I didn’t have time to draw yesterday, so I decided to write a love letter to my beloved Mitsuri instead 🩷

Mitsuri, my darling, my flower, my love;

I cannot tell you how happy you've made me in the short time we've officially been together. Though it's only been a few months, it's felt like years, and every day you manage to make me happier than the last. I am the luckiest person alive to have you.

You endlessly support me, even in my dark times, and you have never once judged my distasteful habits formed by depression and a lack of self love. I appreciate this beyond words. When I hate myself for being unable to do even the simplest tasks, you love me enough for the both of us, and I’m starting to think that I deserve that love. Thank you.

You inspire me, my love, you are my muse. Every drawing is you, love is in every stroke of my pencil. You are the most beautiful sight I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing. And your love for me inspires me to love myself, to take care of myself when usually I’d think I don't deserve it. I haven't quite gotten there yet, but I will, and I know that in the meantime you'll be cheering me on like you always have.
