fmdtask10: Top 3 plots.
Most of the connections Noah has with people are rather superficial. To him, people are disposable after all. These are a few of the bonds that he would struggle to let go of.
Tumblr media
01. Childhood friend.
Noah does not like talking about his youth, and you know why. Staying in one place for even a year was a rarity due to his parents’ careers. You two still managed to become friends though, either somewhere in Europe, or during his summer breaks spent in Seoul. With you he shared his frustrations with his parents, longing to stability, and eventual journey to become a trainee. Maybe you were the one who inspired him, as you wanted to become and idol/actor? Or did his pursuit of his desires inspire you to do the same? How the relationship is today is up to us. Fame changed Noah for sure, but maybe he tries to do better for your sake?
02. Comfort (Requirement: Senior, in age or experience.)
When Origin fell short of expectations at debut, or their first comeback, you attempted to comfort Noah despite being strangers. To your surprise, or not, he confessed that he preferred being more low-key. Thus, when Origin had their breakthrough in 2015, you were the subject to his long rants and frustration about the sudden high pressure and expectations. When the focus on overseas markets got started, you got to listen to another rant about how much Noah hates traveling and being outside of Asia. None of you ever shared being friends with the public. Noah even stated that this is something that he wants to be just his yours, as so much of his life is shared with his fans. Are you laughing at him now, or jealous? Still trying to comfort him? I would prefer this to a positive relationship, but I’m open to ideas.
03. Companion
Noah is all about skinship and fanservice. You are the same, or just alright with reaping the benefits of being close to a member of Origin. Fans always hype up events where the two of you will be appearing. You are a fan-favorite “ship”, and perhaps even friends in private. In public you are close friends that don’t get to hang out much outside of work due to conflicting schedules. You have been talking about joining forces for solo work as well, perhaps minor roles in a drama, a collab, or appearing on a variety show. It all depends on if your personal interests match up, but Noah is willing to step out of his preferred type of work to continue your narrative. Even though he says he doesn’t care about you, you may suspect he is lying.

re-debut: it might not have been a big deal to some. ( especially if you consider how their career went. ) but it was a wonderful thing for kami. before she joined her company, she honestly thought that she wouldn't debut or become a singer at all. in fact, she had very much given up on the idea and started to shape her future elsewhere. then a chance audition and she made it in. she had become a trainee again, debuting was still uncertain but it felt like she was getting back to what she loved. and even though she wasn't happy with their debut, the fact that she had a second chance wasn't something she took lightly. she cried later on that day, once she made sure she was in private.
solo debut: an obvious choice was her solo debut. yeah, she did manage to snag a portal release but having her own solo album? nothing could compare. it was also the entire process of their solo debut that got to her. the fact that she was apart of creating the sound, the dance and the concept. at this point, kami wasn't sure if the company was going to support it and they surprised her by doing so. yeah, touch didn't get the results she wanted ( not that she expected anything different. ) but it did mark the first step of something she had been dreaming about for years.
solo concert: this was another mark in her career, her first solo concert. even more amazing that she was the first member in her group to have one, as well as one of the first female idols from a group to have one. standing on stage, she really realized that she had reached a milestone like so quickly. it's still not something she can really wrap her head around and it's only made her even more eager to have another one.
hit the stage: a sort of a bitter-sweet memory for her. it was a chance for kami to show off her dance skills outside of gal.actic. it felt like it was a show that was made just for her and she thought it would be a turning point in her career. that was the sweet part. the bitter part was that it wasn't a turning point in her career. the response was good and she thought it would open a few doors for her. it didn't, while it was hit with her fans, it didn't help push her into the public anymore than that.
playlist - 308 wc
hit u: most likely her favorite title track so far. when she heard it, it was dark right off the bat and set the tone she was looking for since debut. it was a big change from what they had been doing and a very welcome one.
b.b.b: while not her favorite overall, her favorite comeback in recent years. the overall production makes it feel a little more cheap than what she wanted for it but that's the only draw back. she also liked it because it seemed like a sexy people wouldn't get in a tizzy over. it wasn't overly sexual but it didn't have any lingering cute resulting in a pretty solid comeback.
wiggle wiggle: another song where the production felt lacking but she liked the concept overall. it leaned more towards a hip-hop sound that was a welcome change, a chance to do something new. and she can't deny that she enjoyed the shock factor the comeback had. it's not super memorable overall but it was in her comfort zone.
someone like u: while they leaned a bit more towards cute, kami could get behind the retro vibe of someone like you. it was more mature than some of their older tracks but it felt like a slight call back to 'tell me tell me' something she's not too mad at because it felt like they found a balance. along with someone like u doing better on the charts than she could've guessed.
supa dupa diva: a very secret guilty pleasure for kami. over the years, she's come to enjoy the song. also realizing that most of her dislike for the song came from the fact it was their debut and that meant cute. while it can be grating on repeat, every once in a while she'll put it on for a little mindless listening.
ooc plots
1. an old normal plot but one i really want for kami. that one best friend in the industry that she can always lean on. they sent the cute text and try to keep up snap-chat streaks. someone's she's become close enough with that they knew her entire history from personal life to her career behind the scenes. it's a rather simple plot but i feel like it's something that's really lacking in her life. this would've happened pretty much after she debuted and around the time of gal.actic's concept change, i think it would be cool for them to meet over kami being un-bothered by comments that came with their concept change.
2. an ex-plot but with a little weight. they would have been dating around the time gal.actic had to switch to their sexy concept. after a comeback or so, or just the whiplash of the change. your muse chooses to break up with kami. either personally or possibly because of family, they think the concept is too extreme and they just couldn't see themselves being with her at that point. she was crushed but it appeared at least she managed to get over it quickly, that being said, she hasn't said a word to since. this could work for a muse that's little more conservative or has a super judgmental family.  [ m ]
3. i think i want a rival plot? it's something fun and interesting. they don't have even be rivals, they could simply dislike each other for various reasons or any reason. kami can have a slightly off-putting personality so that could play into it. i mean, the room almost gets super tense when they're in the same room. they don't like each other and it's been going on for a few years at this point. though they mostly have verbal spars, it's come close to an actual right before.  i also don't mind the plot of fighting being driven by kami. honestly, we could do a lot with this, wherever the muse takes you.

task#10 - memory, playlist, ooc plots
memory
debut: it might a simple one but it's straightforward but it's simply her. a debut is an important thing for any artist but it's something jiyoo treasures a bit more. honestly, she didn't know what she was going to in life, she was just going day by day with little thought for her future. then she became a trainee and suddenly there was something to focus on, yeah it fell into her lap but she was serious about doing well, making her company and family proud. then when debut talks happened, she didn't think she would debut. not due to lack of talent but because she just felt like some girls were better. even after being put in the debut line up. it wasn't until they were on stage that she honestly like she had something to do with her life ( at that point. ). yeah, she didn't start wanting to be an idol but she wanted to a damn good job at being one. it's just a great feel good memory for her something she wouldn't trade.
first concert: when they started to blow up, jiyoo knew aria was big but she didn't realize how big until their first solo concert. preparing for it, she was excited and then the days leading up to it, she found herself nervous. then they were on stage and wow, they had a lot of fans. she could remember just staring for a moment, almost messing up on stage. right away, she could tell how different it was from being at a music show or even a fan-sign. there was a type of energy that you wouldn't have unless it was a concert. she remembered having fun, maybe too much fun. completely drained after their first concert stage. they've had plenty of concerts after that but nothing quite lives up to her very first one, the rush she felt when she realized that they were at the point to even have a concert.
variety show: a little more recent but the very first step in her solo career. ( if it could be called that. ) despite being a singer and dancer, aria was good enough for her and she wanted to find something away from being an idol. and variety show's were a great way to do that. she had a few idea's of the kind she wanted to do but crime scene was a great first step. on top of the fact that it was a show that allowed her to be silly and have fun. yeah, a lot of it was scripted and they had certain way to play but they were also given a freedom to improvise and just let the character take over. and if a season two happens, she wants to be apart of it.
playlist - 376
mr. chu: this track surprised her base on the title alone. yeah, by the time the chorus rolled around, it was a little more like she expected. still, she wasn't prepared for the verses to be a little more sub-ed and a slightly more toned down song overall. it didn't stop it from being catchy and improved on the direction it seemed their sound seemed to be taking.
destiny: in jiyoo's opinion, destiny really did help shape their sound to a point, and the overall feel of their lyrics. outside of one or two songs that followed, their music had taken on a quality of being a bit cheerful in the instrumental but the lyrics being amazingly sad sometimes. it's something she thinks is aria's charm and since destiny was the first time it happened, it has a special place in her heart.
i'm so sick: a much appreciated concept change for aria. not that jiyoo thought was anything wrong with their concept but after years of more or less cute and slight more mature attempts it was a welcome change. outside of the concept being more mature without being overly sexy it's just a good song, especially the chorus.
nonono: from the promotional photos, you wouldn't expect the song to have the little grove it had. it was a little shocking when she first heard the demo. yeah, it was cute and catchy but a lot more playful than she expected. she considered it one of the songs that really helped shape their sound. ( and the small instrumental break was always interesting to hear. she always forgets that it's coming, )
cameo: a title track worthy song in her eyes. jiyoo wouldn't have minded performing it as a promotional track. the lyrics were a perfect play on the title. it was just the right amount of cute that would've fit their very early music. it's also fun to perform on stage, almost like a play.
triangle: a b-side jiyoo really does like. all starting with the intro that sounded like it belonged in a video game when she first heard it. it sort of keeps the theme but it's hidden under their normal style. still, that was enough for it to become one of her favorites.
ooc plots
1. this plot is more so for the other muse than jiyoo but something nice for jiyoo given her personality. so, this plot is for a muse that is / was very closed off to people for whatever reasons. until jiyoo came into their life and sort of refused to leave. constantly inviting them out, checking in on them and etc, just being a good friend. which was something they weren't / aren't able to really used too. ( and they can distrust it for whatever reason. ) which leads to a big-blow out in which your muse kind of blows up on her, assuming after that she'd back up off the friendship idea. ( maybe a test like thing? ) and ding-ding-ding, she does hold on, which surprise your muse and leads to the trusting her a bit more...even enjoying the friendship.
2.  overall, i've written jiyoo has a pretty happy girl and she is! but she does underlying pain, worries and etc it's just not something she focuses on. she chooses to be happy even though she has stuff to deal with which will lead / has lead to a big blow up. so on tv, jiyoo is pretty open about the fact that she didn't plan on being an idol and it kind of fell into her lap. and off screen it's the same but she's more open with other idols training life, joining a company, it was pretty much a breeze for her. along with her wealth, it doesn't seem like she's struggled. so, inter muse that has not only struggled in life but becoming an idol, debuting ( if the group isn't doing well etc etc ). so seeing jiyoo's personality along with the backstory, they think she's a little vapid and is wasting what other's would kill for. the problems and misunderstanding kind of build up until they've seen her really get angry for the first time and her unloading her problems. they could either come to an understanding or think it's just woe as me and boom still rivals. this could be something that has happened or happens currently ic.
3. more misunderstandings but of the more romantic nature. good friends and friends with benefits and they've prided themselves on keeping it that way and being able to be friends without the benefits. both might've dated and had something serious at one point and being just friends wasn't a problem. but for this they were both single and enjoying the benefits. when your muse accidentally learns jiyoo caught feelings. but doesn't wait around to find out if she was going to try anything. ( wasn't ) but cut off the relationship quick, including the friendship. and seeing as jiyoo didn't try to reach out and explain because well being offended, your muse takes it has fact and is irritated with her. so now because of said misunderstanding, now they're just side-eyeing and glaring at each other. because they think she was going to attempt more and because jiyoo sort of refuses to salvage the friendship until she gets an apology which is taking the petty route but she does hold grudges. good for muses that are quick to assumptions / cutting people off.

fmdtask10: Top 5 hits.
Noah didn’t like Origin’s initial sound, nor is he fond of their current one. In between though, there are a few he likes.
Just One Day
The Truth Untold
Blood Sweat & Tears
Awake
Epiphany
It should come as no surprise that Noah’s favorite songs include his solo numbers. They are written for him and him only, and suit him perfectly. That doesn’t mean he likes performing them - being practically alone on stage is too much pressure. He’s a visuals type performer - people paying attention to his dancing and vocals is not his style.
Beyond those two there are two title tracks and one b-side. Blood Sweats & Tears is the track he has stated to be his favorite multiple times during interviews, and nothing has come close since. Before the release of that track, it was Just One Day. The slower, sweeter track was a change of pace from their previous sound and many fans consider it one of Noah’s best eras. More cinematic, intimate music videos are his forte after all.
Rounding out the list is The Truth Untold. He knows he is the worst out of the vocal line, but doesn’t care. A song focused on vocals means no dance, and given the eyes are on their main and lead vocal he’s free to relax as long as he remembers to raise his microphone when it is his time to sing his small parts.
