Here are the second filming tasks for our Idolized event! For this task block, there are three tasks for points below the cut. They are all specific tasks for the show this time. You are not required to complete all tasks (or any), so I encourage everyone to do only what they have muse for instead of draining themselves!
Reminder that task completions should be tagged only in the individual tag for this task block.
Note: Completing these tasks is worth up to 5 points total on your points page. If you plan to complete the tasks, please post them by Sunday, April 22, at noon EDT (current time EDT can be found here) in the tag #fmdidolized2. Points may only be collected once the post is liked by the main to verify proper completion. If it doesn’t fulfill the requirements or is not posted in the task tag, it will not be verified. Any threads or self-paras that take place on camera should be tagged #fmdidolizedoncam. This includes the starter and subsequent replies for as long as they are on camera. Any interactions not appropriately tagged as such will not be considered as submitted for potential airing.
Task One. Filming Thread (2 points)
Prompt: The idols will take a mini trip to Jeju Island to “prepare” for their trip there for the Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert they’ll be performing there in a few weeks. They will go in two groups, either on the 12th/13th of the month or on the 20th/21st month depending on their schedules. The groups can be found below.
April 12/13 - Group One: Decipher, WISH, MARS, Silhouette, Origin, Gold Star Soloist 2, Gold Star Soloist 3
April 12/13 - Group Two:  Knight, BC Soloist 1, BC Soloist 3, 7ROPHY, Dimensions Soloist 1, DImensions Soloist 4, Aria, Element
April 20/21 - Group One: CHARM, Gal.actic, Vice, Dimensions Soloist 3, Impulse, Gold Star Soloist 1
April 20/21 - Group Two: BEE, Lipstick, BC Soloist 2, BC Soloist 4, Alien, Unity, Dimensions Soloist 2, DIARY, Femme Fatale
The respective groups will arrive to Jeju in staggered groups on the evening of the earlier date and will be afforded a couple of hours to sleep/eat/socialize as they wish with a curfew of 10PM. Anyone found by their manager to have not reported to their room by 10PM will not be allowed to film the following day and will be placed on restrictions for the rest of filming. Filming will occur on the second day.
The trip will be partially sponsored by the Jeju’s tourism department, just like the concert will be, so they’ll have arranged schedules of locations to visit. On the second day, Group One from each trip will visit Jeju National Museum and Jeju Museum of Art in the morning and Manjanggul Cave, Gimnyeong Maze Park, and Seongeup Folk Village in the afternoon. Group Two from each trip will have reverse morning and afternoon schedules. Group One and Group Two of each date will meet up for lunch on camera in between at a local restaurant that has been bought out for the time. Group members will be required to sit with their fellow group members for lunch, and soloists may sit wherever they wish to. Idols should be mindful that any potentially scandal-worthy material will not be used in the episode’s final cut and executives will be alerted to any poor or suspicious behavior recorded during the trip.
All idols will leave the evening of the second day after filming is completed. Most will depart to return to Seoul, but some (namely Knight, WISH, and Origin) will depart to Japan for own various schedules  that following weekend.
Idols are allowed to post on social media about the trip without specific spoilers to spread hype for the show as long as it follows social media contract rules. Photos and mentions of/with other idols on the same filming day are encouraged.
Requirements:
You may do as many threads (and self-paras) as you wish taking place during your muse’s filming, but only one will count for points. The thread completed for points should be the one tagged under #fmdidolized2 and should fulfill the following:
The majority of the thread should take place on camera and be tagged accordingly.
The thread should consist of at least a starter and a reply from the original poster and two replies from the thread partner (a total of 4 posts, assuming two writers) by the deadline. You are highly encouraged to continue the thread past the deadline if you wish to!
Threads not for points may be off-camera and with whomever you wish from the other idols filming on the same days!
Note: If you want to post an open starter about the Jeju trip filming, it will not count for a point since possible responders will be limited to only those filming at the same time. Please specify which group and filming your muse is part of on the starter to avoid confusion!
Task Two. Self-cam (2 points)
Prompt: Your muse has been provided with a vlogging-style camera to do a self-cam with the task of showcasing “what [their] passion is”. This will not be during their Jeju trip, but while they are in Seoul. They will not have a filming crew or stylist/makeup artist, but should look presentable. This can be directly related to their job or not, but those more related to the themes of the show will be more likely to air. Both talking in a vlogging format and showcasing their passion (ex. bringing the camera to vocal class or during dance practice) are acceptable. Your muse can choose whether to make this serious or comedic, but it should be appropriate and any controversial material will not be used in the episode’s final cut. The total unedited footage should not exceed ten minutes total, but keeping it shorter is highly encouraged. Most of this footage will not be used on the show unless it fits the storyline of the episode. If this task is not completed, it will be assumed in-character that your muse was not asked to film a self-cam segment.
Requirements:
This task should be completed as a self-para of 400+ words and will not count toward your self-para limit for the month.
This is a self-cam, so they should be talking to and interacting with the camera when appropriate!
Please do not incorporate any unapproved schedules such as rehearsals/recordings/script readings/etc. for points claims that have not yet been approved.
Task Three. Interview (1 point)
Prompt: Your muse has been given a twenty minute block in their schedule at some point after their trip to Jeju to film a reflective interview for this filming period of Idolized. They will be pulled aside into a room which has been specially designated in each company and set up for talking head segments utilized during the show. Your muse will be asked the following questions by one of their managers (who is off-screen) and their answers will be filmed. They should answer in typical reality show format, including the question in their answer and answering as though no direct question was asked. The longer the answers and the more topics covered the better, since it allows more options for editors. All footage will be kept and will possibly be aired throughout the season. Idols are instructed to maintain a personal, but not overly negative attitude in their answers. Even if written in self-para format, this does not count toward any of your monthly limits for the month.
Questions
How was your trip to Jeju? What do you think of Jeju? Have you been there before?
Which location in Jeju was your favorite to visit, and why?
What is your passion?
If you weren’t a celebrity, what would you be?
If you could perform a special stage during the upcoming Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert, what would you want it to be?
Additional Filming:
Below you can find additional filming occurring during this time period. Everyone is free to write threads or self-paras if they are included, but threads on these topics will not be worth points. Please remember, anything that takes place on camera should be tagged #fmdidolizedoncam.
Promoting artists (Jaewon & Soo, DIARY, Alien, Impulse, 7ROPHY, Mia, Lip Gloss, Femme Fatale, Trevor, Dimensions Soloist 1, Rene, Théo & Xion, White Knight, Gold Star Soloist 3) will have filming in their waiting rooms at music shows (if applicable), as well as during rehearsals at their companies, and potentially events like fan signs.
Artists preparing for a confirmed comeback this month (Aria, Unity, Gold Star Soloist 3, MARS, Namsoo) will be filmed briefly in the studio and during comeback preparations in practice rooms, during any photo shoots, and at the salon, if applicable.

after getting settled in the hotel that they would be staying in for the weekend, xiu found herself wandering around a little aimlessly. a few of her group members had decided to turn in early for the night, something that she wasn’t really quite that ready to do yet. it was still early in her eyes, only a little after a seven, and while she knew that there wasn’t much that she could really do before their curfew arrived at ten in the evening, she didn’t want to waste the little free time they had in their hotel room. she wanted to go out and do a little bit of exploring on her own, but being that it was in a completely new area that she wasn’t familiar with, she wasn’t exactly gunning to go out exploring on her own and risk getting lost, so she wanted to bring someone along with her.
the sight of a familiar back caught her attention, and before she could stop herself she was walking over to him. she and blue had a good sunbaenim-hoobaenim relationship. they had spoken with one another many times before in the past, and she found that their personalities were compatible enough for them to be pretty good friends, although they hadn’t really had the chance to become as close as they could have. “hi sunbae,” she bowed her head slightly, before smiling. “are you busy? we have a few hours before curfew and i wanted to go out and do a little exploring of my own before the groups go out tomorrow morning.”

LOCATION: Manjaggul Cave, Jeju Island DATE: April 13, 2018
Tumblr media
Slowly, Eunha was starting to lose her patience.
As if the camping trip hadn’t been enough, this time they’d been pushed into an overnight trip to Jeju Island. SURE, it wasn’t as bad and overwhelming as it could’ve been – a day away from the overpowering Seoul rush and their busy schedules should be a gift Eunha welcomed with her arms opened. However, this time around there was a set of locations they were required to attend. Sight-seeing in a place a good number of idols had been to in the past, Eunha included, and that therefore didn’t offer enough of a novelty for the girl to pretend not to be annoyed at the prospect of walking around the entire day when her body begged her to settle down for a while. The woman was aware it was mostly her own fault. She kept pushing her limbs to the point of exhaustion, and not supplying her organism with enough nutrients to keep going. The tiredness was a side-effect of the control Eunha ached to have, but she lacked that one voice of reason that pushed her into seeking assistance.
In spite of the ever growing sourness, the female still relented to the schedule they’d been given. It was early afternoon, and instead of counting down the hours for the trip to end so they could go back home, Eunha was forcing herself to admire the caves they were exploring, even if it felt far too somber for her taste. Eventually, the woman reached for her phone, wanting to snap a few pictures. As expected from Eunha, however, the device slipped from her hands and the effort to not let it drop and further damage the already cracked screen lead the girl to lose her balance. The automatic reaction was to reach for what was closest to her in order to keep herself upright but that plan failed MISERABLY when the only thing Eunha could accomplish was to send both her and someone else to the ground with her.
“ Shit, ” the expletive fell from usually untainted lips, as she looked down to the person underneath her. A part of her mind was well aware of the cameras around, all very likely to capture this moment. Eunha could only hope it wasn’t interesting enough to be aired. “ Are you okay? ”

Meeting Eunwoo’s Parents- Eunwoo, Seri and Wren
@fmdwren, @fmdseri
Being back home in Jeju made Eunwoo so excited. It had been such a long time since she had been back to her hometown. The smell of the sea and the familiar scenery made her realize how much she actually missed being home. A favorite pastime of her popped into her head and gave her an idea. Texting her father as a question, her grin broadened as she bounced up and down at his reply.
“Hey, is anyone interested in fishing on the sea? I’m surprising my mom and dad, they don’t know I’m here and they’re about to go onto their boat. Oh, you can finally meet my parents!” Her pitch became higher and her breath seemed to be out of place from speaking so quickly as Eunwoo clapped her hands together. If anything, she adored her parents and how they often came to her in Seoul. Now it was time to surprise them with some of her members.

@fmdlyra
the art in the museum itself had been of much more interest to dohee than anything the museum gift shop could offer her, but as their time at the location neared its end, she’d been nudged toward the small shop by her manager. separating herself away from everyone else and giving the editors footage in a place not everyone else had gone would be helpful toward getting her screen time, and her manager didn’t need to say that for her to catch on. she didn’t have much desire for the limelight in this particular situation, but she also understood that, as her group’s leader, she owed it to her girls to try to get them as much attention as possible, no matter how small the attempt at doing so was.
it wouldn’t be very conducive to her manager’s goal to silently peruse the shop, though, so she turned to the nearest person, who just so happened to be someone she instantly recognized as a respected industry senior: lyra. “sunbae, would you help me? do you think these,” dohee held up a pair of admittedly questionable socks with the print of a painting on them, “or a book on the history of artists native to jeju is the better souvenir to bring back home with me?” she laughed lightly at her own serious tone for such an inconsequential inquiry. “or should i try to incorporate these earrings into my everyday wear?” dohee motioned to the aforementioned jewelry, a pair shaped into replicas of a sculpture, the meaning of which even dohee had had a tough time grasping.

LOCATION: Jeju Island
DATE: 21st April 2018
STATUS: Closed with @fmdnamsoo
Tumblr media
“Namsoo!” Blue yelped the opposite male’s name, taking a seat beside his group member as well as throwing an arm around his shoulder to drag him closer. Blue was happier than the days before, for the thrill of performing onstage that night was eating at his nerves and stimulating endorphins. All the stress of life subdued, and Blue was only focusing on the positive. He had to share this happiness with his buddy. “Are you not excited for tonight?” Dropping his arm, he presents a wide smile as his hues glisten. “We have been waiting for this moment for such a long time, and it’s finally here!”

Idolized task three: interview
How was your trip to Jeju? What do you think of Jeju? Have you been there before?
“My trip to Jeju was, to put it simply, amazing,” she starts off slowly. The words are almost expected at this point; praise after praise, only good words and positive things leaves her mouth but she’s very genuine this time. She truly means every word she says, and there is softness in her eyes. She cherishes the lovely island a lot. Much of her childhood was spent there, after all. “I’ve been really looking forward to come back here for the longest time, and even if I came here because of a schedule I’m still happy to be back so soon. I think Jeju is really lovely; I feel… at ease when I’m here.” A hint of a smile creeps up on her features, “I have been here before. Jeju is my hometown.”
Which location in Jeju was your favorite to visit, and why?
“I enjoyed all the locations we went to, and I’m glad we were able to explore a little outside of our schedule. I think for an aspiring artist as myself I enjoyed the Museum of Art. The exhibits piqued my interest and I felt very inspired being surrounded by intriguing artpieces. I didn’t think I’d enjoy Gimnyeong Maze Park as much as I did,”a low chuckle accompanies her words. “I didn’t think I liked getting lost in the maze but it was a lot more fun than I expected.”
What is your passion?
“I’d say my passion is… art.” It was to put it simply, to sum it up in one word. Her passion, she had found, lies in not only singing and performing. She’s found herself entranced by the art of producing, composing and writing music. There’s something fulfilling about just creating a piece from scratch; the process was healing as it was challenging, as tiring as it was fun. She finds it easier to express herself; all the feelings she locked away is easier to face when she doesn't have to say it with her own mouth. Doodling was something she always had done; doodling on every surface she ever came across, but only in recent years did she pick it up again and became serious with it. Which bleeds into her interest with tattoos; ink on her body was yet another way of expressing herself. Art itself could embrace so many things, and it was the act of creating, the act of expressing the different sides of her in various ways, in which her passion lies.
If you weren’t a celebrity, what would you be?
“I think I would be still working with art somehow. I’m not quite sure what I would be working as or where I would be working, but I’m sure I would still be connected to art in one way or another. As a producer, maybe? Or perhaps a painter? The possibilities are truly endless, really.”
If you could perform a special stage during the upcoming Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert, what would you want it to be?
“A special stage?” pursing her lips, she falls into contemplation. It was an intriguing question, one that had her mind rearing for the ideal special stage she wanted to do. “I think it would be cool if us solo artists could come together for a special stage. We’re all so different and unique in both character and musicality, so I think it would be quite a stage we could put on. There are a lot of great soloists out there and I would love to be able to work with them all at one point.”

IDOLIZED PART TWO, TASK THREE: INTERVIEW.
truly, he didn’t mind doing interviews. he always had a lot of fun doing these type of things, especially because he knew that the fans would like, and look forward to what would be said. he makes sure he looks presentable, fixing his hair a little bit, and fixing his shirt, before sitting down for the interview. it began rather quickly, already onto the first question.
How was your trip to Jeju? What do you think of Jeju? Have you been there before?
“The trip to Jeju was a lot of fun, I had a blast! Jeju is honestly such a beautiful place, something about it is so calm and relaxing. I was so glad we got to see Jeju in a different kind of way, rather than for it’s beaches and stuff like that. I’ve been to Jeju before with Decipher for work related things! But, it’s never really been like this. I’m really thankful for Jeju’s tourism department for doing this for us!”
Which location in Jeju was your favorite to visit, and why?
“I really enjoyed Jeju National Museum and Jeju Museum of Art! There was a lot of things for me to learn, as well as to read, and look at. I really enjoy learning and getting to learn more in my life after schooling is something that I really cherish. So, that’s something that I really enjoyed. I also really liked going to Gimnyeong Maze Park! That place was beautiful and outstanding. It was a really interesting place. Even though I did end up getting lost with Wish’s Wren inside of the maze,” he laughed softly.
What is your passion?
That was probably a rather easy one for him to answer; it was almost obvious. “My passion...My passion is simply singing... making music... going out onto stage to perform music. Seeing fans and interacting with them.... being an idol, that’s all my passion because I get to do music. For the longest time, my passion has been music because it constantly gets me through things, it uplifts me, and it just generally makes me happy. Always do the passion that makes you happy and don’t let others stop you from doing that. I’m just so happy that I’m on a path where I get to share music with fans and not fans alike.”
If you weren’t a celebrity, what would you be?
“To be quite honest, I think this path is my destiny,” he chuckled softly, shaking his head a little bit. “But, if I wasn’t a celebrity, I think maybe I’d be doing something behind the scenes? Maybe I’d be a song writer or a producer. But, there’s also the chance that I could of been a nurse, because I really, really love to help people. Or a veterinarian because I love all pets alike.”
If you could perform a special stage during the upcoming Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert, what would you want it to be?
“I really want to do a girl group song! I don’t really mind what group it would be, but I just really want to do a cover of a girl group! I love songs from a lot of different girl groups, so I think it would really be a lot of fun!”

@fmdamor / april 13th,  gimnyeong maze park.
“so....” benjy looked around, only to find tall green hedges surrounding him before his eyes flickered back to the younger female, his company for the time being now that he lost track of all his members, and the cameraman, who just his luck had caught up to him when he bumped into the 7rophy member. it felt a little like deja vu; taking him back to a time where he had gotten lost with his roommate in hong kong --- though at least back then he wasn’t being filmed.
he should be wary, guarded, especially with the cameras on the both of them but his friendship with the dancer has long lost any resemblance of shame anyway, not after sleeping together that one time, only uniting them more instead of bringing them apart. (who said you can’t stay friends after having sex? clearly they should be a prime example.)
“this is nice, isn’t it?” he continued, reaching out to touch the greenery. a simple, innocent way to start the conversation. he might be lost and he was sure at least half of his members will be worried about his whereabouts, but a part of him was curious as to what amor might have up her sleeves. she was trouble, benjy had come to learn, and it was exactly the kind he couldn’t stay away from. like a moth to a flame, with hers burning bright.

self-cam // idolized  event part two | word count - 1,155
Tumblr media
The idea of vlogging, or standing on film alone, really, was never a comfortable one when it came to Taeyang. Perhaps it lacks the refinement he’s used to when he’s in front of cameras, or even just because he can’t get enough words off of his sandpaper tongue in time to make usable footage, but now with the little camera-tripod thing in his hands, Taeyang regrets saying yes to the self-cam for that one documentary just a little bit. Management had mentioned something about his anti-social status picking up some notice on sns as of now and how fans continuously were asking for his presence here and there, or “at least a selca.” That’s the motivation for even saying yes to this in the first place. He’d been relatively hidden in earlier filming sessions for this thing, so the least he try is throwing a bone to fans if the segment makes it in. If. If not, he’s not hurting. His French press coffeemaker and his dog training classes were the biggest fans he had and needed as of late.
“They’re starving, they said,” he’d been told, and the only response he could ever supply was the occasional nod or apology. If they were starving so badly, they could switch fanbases, right? Apparently not, and even he would be bitter if such a diaspora occurred, so Taeyang brings his favorite hoodie (as a security blanket) and the supplied camera to his vocal class as suggested by his members. The coach raises a brow at the sight of him wearing a face of decent makeup for once and the lack of bags under his eyes, but doesn’t say anything when she recognizes the camera in his hands. Suddenly the memo she got about the documentary makes sense and she has no qualms about him finally turning the thing on with a recognizable ‘ping’ heading the recording.
Taeyang knows how ‘squishy’ his cheeks get when he smiles, how they push up against his eyes and make him look like a ball of dough, and once upon a time he’d have been self-conscious about it, but he doesn’t properly care at the moment. He supplies a shy wave as he appears in the frame of the video, smiling indeed, and navigates his way around the room panning it a full-360 to give everyone a pretty view.
“So, we’re at, my vocal lesson...” He trails off with awkward pauses between his words, raising his brows to mimic the coach. He shows her expression and then his before laughing loosely. “I’ve been going to these for about ten years now, so I’m really good friends with my coaches. They make it all happen, my voice, the stability in it...everything. They make my best gift what it is. Though they usually ask if they can trade me away once they realize how weird my voice is,” He knows his comedy is weak, but he tries anyways. “I still appreciate their effort, you know? There’s a lot of people behind the scenes that make our talents come to life for everyone, and as everyone in Decipher grew up in the industry, we realized how important they are. When you’re young, you take advantage of a lot of the little opportunities presented to you, but those things are the key to having a great career. Things like the dance teacher staying behind an hour to keep you from holding down the rest of the group’s progress, or the stylists willing to accommodate you when you’re uncomfortable about an outfit or the way it makes you look...you can’t take those things for granted.” Taeyang chuckles more naturally and tries to move his hair out of his face. They do like forehead, right?
“I remember a time,” he sits down on the piano bench next to his coach and re-centers the camera on his face, “when I used to complain about lessons in particular. You have to get up early usually, ahead of your already colossal schedule, and pretty much rip your vocal cords to shreds to get them to wake up. I eventually decided to skip classes some time in my early twenties, thinking I was too good for them. That didn’t really work out when I realized how bad my parts sounded in early recordings. Singing means a lot to me, and after getting a lot of rap parts, I realized that I wanted more to be a singer. More than anything else, more than I wanted to buy fancy clothes at that age or win a lot of trophies. I never skipped again after that. I even stayed up in my room, just to prove how serious I was about singing and improving at it. The members thought it was annoying at first, someone keeping them up all night, but they along with the coaches saw how much I cared about my voice over time. It was really redeeming,”
“In all seriousness, like my coach here, these experts...they work just as hard as we do. They want us to succeed at our passions. We often get annoyed with them because they’re strict,” he turns to his coach with a nervous laugh and shrugs his shoulders at her scandalized expression, “and criticize us heavily, but isn’t everyone who consumes our music like that? They’re going to criticize, they’re going to look for flaws and things to say about us. Going to lessons prevents some of those flaws from appearing in the first place. After ten years of them? It’s like the flaws never existed.”
Taeyang sets up the camera with as steady hands as possible on top of the piano and in front of the coach and himself. She guides him through a warm-up she knows he’s particularly look at, and they even briefly work on one of his parts from an older time, Lucifer, with a smile on their faces. She’s picked up on his intention by now, to show that his lessons have hardened his vocals, his greatest passion, to perfection no matter how hard they are, and the little sample she leads them through shows it well enough.
“Thanks, ssaem,” Taeyang, now with a sizable smile on his face, gives his thanks to the woman after ending the recording and packing the camera away in the bag he’d toted with him. The night of practicing and rehearsing something for this self-cam had been a waste; it was clear that he was better off letting words come to him naturally just as he did in the past. He was going to show a different passion, like cooking or something non-work related, but perhaps that’s only due to the fact that singing and performing, clearly his real passions, are sore subjects for him nowadays.
Something tells him that he misses the spotlight more than he thought he did.

— self para 001 : idolized part two.
location: dimensions dance studios time and date: april 17, 01:24am word count: 738 words
Eunha sets the tripod of the camera on the table, adjusting it to a height where all of her body will be filmed from a distance. It’s been a while since the girl last did something like this, filming herself dancing. The last was the cover of CHARM’s song she did for their anniversary, but even that had been filmed a month or so before she posted it, for the girl knew she wouldn’t have time to learn the choreography while she was preparing for the comeback. It’s inevitable Eunha is nervous – she strongly doubts this particular video is going to end up being used for the documentary, but it doesn’t mean she feels particularly confident about dancing to what she’s going to knowing someone is going to watch it.
“Hello, 7rophy’s main vocal, Eunha, here,” she greets once the camera is set up, giving a proper bow lest she come across as unpolite. “How is everybody doing? Good, I hope? I genuinely hope you’re enjoying this documentary because I know all the idols are putting a lot into making watching it a good experience.” The smile that comes is surprisingly effortless – as tired and cranky as the singer’s gotten in the past few days, it’s undeniable that she wants to make the fans happy above all else.
“We were given these cameras so we could show all of you what our passion is,” after years of practice, speaking to an audience comes easily to her, especially when she’s not necessarily seeing them. “And I thought really hard about it because I know my fans probably want to hear me sing. You’re always complimenting my singing and my voice, and I see those comments – I see my fans asking for a solo, for more opportunities for me to sing, and I promise that I’m working hard to make sure I’ll become a singer that brings you a lot of pride and joy. But for today – or, well, tonight – I decided to do something different.
“The fans know that I used to dance, especially because of dance videos that I’ve been in, both for the company and other dance academies,” thankfully, though, there are no videos of when she was a ballet dancer, not online at least. “So I decided to show you this side of me tonight. I hope it’s not disappointing! I’m going to be dancing to a CHOREOGRAPHY that is not original, you can find it online, but that I love, and it allows me the opportunity of showing to you guys that I can dance in heels!” Playfully, she brings one leg up, showing the camera that she’s wearing thin heels shoes, proper for dancing. “It’s a song that I love a lot, too, so I hope you guys enjoy it.”
The woman bows again before turning on the stereo with the remote control. Setting into position, Eunha takes a deep breath so she can get into the mood of the song. There’s not enough time to prepare before she’s supposed to start dancing, but since she’s been rehearsing this choreography on and off for the past six months or so, Eunha falls into it effortlessly.
What she appreciates the most about it is the illusion that the heels make it difficult. In fact, as much Eunha had pointed them out, for someone who’s used to it, the real tricky part is hitting the right moves at the right times. The song is structured in a perfect dancing pace, but the movements, although appearing simple, require a level of precision that she doesn’t believe she’s reached yet.
But she still tires, Sevdaliza’s voice smooth in her ears, the beat complimenting the vocals rather than contrasting with them. The leggings Eunha’s wearing aren’t the most comfortable for this choreography, but the other option was wearing shorts – and she knew her manager would complain if she did that. Before the girl notices it, the music is over. It’s something that never fails to impress her; how easy it is to lose yourself when you’re dancing. It’s perhaps the main reason as to why she could never quit doing it, no matter how much it aches her.
When Eunha dances, it’s the only time she feels truly free.
Panting, slightly out of breath because of the exertion, Eunha turns off the music, and walks towards the table, eyes locked in on the camera.
“I hope you enjoyed it!”

◟ — ˚ » idolized; self-cam.
date: april 16, 2018
location: dimensions entertainment recording studio
word count: 632
summary: for idolized2 task two.
notes: this is shit but i’ll blame it on the medicine i’m on rn. no proofreading, we die like men.
if dohee had been asked to film this self-cam a few months ago, she would have struggled to find a space in which she could even display her passions. her singing and acting lessons that continued even when she had no work would have sufficed, but they weren’t particularly interesting to an outsider. the particulars of diaphragm strengthening and raising of the soft palate did not good television make. neither did discussing the application of the viewpoints method.
recently, though, she’d had a resurgence of activity and she’d been able to arrange to bring the camera into the studio while she recorded for her upcoming album. she’d been provided with a camera pole, and once the camera had been turned on, she turned it to face her, an angelically blissful smile on her soft features.
“i’m recording today for a solo project!” she announced with an enthusiasm only slightly exaggerated for the sake of the potential audience. it’d been almost ten years since she’d come to seoul to pursue a career as a performer, and she was finally getting the change to release her own solo album. she had plenty of genuine excitement to show, although she was already suppressing the more negative, perfectionist emotions that bubbled up whenever she entered a recording studio.
“i’m working on a couple of the b-sides on the album today, but it’s important, i think, to put my all into everything into every recording as if it were for the title track,” she explained, continuing to look into the camera as the main audio engineer she was working with for her album finish preparing for their recording session on the other side of the booth. she wasn’t able to record too much of her singing to avoid any unapproved leaks, so she wouldn’t be filming her actual recording process.
“i always warm up before i record anything or perform. since singing is one of my passions, i don’t want to put my ability to do it at risk by not properly preparing myself. you wouldn’t ever run a marathon without stretching out your legs first, right?”
dohee quickly ran through some of her preferred warm-ups. she’d go through and do them more thoroughly once the camera was turned off, but she did want to have some footage to prove she actually did insist on it each and every time.
once she had enough footage, she spoke again, “i began singing when i was young, in church.” dohee rarely went into details about her childhood, and she didn’t plan to do so now, but it only seemed natural to discuss where her love of singing had started. “as i grew up, i got the opportunity to star in some productions at school, and so my love of acting sprang out of my love of singing, you could say.” that wasn’t quite true. dohee’s whole life had been an act since she’d been able to comprehend expectations and right from wrong. her experience with acting preceding her experience with singing if you asked her, but it was always far better to put a pretty bow on a story and package it in the most endearing light.
“i’m really so, so blessed to get to sing for a living. the recording booth really does feel like my home so i’m happy i got to show you guys around here. maybe you’ll see some more from me in here soon? who knows, maybe we’ll get some behind the scenes footage to show me.teors when my album comes out.”
an outro wasn’t required and she didn’t have many more interesting things to say so she gave the camera a small wave with the hand that wasn’t holding on to the pole before pressing the button to turn the filming light off.

JEJU ISLAND INTERVIEW
Rays of Apollo kissed hollowed cheeks; porcelain skin glistening under touch of gold. Cherry wine upon lips, ivories tug and pull for intoxication to fire the lanes of veins. Blood sweet and sour — cinnamon and cherries and licorice. Dust of freckles like speckles of paint on blank canvas, vocalist arrives with saturation of colors unknown before. A softer touch for visage, chocolate hair as opposed to ebony that shadowed him formally. More delicate his lips are as opposed to the crimson appeal once captured in image. White was his top, buttons done neatly, light washed jeans hugging his waist. Eccentric patterns do not design his image. Instead, he is pure fluff of clouds — no longer a storm.
How was your trip to Jeju? What do you think of Jeju? Have you been there before?
A tug of curves with dimpled cheeks, coffee stained orbs avert to the camera focused center, his body leaning with no discipline. Hands on knees, the necklace around hangs low, and it is apparent with the flow of his hair that he no longer wears hoops for earrings, but small diamond studs. “I have only visited Jeju once before when Unity promoted before, but that was a while back, and I was more naive to experience the place to its full extent. This time, I was able to visit more places, and I was able to spend more quality time with friends. I was just able to enjoy myself this time around as opposed to before.”
Which location in Jeju was your favorite to visit, and why?
”Manjanggul Cave was exciting,” Straightening his posture, he noticed from behind his manager gesturing movements to suggest the tugging of sleeves. There’s a squint in Blue’s eyes before averting back to the camera. Hands are sly and nonchalant as he tugs the sleeves of his blouse to further cover his sleeves of tattoos along both arms. “It was an exciting experience, and it is likely one I will forever remember.”
What is your passion?
”Passion …” he utters to himself, lips wrapping around the syllables as eyes travel to his feet — black boots covering toes and hanging off the rails of the stool. “Drumming, rapping, and fashion. I started drumming since a little child. Finding buckets to bang with chopsticks, cans and sticks, anything that would suffice to creating a beat. It was not until recently that I finally got a drum set. A friend got it for me, and I will forever be in debt. Rapping is how I realized performing is what I really wanted to do. It’s how I communicated what I couldn’t in conversations. As for fashion, I have always adored messing around with styles. It is one of the most exciting part of being an idol. Aside from meeting the angels, I adore meeting up with the stylists to see what I can wear and fashion that day.”
If you weren’t a celebrity, what would you be?
A chuckle slips from his lips, a hand decorated with rings reaching to fiddle with his lesser lip. “I honestly have no idea,” the shake of his head, he is careful to not move much knowing his manager does not want Blue to expose too much of his tattoos, especially his newest addition that matched with his friend, Eunha. “I was working odd jobs in the fast food industry to eventually study business. So, who knows? I could’ve been your boss.” A wink attached to his last comment due to reasons unknown to fans.
If you could perform a special stage during the upcoming Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert, what would you want it to be?
Quirking his lips in thoughts, he sat straight now as hands clasped. “There are various artists I would love to work with, especially onstage. For instance, I would like to perform with my cousin Amor, my friends Changki and Jihyuk, a duet with Eunha, a dance portion with Angel, a rap battle with Jun would be funny, and so much more. I want to do a lot.”

Idolized task two: self-cam
The moment the camera is turned on soft music playing in the background can be heard. The camera view, on the other hand, reveals nothing yet. It’s pitch black but then movements are detected, and when Lyra steps backwards, the camera struggles a little to focus properly but then she comes into view with two peace signs held up accompanied by a small smile. “Hello,” she greets the camera, the viewers, casually with a wave of her hand before she lets them fall back down by her side. She’s almost drowning in her hoodie; her face is barely seen courtesy by the dimly lit studio she resides in at the moment. “It’s been a while since I’ve done something like this,” she confesses with a gentle laugh and steps a little bit closer to the camera, fixing the angle in which it was situated and a clear frown shows her dissatisfaction. A few more silent minutes of messing with the device she comes to a stand still in the end, blinking her eyes twice before stepping back again, a victorious smile adorning her features.
“I guess this will have to do.” Finally taking a seat on by the table, she turns the chair around so she’s facing the camera and leans back in the chair; her body language exudes a sense of comfort and ease, and you can tell this is something she’s all too familiar with. There’s nothing awkward about her movements or her words, although she hasn’t said much to begin with, and she’s more or less in her own element. The location of the filming site proves to be a big source to her comfort; the recording studio is like her second home, and she spends a lot of her time there, either wasting away or actually working on new music.
“Welcome to my studio. This is where I spend most of my time, and I think most of you have already seen bits and pieces of the studio already. For those of you who haven’t,” she pauses and swirls around in her chair with her arms stretched. When she faces the camera again there’s a gleeful grin on her face, “This is my recording studio! It’s nothing much, really. It’s just the standard recording studio with equipments and instruments. But it’s all I need, and all I could ask for. The walls are a little bare at the moment, but I want to put my art up on there one day.” Pointing at the bare wall behind her while looking into the camera, she indicates where she thinks she wants her artpiece to go. “I’ll keep you guys updated.”
There’s a short pause but her smile is still intact. It’s been a while since she’s been smiling for more than a few minutes on camera and the smile isn’t forced in any way. Sure, she’s still putting on a front, an act (when isn’t she though) but it’s less strained than the majority of the time she’s on camera. The setting of her choice definitely played a big part in her feeling secure and relaxed, and she was happy she had at least this much freedom. “I’m currently working on some songs. Should I show you a little?” Mischief dances in her iris and she’s tempted to play a little of the demo but she changes her mind last minute and sings a short line instead. “What do you think?” a small, playful laugh accompanies the question. “I honestly don’t know what else to show you. Showing you the process of making a song would just be hours of silence while I’m concentrating and I don’t think that would be fun for you to watch. So this has been a short meeting, but this is where I will say goodbye.” Waving at the camera, she pushes herself closer to the camera - her butt still glued to the chair. “I will see you all very soon. Be sure to catch Idolized when it’s out. Peace.” The screen then turns black; the last thing it captures is Lyra throwing up the peace sign with a smile on her face.

@fmdtaisei | lunch, april 13th
Tumblr media
in ash’s defense, he was so annoyed with his manager that he hadn’t really looked before wrapping his arms around taeisei in the line that had formed to receive the food production had bought for them from the restaurant. also in his defense, taisei and joohyuk were sort of the same height if joohyuk happened to be wearing a couple of centimeters of insoles. “go act cute. do aegyo and ask your hyungs for extra food or something,” ash had been told and the tone his manager was using after wrangling the boys all morning made it clear he shouldn’t argue. whatever. he’d been forced to do more embarrassing things on camera for the sake of entertainment before.
it went from mildly embarrassing hyung-dongsaeng affection to complete mortification when ash realized he was not in fact back-hugging one of his group members. if his manager hadn’t sent a cameraman off after him, ash would have cursed and run away, but as it was, all he could do was pretend he’d done it on purpose. “taisei, it’s good to see you!” ash exclaimed with fake peppiness as he slowly ended the embrace. he only knew the younger man from greeting each other in passing now and again at events and they in no way had a friendship that warranted this kind of greeting, so he prayed taisei would play along because otherwise ash was going to have to spend the next god-knows how many weeks praying to the editing gods that he wouldn’t look like a complete idiot on tv. it was bad enough that taisei probably thought he was some weird, creepy sunbae now.

How was your trip to Jeju? What do you think of Jeju? Have you been there before?
“ It was… Interesting? I’d been to Jeju before, but with family and definitely not with a group of people as big as the one we were with. I didn’t mind it – it was actually a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be! Not- not that I thought it was going to be awful,” chuckles. “God, I’m so bad at this. But really, it was lovely. I’m glad we got to go, even though I had a few…erm, accidents? I hope they were entertaining enough for the fans to enjoy, though! And Jeju, obviously, is a beautiful place. The ocean is very soothing to me, and it was definitely a good experience. ”
Which location in Jeju was your favorite to visit, and why?
“ The Seongeup Folk Village! I thought it was incredible that we were given the opportunity of seeing more things of our traditional culture. ”
What is your passion?
“ My passion? Performing, of course. There’s nothing like standing on stage, I- I don’t think I’ve ever felt something as extraordinary as the feeling of being on stage, singing and dancing and hopefully bringing joy to people. ”
If you weren’t a celebrity, what would you be?
“ A dancer or a chemistry teacher. ”
If you could perform a special stage during the upcoming Hallyu Triple Fantasy Concert, what would you want it to be?
“ A dance one! I want to be able to showcase my dancing skills, because I don’t think I’ve been given the opportunity to do so in the past three years. Some of the fans question me about it because of old videos of me dancing on the internet and I think it’d be lovely if I could perform something for them. Though singing is also something I enjoy doing, don’t get me wrong. So performing a duet with someone I haven’t been able to sing with in the past would be amazing! ”
