and i think it's part of the reason why i can't seem to get over myself and are always attracted to characters/people who are the totally personality-wise opposite from me because i'm missing the only element that they have: the unawareness of how desired they are in the real world

you can't push past your self doubts because you're buried under so much weight that you unwillingly dropped onto yourself that to cut yourself free would mean you'd have to entirely change, and i'm not ready for that yet, nor will i ever be

then you just can't help but hate yourself for everything you've forced yourself to be, because in reality, it doesn't matter.

it doesn't matter how you see yourself, it's how others see you.

and i'm so worried that the rest of the world won't handle me with ease when i overcome my own obstacles because they don't care a single bit

we're so small in a world with billions of creatures living among because no matter how good you are there will always be someone better. someone prettier, someone funnier, someone cuter, someone smarter, someone more unique, even. and i have not a single idea how i can cope with being so insignificant.
