We’re officially long distance!

Today marks first long week that I (Sharon) moved up to Atlanta, Georgia to start school. It honestly feels really weird and depressing that I can’t just go to Tristan, hug him, cry on his shoulder, go on dates with him, cook together, shop together, and cuddle-- I miss those days so much. But I think this will definitely help us mature and grow. I hope it’ll get easier to communicate and cope with being LD. I still love him the same, even more because I appreciate all the things we used to do. Right now I feel nervous, sad, scared, excited, and hopeful for the future of our relationship and of our futures. I know that we were meant to be in the colleges we are going to, even though they’re a state away. I love you tris!!! <3 

Tris here now! Yeah it finally happened. It always seemed a long way away, but in hindsight summer is short, and now we’re in for the long run LDR. I miss Sharon a lot!!! We used to hang out almost everyday, so it’s weird that she’s not around to do everyday things with me. It’s really amazing how much you miss simple things like just sitting and watching a show together. Of course I miss the big date nights too, but really Bear has been my daily companion and I miss that! We’re doing really well communicating in my opinion, and everything has been a smooth sailing ship so far. I think having an LDR will be easy for us. I trust in our relationship and I trust Sharon to the highest degree, and I’m feeling really confident! Everything is happening how it is supposed to, just like Sharon said. Getting used to it will be hard, especially when I’m living on my own in UF, but I’m determined and ready. I will miss what this last year with Sharon has brought into my life. We had fun, love, and great joy, but we will keep moving forward together <3.
