"As I said, nothing to hide so lying wouldn't really be my thing," Paloma wrinkled her nose, taking another sip of her mildly spiked lemonade. "Are you threatening me?" she scoffed raising her brows at them, "Peyton, I merely said you're good at making things up, surely that's a compliment." she smiled coyly.

"I don't know, would you?" Peyton replied, narrowing their eyes at her. Probably not, but they did like playing these games. Sometimes people got so infuriated, that's when Peyton could really get a good chuckle out of it. "Art was a hobby, computers was more coding and all that," they shrugged. "Are you saying you think all artists are liars? That's a bold claim, some of them in town might take offence to that." And they would know just where to share that opinion publicly if they felt the need to isolate Paloma a bit.

Paloma held onto Lachlan's hand as they stood next to Sofie and Vince's flower arrangement. She already sung her praise to the beautiful design and started to peek her head around to see other arrangements. "You know, you're doing so well with all the flowers around, baby" Paloma said lightly squeezing Lach's hand. "Would you like to go for a walk around the main street?" Paloma asked raising her eyebrows, she was excited to look around and she could see Sofie wanting to go do the same with her friends. "We could let Sofie and her friends go in front so she had her own space?" she suggested a bit quieter, Paloma noticed Lach was keeping his daughter closer so this was a way from Paloma's side to keep both sides happy, give a bit of privacy to Sofie but also be able to see her.

"Dakota" Andy exclaimed seeing a familiar face coming her way. She'd gone through the festival and has already cast her votes for the flower royalties and now has settled back at her own stall selling bee goods under the "Flowers corp." name she chose years ago. Andy took another look at Dakota and frowned lightly, "Did you have another encounter with the tree? Seems like it was better prepared this time" she joked but the frown stayed, the man definitely looked like he'd ran into something or probably someone.

"I think it's all done for charity so I'll get a kiss from whoever's giving. Though it would be fun to sit in the chair." Paloma nodded eyes looking at the distance thinking of the fun parlor activity. You could say she herself worked in a kind of kissing booth though that one was far less innocent than a fair game. "You I suppose, the place isn't half bad, they treat their own well. Although since coming out I've noticed there's some tension between town and commune, what the fuck is that all about?" she scoffed a laugh.

"she's a woman of many talents" she agreed, admiring the craftsmanship of the floral owls. "even the most innocent things needs to protect themselves." she smiled "anyone you're hoping to be there? i've not been over that way yet, i've not long arrived at the festival" odette nodded along with paloma's answer "that's good, i'm glad you're feeling more like yourself" she wasn't particularly close with paloma but she was happy that the other woman had found herself in a better space "life is going find, i guess. yeah i'm still over at the commune. i don't see the point in leaving if i don't have anyone to leave with or leave for, y'know?"

Paloma just knew she liked Lachlan, more than liked him she just struggled to find a word for it. "It's kinda hot right?" she smirked, "Not the sneezing and bleary eye, but that he's doing this for Sofia. Tan gruñón" she frowned herself thinking about him, "Sexy as fuck, Tar." she laughed. "We could de-petal them and like scatter petals and stuff, like for a bath. Biodegradable bath flakes, right?" Paloma shrugged.

Tarnya laughed a little " So that's what you to settled on huh?" She smiled slightly as they walked "So is he just suffering through this whole thing for his daughter?" She had to give it too him, he might have been weird about his feelings for her friend but from what she had heard from Paloma sounded like he was good dad at least . Tarnya shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not sure, I know I'll keep ours up for at least a day longer just in case someone changes their mind about a picture or two. But after that I might ask around and see what they're planning on doing with them when its all over.
