda just…looked creepier. Between the way the eyes looked and the not-so-accurate skull–ya know what let’s be honest here: the remains of William Afton’s corpse in a 30-yr-old suit never made sense. So the idea of trying to make it more anatomically-correct now, with the end results…? Ehhh there could’ve been improvements. Especially the head; it came out bigger than it originally was.

There’s also the possibility that during the time between Sister Location and developing this “pizza simulator”, something must’ve happened to Springtrap’s original model and Scott had to rework stuff. Any choices he made behind the scenes are all up to him, after all. I really can’t judge; he’s a better 3D model artist than I’ll ever be.

Thooooough if I could say one thing - perhaps a mix of the two would’ve been better? Here’s a REALLY GOOD EXAMPLE of what I mean.

So in short: I’m in the middle. The redesign could’ve been done better, but it doesn’t bother me either. Because no matter how he looks - Springtrap’s still the same rotten trash heap that I wanna hit with a metal baseball bat. :U
