I've never been a politician, and I try to keep distance from the political news. But this old idea that austerity beats the crisis, is somewhat against an economy rule that I learned too soon: to spend money, one needs to have money. That means decreasing the fiscal pressure, easing companies to invest, and giving people the possibility to actually make decisions (buying a new car, new house, going on holiday...) . Approving what is now called MES (European mechanism of development) means returning to 2008-12: Italy would be strangled by new debts, that are not fault of its citizens. I'm so tired of running to an escaping goal, and this time, before #coronavirus, I got so close. And that is well-being.
