@floof-ghostie Here is an abridged explanation of Griffin and Citlalli's romance.
Before we get to our two main characters, we need to talk about Alicia Broken or the Militarian Hero: Osprey. There is a lot going on with her, but the key notes are she has been the top hero for decades. She has the record for the highest approval rating, and this makes her quite famous and wealthy.
Griffin is her only son with a strong gene (superpower), which makes him prime pickings for power hungry people to try and weasel into one of the biggest lineages (despite the fact his mother chose someone else to inherit her title and heroic legacy). The "problem" is Griffin is very distinctly autistic and very distinctly asexual which makes socialites around him frustrated because their schemes (particularly seduction) don't work.
Enter Citlalli Maina.
Citlalli is punk. How does the audience know she is punk? Well, besides her fashion style, Citlalli is canonically very unpopular in the Floretverse for being very outspoken and refusing to make herself palatable to the masses. She is an idol hero, and the cause she chose to advocate for is making life for ex-convicts a lot better which is obviously not going to be well-received in a superhero universe (especially not a superhero universe that has an entire country that is basically a giant prison). Despite her love for her music, she is panned by critics and is considered a commercial failure.
Griffin and Citlalli meet (technically reunite) and develop a romantic interest in each other but it is a little complicated by Citlalli technically being his superior (ugh, bodyguard contracts). But after he no longer works for her label, she comes by to ask him out very directly (which no one thought to do before) and offering her schedule to schedule a date which Griffin responds with his own calendar.
They are very cute, and eventually Griffin tells her he is asexual which Citlalli responds "Cool, but I didn't invite you to my apartment for sex" and Griffin goes "Oh thank Galaxias". She knew he was autistic because their actual first meeting was her interacting with him while he was having an autistic meltdown. They're golden. Griffin wanted to propose after their first date.
It is everyone else that is the problem because for some reason the idea of Griffin Broken, heir to a wealthy hero legacy, dating Citlalli Maina, a failing rockstar, is too much for them to handle and everyone (except for Griffin's best friend and parents, they love Citlalli) keeps suggesting Griffin date someone else despite Griffin being the happiest he has been in a long time.

Citlalli and Griffin's love story is just socialites being angry at Griffin for *checks notes* dating a woman who respects him as an asexual and autistic man.

Character: Citlalli 'Jay' Maina or Dream☆Crush (OC)
Universe: Floretverse (Original World)
Citlalli Maina is (at this time) the most complete character in the Staris story because she is a supporting character. This sounds bad, especially considering her narrative role is as a love interest; however, this is a sacrifice made to tell a more cohesive story.
Citlalli Maina is introduced during the Internship Arc, which marks the transition between the Genesis Act and the Vigilante Act. She takes part in a minor storyline when Griffin Broken and his best friend Cynthia Rosewell are hired to be her bodyguards for the last leg of her tour. The storyline serves to introduce the audience to idol heroes and to have Citlalli and Griffin enter a romantic relationship.
There is a lot to say about the romance between Citlalli and Griffin, but the main point is the two start dating, and by the time Griffin returns to the academy they have started to call each other girlfriend and boyfriend. The two are shown periodically going on more dates. Eventually, Citlalli has to leave to go on a tour in a country with heavy restrictions on communication, so she briefly leaves the narrative.
She returns during the Sangre Tower Raid Arc, where Griffin formally introduces her to his friends as his girlfriend. This is the last straw for the main antagonist of the Vigilante Act, and Citlalli has to join a rescue team tasked to save a kidnapped Griffin. Despite the derision she receives due to her status as an idol hero, she sweeps an entire floor by herself and escorts Griffin out to an awaiting medic. She is shown to be a constant visitor to his hospital room, but her presence is awkward due to his classmates' preconceived notions of her. Among the romance beats, Citlalli releases a new song with the intent the proceeds would pay off the arrested vigilante Cuervo's legal fees and hospital bill. However, the vigilante reveals she has money and she'd prefer if the proceeds went to mental hospitals instead which Citlalli agrees to without hesitation. Citlalli serves as a witness at the Cuervo Trials, and she and Griffin go public with their relationship during an awards show where Citlalli is given the Heart of Vaporwave Award (essentially inducted into the hall of fame).
Citlalli Maina has sporadic appearances over the next few arcs, but her next major appearance is during the Vaporwave Festival Arc. The arc serves as a breather, where Seydou Raiden discovers he wants to become an idol hero. Citlalli agrees to get him an audition with her agency and mentor, and while Seydou is not accepted as a trainee he does get the chance to participate in the Vaporwave Training Camp. The training camp is meant to prepare idols for the annual Vaporwave Festival, a week of performances to honor the first idol hero. By the end of the arc, Seydou is accepted as a trainee and Citlalli welcomes him on board as her labelmate.
Citlalli Maina is promoted to an important secondary character in the (presumably) final arc which centers around Griffin Broken as he takes down the Dark Clan while wrestling with inner conflict about his familial relationships. This arc is currently not developed.
In the epilogue, Citlalli Maina is shown to be the new person in charge of her record label following her mentor's retirement, and she and Griffin have gotten married.

Talk to me about Floretverse idols pls
Okay, after writing Calcium here and I kind of made this about one character so uh sorry if that isn't what you wanted but I love her.
The unfortunate thing about the Floretverse idols is that they are a very tiny part of the Floretverse, and they are only really seen when the focus is on two characters: Seydou Raiden and Citlalli 'Jay' Maina. However, Citlalli and Seydou are very interesting as characters.
Citlalli is one of two characters who isn't introduced until a good bit into the series, and she is the primary love interest of one of the main characters (Griffin Broken).
Her history is very fun because she was tired of how most music on the radio was just a rip-off of Sasha Aime's music (I think I've talked about her before), and made essentially a call-out video while posting some of her own music. Sasha Aime saw it, agreed, and knocked on her family's townhouse door offering her a record deal. Citlalli agreed, after freaking out of course, and that is how Dream Crush was born.
Citlalli's music is centered in the punk rock genre. A lot of her music is very politically charged and criticizes the establishment. This has lead to her music being banned in certain Petals, but there is one Petal that absolutely adores her music and that is the Carcis Petal.
The Carcis Petal is essentially a peninsula of all villains, where a lot of criminals get dumped into if they are seen as not worth dealing with. One of the characters (Talon Streke) spent a good chunk of her life in the Carcis Petal and describes it as a very heartbreaking place. It is a very unspoken rule that when the Carcis citizens break out of their gated in jail they will leave Dream Crush off the chopping block. Once of the reasons she is super popular there is because she is one of the only heroes who truly recognizes that the system is kind of fucked up once you start thinking about it and making it known!
Speaking of her hero career, since Idol Heroes dedicate a percentage of their proceeds to causes they care about Citlalli works to protect rehabilitation centers, making therapy accessible to all, and improving the life of ex-cons. Once again, this makes her immensely popular in Carcis, and she truly appreciate her fans there! She even releases free patches and buttons for them to sew and trade, along with Carcis exclusive merchandise.
She is also fun because she doesn't tolerate a lot of her peer's bullshit, and likes to show off her power. She has audiokinesis which allows her to manipulate sound, and I made sure to give her a glass shattering scream because she is indeed inspired by Black Canary. She is also very good at hand-to-hand combat.
She and Griffin Broken are an interesting couple as well, and while their romance is a whole story itself just know that they are just gender swapped Splendor and Inkstain with other slight deviations. They eventually get married and have a child along with adopting another child (who is albino and would be one of the two protagonists of a hypothetical Floretverse sequel).

@pizzolisnacks @insomniac-jay
I mind fucked y'all so hard.
{ The Game }
A while back I sent you two a list of oc names that y'all were supposed to guess the powers of.
Unfortunately, I forgot to mention the fact that these characters were not in fact My Hero Academia original characters.
The list of names were for original characters for the Floretverse, my own superhero universe.
The problem with my naming with those who are not fandom ocs is that my naming doesn't center around powers but instead are based around the family, environment they grew up in, and the evolution history of said characters.
The powers in the Floretverse are inherently simple, so seeing y'all blow them into really unique ideas was amazing to watch.
Sorry for the absolute trickery I displayed, but regardless of my lack of clarification here is the true abilities of each of the names.
{ The Answers }
Griffin Broken: Griffin is the son of the top hero in the Lapis Petal, and has a lot of pressure on his shoulders as the world watches him to follow in his mother's revolutionary footsteps. I honestly thought his power was straight forward. He has Griffin Physiology, which gives him the features and abilities of a mythological griffin.
Amaru 'Aaron' Cypress: After being abandoned at a young age, he was adopted into the Cypress family who are in charge of over seeing 4-Leaf's sacred land. He has Invisibility, and a snake aesthetic playing off of natural camouflage.
Sinopa Dawn: Sinopa is the childhood friends with Flint Smith, and wishes to become a hero so she can prevent other families being ripped apart due to heroic negligence. Her power is Fox Physiology, which gives her the features and abilities of a fox.
Justus Ferro: Justus is one of the main student antagonists, boyfriend of Sephora Noble, and a foil to Griffin Broken. His power? I honestly haven't come up with one yet, probably going to be Weapon Proficiency.
Seo-Hyeon Hyun: Seo-Hyeon is an observant girl who is a vault of her classmates' secrets, though not always willingly. Her power is unclear Mental Manipulation, but she definitely can enter minds.
Nubia I'timad: Seo-Hyeon best friend, and a selectively mute person who communicates mostly throguh sign language or through others. Her power is Possession, which makes her more terrifying then she might appear.
Kanti 'Jay' Jelani: A popular idol hero, and transfer student with a certain intensity to her heroic training. She is the love interest of Griffin Broken. Her power is Audiokinesis, which when in use appears as blue. Her symbol is a blue jay, and her stage name is Dreamcrush.
Lillian Kainoa: Lillian's home is with the sea, which is why she is a huge surfer. She is the girlfriend of Min Lin. Her hero name is Rainbow Heroine: Serpentine, after the Australian Aboriginal mythological creature of the Rainbow Serpent. Her power is Hydrokinesis.
Min Lin: A boardwalk florist with a great admiration for Natural Heroine: Ecoblade. She wants to become a heroine to follow in her idol's footsteps. She is the girlfriend of Lillian. Her power is Ecokinesis, which is the same ability as her idol although to a less degree due to inexperience.
Aurea Maristella: One of the four children of the notorious Maristella family, and one of the victims of the family's abuse (akin to the Todorokis). She is sort of the quiet victim, words kept to a minimum. The last name is intentionally misleading as she has the family's Pyrokinesis gene that all members obtain.
Skylar Maristella: One of the four children of the notorious Maristella family, and one of the victims of the family's abuse (akin to the Todorokis). She is sort of the desperate victim, trying her best to be favorable in the eyes of her parents. The last name is intentionally misleading as she has the family's Pyrokinesis gene that all members obtain.
Batu Negga: The overlooked brother of the perfect progidy that is Everest Negga. He holds no ill will towards his sibling, but feels a little bad about not being able to make the small town they come from proud. He has Bat Physiology, and has the features and abilities of a bat.
Everest Negga: The progidy child of a small town, who is crashing into gifted kid burnout. Their power is Cyrokinesis, which grows in power.
Sephora Noble: Sephora is one of the main student antagonists, girlfriend of Justus Ferro, and the sister of a crime boss. Her power is Mental Manipulation in terms of controlling others, and emotional manipulation.
Zitkala Nox: Zitkala Nox is a part of Sephora Noble's inner circle, kept close due to her knowledge of weapons and their creation. She has a massive crush on Cynthia Rosewell, and her power is Ferrokinesis (metal manipulation).
Seydou Raidan: Seydou is the childhood friend of Lillian Kainoa, and is sort of drifting through the hero course until Kanti resparks his love for music and performing. Now training to be an idol hero, he uses his electrokinesis in his performances.
Cynthia Rosewell: Cynthia is a the personal student of Griffin's mother, and wants to carry the legacy with pride. She has a weird mix of Red-Tailed Hawk and Cardinal Physiology, which gives her the features and abilities of the two types of birds.
Flint Smith: Flint Smith is from a household of two other brothers. His eldest brother runs his own trade guild, and his other brother is a doctor. He feels a bit of a bother to his brothers due to them achieving success so he bit off more then he could chew by becoming a heroics student. His power is Terrakinesis, rock manipulation.
Talon Streke: Talon's story is an entire plotpoint, so I'm just going to say she used to be a vigilante and is now a remedial student as Staris Academy. She has Blood Manipulation and Darkness Manipulation, both inherited from her shit parents. Adria Sangre is her original name before she was adopted by Nine Lives Heroine: Midnight.

A list of the origins, pronouns, and sexualities.
