     “Hm.” The note is hummed from the wyvern rider, brows raising slightly as his gaze shifts to follow Eion’s hand. To think that the dark knight would show a concern for his attire of all things, but Niklaus is no fool. Burgundy eye glances up to look at the man’s face again. That look… he’s more than accustomed to it by now.

     It’s a stare more than anything.

     “No,” And there’s a gentle twitch of the wyvern knight’s lip, gloved fingers reaching to take hold of Eion’s wrist. To cradle it in his hand before he’s drawing the man closer and letting his palm press against bare flesh, “If anything, I welcome the challenge. Consider it a temptation… I want them to come after my heart. To claim it as their own, and know they struck me down.” And there’s a soft chuckle in his throat, single eye falling half lidded.

     “If they can focus long enough to take aim, that is.”

" nobu rubbed the back of his neck, surprisingly seeming a tad nervous. he quickly grabbed evander's hand and placed a small wooden box in it. inside was a small wooden charm, a drawing of a wolf in the mountains etched into it, along with a small jar filled with candies shaped like little stars. " my sis makes charms for the shrine in our village and i thought you'd might like this one... happy birthday! "

     There’s that telltale word called out to him, that familiar voice of the ninja making the cavalier turn his head slightly in question. Surprising, he didn’t think his birthday would really garner attention, yet he’s being proved wrong by Nobu pressing a wooden box in his hand. There’s curiosity that wells in the hybrid’s stomach, brows raising as he takes to opening the box and staring at the contents inside. Part of his lip twitches upwards in a smile, and he can feel tears wanting to well in his eyes but he can’t let himself cry ( curse his strong emotions ). 

     “I…” He starts, lip staying lifted awkwardly as he lets fingers touch against the wood charm, tracing the design in it before he’s lifting his hand up to cover over his mouth. Sheer joy spreads through him and he’s trying his hardest to keep from crying, a small sound of happiness escaping him.

     “Thank you, Nobu.”

Corduroy would shoot Linen a questioning glance, curious as to how a garou could live on their own. Not that it wasn’t possible, it certainly was, but things were much easier with more garous around you. Not to mention that they acted as a family to you, whether you were related or not. He had to guess that she also didn’t have strong family connections growing up, but he didn’t want to assume anything. Still, he was definitely intrigued by her situation.

General Appearance: somewhat tall, but not particularly towering. has short black hair that always appears messy no matter how much he tries to fix it. has obvious muscles in his torso and arms, though he doesn’t work out much. has a triangular face and always seems serious even when he isn’t.

Personality: he usually keeps to himself, and doesn’t avoids socializing when he can. he is fairly blunt, though, and has no problem confronting friends about what he thinks they’re doing wrong. despite saying otherwise, he actually craves physical touch and thrives under compliments. has secretly low self esteem, though he tries to ignore it.
