To any whome it may concern; I am very saddned to announce that Ginger passed away earlier today. Thank you so much for holding her in your thoughts and prayers until now.
While we made some initial progress with her health after finding and rescuing her, the severity of her dysplasia and the time she had spent immobile in the cold led to bowel issues that became quickly critical over the last couple of days—none of which was helped at all by the stress or the gravel she ingested after being abandoned.
Unfortunately, right when we most needed to get veterinary assistance, the weather completely prevented us from seeing the people we had an established treatment plan with. We were going to have to wait another two days to get her seen, which was really distressing, given her rapidly mounting pain. All I could do was pray to my Witch Mother (who oversees death, healing, and family ties).
At the very last second, though, a vet from out of town was able to be contacted, and she changed her plans so she could come to the nearest Humane Society with just enough time for me to reach her. Unfortunately, she didn't believe there was anything else that could be done for Ginger at this point, beyond compassionate euthanasia. At the very least, however, the timing ended up being exactly right for both my husband and my mother-in-law to come during their lunch breaks and send her off lovingly with me. Together, we held her and massaged her, and I whispered a death croon in her ear as she sank into a final rest. We we all wept for the path she came to us on, but we rejoiced for the chance we've had to offer her comfort, love, and companionship over the last week. Despite everything, she had many moments of peace and connection with us, which I hope and believe improved her remaining time.
I really wanted to be able to carry out the funerary rites we normally do, as a final respect for her—which includes cleaning anointing the body and then adorning the dead with local flora for a final mourning portrait—but the harsh weather and frozen ground made a burial exceedingly unrealistic. So, in the end, I took her body to a funeral home that was willing to cremate her. It was upon arriving there that I discovered a patch of white Hellebore nearby, which struck me as auspicious, given their association with death in general, and with my Witch Mother in particular. As such, I plucked a single blossom and used it to take a makeshift mourning portrait, then took the flower home with me to incorporate in a ritual send-off for her spirit, along with a fumigation of Benzoin and a dish of treats she especially enjoyed.
May the Quietus embrace you with all of the kindness and tenderness you deserve, dear Ginger. ♡

I don't post about my actual practice very much at all do I? What a wonderful opportunity to correct this.
As for my qualifications, I've been in and out of this stuff since I was 9 and I'm on my third decade here on this big blue ball so you do the math.
Working: A touch of your everyday augery, spirit bribing and luck making. Maintaining my morning prayers and Saturday offerings to The Dead, my monthly devotionals/auto sacrifice to my patron. And as always - I am on my Hedge Crossing/entheogenic bullshit.
Researching: I can't read just one thing at a time. Most recently I was looking into the concept of magical alphabets, but a close friend asking me about a few occulty things got me dusting off my Agrippa and planetary studies again. Looking into local flora and the folklore thereof a little more deeply; there are so many plants I could spot from yards away but feel I know so little about and I want to try to correct this.
Crafting: Not much that needs airing out like soppy wet laundry, but I am caring for some herbal propagations that may or may not see use in a variety of teas, spells or bundles for fumigation (cinnamon basil, not being to my particular palate, sees very little culinary use in my household but it's marvelously Jovial and smells like heaven). I also have a massive swack of dried yarrow and wormwood that needs garbling and storing at some point.
This is going to make me sound like a cantankerous old bitch, but meh, I'm gonna say it anyway.
Witchcraft is too commercialised nowadays.
It's great to see so many witchcraft books and supplies available. I can walk into kmart or big w and find witchcraft books, tarot cards, and crystals now.
The problem, though, is that everything that's readily available to the masses (i.e. the first thing witchlings may interact with) is all so watered down to be socially acceptable that it gives a warped view to new practitioners while being simultaneously useless to experienced practitioners.
As much as I love how personalised the craft is, I genuinely wish more experienced witches published their personal grimoires and gnosis. I would love to see what others are working on/what works for them.
So here's my plea: if you're an experienced witch (I.e. practising for over 5 years and working your own path), please share a little titbit of what you're currently working/researching/crafting.

The Importance Of Shipping Container Fumigation
When it comes to importing and exporting in Australia, the transportation of goods via shipping containers is the backbone of commerce. However, amidst the vast volumes of cargo exchanged across borders, there exists a hidden threat, which is the potential introduction and spread of pests and diseases. For this, shipping container fumigation Gold Coast is a practice used in safeguarding trade by mitigating the risk of pest infestations. Through collaboration, innovation, and adherence to best practices, stakeholders can ensure the safe and sustainable exchange of goods across borders.
Understanding the Threat
The movement of goods via shipping containers facilitates the dispersal of pests such as insects, rodents, and pathogens. These stowaways can hitchhike on cargo, find refuge within the confines of containers, and traverse places undetected. Once introduced into new environments, these pests pose threats to agriculture, public health, and ecosystems.
For example, insects and pathogens can hitch a ride on cargo and enter new environments where they may lack natural predators or controls. Invasive species can outcompete native flora and fauna, disrupting ecosystems and agricultural practices. Also, pests can transmit diseases to humans, livestock, and wildlife, leading to health crises and economic losses.
Biosecurity Measures
In response to the threat of pest invasions, countries have implemented stringent biosecurity measures to regulate the movement of goods. Shipping container fumigation emerges as a frontline defense strategy, targeting pests at their source before they have the chance to infiltrate new territories. By subjecting containers to fumigation treatments, authorities in Australia can effectively eradicate or neutralize pests; thus, preventing potential infestations upon arrival. This helps protect local agriculture and ecosystems as well as upholds international trade standards and agreements.
Preserving Food Safety
Beyond safeguarding agriculture and ecosystems, shipping container fumigation preserves food safety throughout the supply chain. Contaminated cargo can harbor harmful pathogens, toxins, or allergens, posing serious risks to consumers. Fumigation treatments serve as a preemptive measure to eliminate microbial contaminants and ensure that food products meet stringent safety and quality standards. Whether it is grains, fruits, or perishable goods, fumigation helps maintain the integrity of food shipments, protecting public health and consumer confidence.
Economic Stability
The economic repercussions of pest infestations extend far beyond the agricultural sector, impacting trade, commerce, and livelihoods. Pest outbreaks can trigger trade disruptions, resulting in delays, rejections, and costly quarantine measures. Also, the presence of pests can tarnish the reputation of exporting nations, leading to market restrictions and loss of consumer trust. By investing in shipping container fumigation, Australia can protect its economy from the financial fallout of pest-related incidents. Timely fumigation not only prevents cargo rejections and trade embargoes but also fosters smoother trade flows, bolstering economic stability and growth.
Environmental Considerations
While shipping container fumigation is crucial for pest control, it is essential to consider its environmental impact. Traditional fumigants have been phased out due to their ozone-depleting properties and harmful effects on human health. Consequently, the industry has shifted towards safer and more sustainable alternatives, including phosphine and sulfuryl fluoride. Moreover, advancements in fumigation technologies and practices aim to minimize chemical residues and emissions, reducing ecological footprints while ensuring effective pest management.

Treating Leucorrhoea naturally with Ayurveda
Leucorrhoea is the excessive white discharge that comes out through your vagina. In simple words, it is called vaginal discharge. It is prevalent and faced by many women regularly during ovulation. It turns out to be alarming when it starts discharging in a huge amount, smells foul or fishy, becomes sticky, or causes pain in the lower abdomen and lower back.
The vaginal discharge is categorized based on color and consistency.
Clear and watery – This is considered healthy.
White – This could happen at the beginning or end of the menstrual cycle. But if it appears with a foul smell, this could be an indication of a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy – This is a sign of ovulation.
Yellow or green – This is considered unhealthy, and one should seek immediate medical help.
You should opt for better treatment if you feel that the discharge is abnormal. Leucorrhoea is referred to in Ayurveda as Shwetapradara. The pictures above are documented in chronological order (aside from the title photo). I. A documentation in photograph of 5 paintings by the Filipino painter Botong Francisco with proper labeling and citation(s) according to the Harvard citation format and 2) a formal description of each of the 5 selected paintings. To describe, emphasize the beauty of the work(s).
1. Bayanihan
(Pinoy Art Hub, 2018)
Bayanihan by Carlos “Botong” Francisco exemplifies one of the famous cultures in the Philippines which is Bayanihan that has a root word of “Bayani” which simply means “Hero”. With this, this painting shows a hero to one another. During early times, people would carry houses to change places to relocate a neighbor because of a natural calamity or simply to move places. According to Pinoy Art Hub (2018), this is done by gathering enough people from the same neighborhood to carry a Bahay Kubo or a nipa hut.
Aside from this, they place bamboo poles lengthwise in order to carry the house and whoever helped during the process is called to be heroes to the society. This painting conveyed vivid colors to portray the colorful life and culture that the Philippines has. Emphasizing the size of Bahay Kubo lets the viewers know how hard it is for the people to carry. To show that there is Bayanihan, the painting shows numerous people that helped and to shows a neighborhood helping one another.
________________________________________________________________
2. Katipunan
(Deroca, 2015)
Katipunan by Carlos “Botong” Francisco exemplifies a historic revolutionary in the Philippines. As seen in the painting, it is Andres Bonifacio and his KKK members going into the revolution with the KKK flag. There are also women in the upper left corner that shows them treating their husbands from the revolution. Andres Bonifacio was holding an itak or a small sword and a gun on the other hand. While the other man was holding their choice of weapon.
There is a fire above the painting that shows the fiery revolution against the Spaniards. This painting shows an asymmetrical balance because Andres Bonifacio was only one emphasized and the other men were as almost the size of Andres Bonifacio to show who were the main people during the revolution. Aside from this, when you look at the painting the color of the KKK flag can be easily be spotted because of the darkness of the color red. This shows also a value of variety with its overlapping of objects and sizing.

3. The Martyrdom of Rizal
(Fabros, 2014)
The Martyrdom of Rizal Mural, completed in 1960, is one of Carlos “Botong” V. Francisco's most well-known works. He was proclaimed the Philippine National Artist for Visual Arts in 1973. Francisco is best known for his monumental murals portraying historical events in the Philippines. The mural portrays the execution of Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal on December 30, 1896, at Bagong Bayan (now Rizal Park). Fort Santiago commissioned the mural as part of the Rizal Shrine. Rizal's death was a momentous date in our nation as it culminated nationalism and some kind of social change or redemption in our societies as a community.
Jose Rizal's final moments before his execution are depicted in the painting in five (5) significant images: (1) The Trial of Rizal (2) Rizal's Last Farewell (also depicted in Rody Herrera's oil on canvas painting "Huling Paalam," which was awarded First Place in the Jose Rizal Centennial Painting Competition in 1961). (3) Rizal composed the farewell poem Mi Ultimo Adios (My Last Farewell) Rizal's Last Walk and Rizal's Execution in Bagumbayan are two of his most famous works.
________________________________________________________________
4. Magpupukot
(Pinoyartshub, 2018)
"Magpupukot,” which basically means to "Pulling in the Net," is one of Botong's most well-known works. The scene depicted in the painting shows a group of fishermen practically casting and dragging their nets in while sailing inside a small wooden kayak boat, obviously taking the opportunity to haul in the day's catch. As a result, it was thought to be inspired by his hometown of Angono, Rizal, where a fishing village was located near their home. Botong's favorite subjects to paint were the lives of the fisheries sector. The Filipino people's deeply held values and rituals have become a medium for him, allowing him to use his unique style to create new imagery.
This fascination with history piqued his interest in learning more about the Filipino past, which provided him with useful information. Warm tones are used in the drawing, giving it a pleasing saturation. His visual enactments honor his culture's creative origins, and his photographs are inspired by the Filipino people's zealous commitment and vibrant colors. _______________________________________________________________
5. The Progress of Medicine in the Philippines
(TravelswithCherie, 2018)
The Progress of Medicine in the Philippines is a set of four oil paintings on canvas commissioned for the main entrance hall of the Philippine General Hospital in Manila by Philippine National Artist Carlos V. Francisco in 1953. (Barns, 2016). The artworks were in "serious decay" at the turn of the century due to heat, humidity, dirt, dust, smoke, insect stains, grime, termites, and an oxidized synthetic resin used in an earlier restoration due to their location. These canvases have been restored three times, the most recent in 2006, with funding provided by the US Department of State's Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation. The paintings were loaned to the National Museum of the Philippines by PGH and the University of the Philippines in 2010, so they could be exhibited in a stable manner and properly preserved.
Predicated on our analysis, the first painting portrays a pre-colonial Philippines babaylan (female shaman) leading a healing ceremony with her hands raised. The villagers are assembled all around the sick man, led by their chief, and a fire is lit for the pig's sacrificial offering (lower right corner in foreground). The arrival of the Spaniards in the Philippines is depicted in the second painting, which features two monks. They are the painting's key figures. The third painting depicts a scene from the American Period in which two men hide under a plant to avoid being inoculated, while a group of men in the foreground gather dead rodents after fumigation. The fourth painting depicts the defining features of modern medicine, such as surgery, radiation, laboratory research, medical equipment, and hospitals. Botong uses common elements like flora and clouds to link the four tables. _______________________________________________________________ Source(s): Barns, J., (2016). Carlos V. My thoughts on Healin Good Precure.
I’m pretty much the same as everyone else that the designs and concept is pretty much generic and uninspiring. In the past few seasons of Precure there usually is some sort of twist and some callbacks to the older series fit in somewhere. In Hugtto Precure, some would argue there was too many callbacks and Star Twinkle Precure there were hardly any callbacks with exception of maybe a few power up attacks.
This...Good grief. Did they even try?! Everything from the designs to the concept just wreaks uninspiring. We’re back to saving another generic fairy world when before, there was some unique twists for a while. Mahou Tsukai, we had a world full of witches and even some based on actual Wiccan and other mythologies (be it a bit loosely). Hugtto was set in the future, Star Twinkle, we had each character from another planet and we also had a few more twists like there being a teal colored precure. Yes, Milky is teal. She’s not completely green. She has some blue tint to her, deal with it. Then you have of course the first biracial precure who has dark skin, Cure Soleil.
And yeah, let’s talk about the designs. Everyone is saying they’re a mix of all the old Precures combined and yeah, I’m with them on that too. I mean you can’t argue. The moment you see the hair of the pink one, you immediately think of Cure Flora and when you see the hair style of the blue one, you immediately think of Cure Marine and the yellow one you automatically think Honey and Pine! Shoot, her character is literally every yellow cure we’ve seen! She likes fashion. She has a quirky personality where she’s nice but suddenly just blurts out what she says on her mind and she’s eccentric and her family owns a vet clinic with a cafe, which I keep wondering if it’s really alright to have a place where sick and injured animals have to go, be in the same place where food and drink is served. I mean guess it’s like how hospitals have a food court I guess, but vet clinics are typically not that big. Least big enough to keep the clinic and cafe separate. I dunno, for me that seems like a major health hazard but heck with it. There are talking stuffed animals in this. I can’t moan about that too much.
The blue cure is naturally a big sister type and the pink cure is a clumsy but sweet protagonist that is always gonna do her best and has a happy go lucky attitude...ugh. Can we have another nerdy insecure girl? Please? Or a tomboy? There are others that can be good leaders that aren’t clumsy! We haven’t had a tomboy in like forever! I think the last tomboy protagonist was Suite Precure and that is gonna be 10 years old in 2021! Mix it up just a little, will you Toei!
The wands are another Sailor Moon Kaleidoscope wand that wasn’t that original design to begin with, but they seem to like reusing it even in series that are actually good! So yeah, I think the whole thing is pretty generic and basic. The fairies are forgettable looking and the whole thing looks more of a parody of Precure than an actual Precure series. Does that mean I think the whole series is gonna be like that?
Short answer, no. Yeah, as much as I and everyone else is hating on it, there is one thing that Precure has taught us and that as much as we judge on it and everyone is going to. It’s just how we are in nature. Opinions are like the holes we have (mouth, nose, butt, ect). We all have one and they can’t always stay close. We have to fumigate sometimes otherwise it eats us to our core. Anyway, Precure has always taught us that nothing is as it seems. This could be a good series that’s just hidden behind the generic outlook. For me, I always have a few doubtful reactions, shoot even outright blasting first responses to a new series especially when I really like the one currently running. Sometimes those reactions are justified and other times I get quite a bit of surprises.
Remember how everyone was excited when we first saw Kira Kira Precure A La Mode, with the cool animal designs? We saw the composer for the op and ed thinking we’d get some catchy tunes and then the series came out, a lot of folks started to hate it and even more as the series progressed? Same with Mahou Tsukai, which I like but will admit it does have some problems in terms of direction and story writing. Looks aren’t everything. Who knows? Maybe like Go Princess Precure, we could be looking at another masterpiece or maybe we’re right and looking at another Happiness Charge/Kira Kira disaster where everything is bland and predictable. Worse case scenario is that its like Doki Doki where I felt so bored watching it I barely remember watching it! I know I’m slamming on those series a lot. Again if you like them, more power to you. No hate towards you or your opinions of it. Those were series that just didn’t do it for me and I watched every series for Precuruary in February.
Another positive is while Latte is clearly a Puff lookalke, she’s cute and even though she’s technically a baby, she’s more so a puppy and I’m glad we’re off the hook for taking care of a baby in this series. I also like the fact the Queen of the fairy world is a dog. Like an actual dog. Not a human or anthro animal. An actual animal. That’s kind of a neat twist and the animation and scenery so far is kind of pretty. It’s not special but passable. Pretty typical of Precure but meh, it’s Precure. They’re not going to do anything major fantastic. They’re here to sell toys.Speaking of which, the designs of the items they have to collect look kinda cool. They put detail into those at least.
So yeah. I agree that it looks generic but as Precure has taught us is that sometimes there is a hidden genuine gem behind all that glitter and fru fru. Just gotta look a little deeper into the woods to find it.
Or it could be a pile of dog crap...

A Pesky Primer
We’ve worked hard to provide pest control Winnipeg can trust. The history of pest control is probably as long as the history of humans, and a lot of different techniques have been developed to limit the impact of pests on human activities. The ways of controlling pests differ based on the kinds of pest you’re looking to control, where they’re located, and what you’re trying to protect. To dive into all of this, it’s important to have an understanding of what pests are.
Pests are any species detrimental to humans. With this broad categorization, plants that we would call weeds can be considered pests, but there’s often a divide; detrimental flora are considered weeds, and detrimental fauna are pests. There are a lot of different factors that can make pests a nuisance, but there are generally three elements that impact the severity of pests: diet, reproduction and disease. Species that will eat any human food can be very harmful to a home, and those that eat specific foods can be harmful to agriculture and other resource gathering activities. Species that reproduce quickly spiral out of control rapidly. Species that carry disease are likely to cause widespread illness. Combine all three together and you have a very serious pest problem; mice in your home is one example of a pest that meets all three criteria.
There are a variety of methods for dealing with pests. The simplest one is tolerance; let the pests remain and suffer the consequences. While this is simple, it’s by no means recommended, as there can be severe and lasting consequences to the infestation. Deterrence and management are the two most commonly used techniques; quite simply, these techniques involve getting existing pests away from human activity, and creating barriers to new pests moving in. The most drastic form of pest management is eradication, which has fallen out of favour due to potential damages to the ecosystem; this involves systematically eliminating a pest species. There is still some potential for eliminating pests using widespread genetic alterations; check out this article on mosquitos and CRISPR for some of the potentially world-changing, ethically divisive work.
Options for pest management are varied, and depend on which pest is being controlled. For rodents, traps can be used in order to get rid of the pest without poisoning them, as poison traps can have unintended consequences. For insects, a variety of traps, including traps baited with pheromones, can be used. Larger-scale infestations may require fumigation, a practice in which the area is air-sealed and insecticides are applied.
Techniques for prevention depend on the area they’re being used; elevated rafters, sealed foodstuffs, and even sonic nets can be employed in order to reduce the impact of pests on your home or business. The use of preventive techniques varies pretty drastically depending on what we’re trying to protect. All this to say, if you’ve got pests you need to manage and deter, there’s pest control out there for you; we humans have been at this for millenia!

Hold on chaps, I’ve had an idea.
Today we are heading up the road to Colle del Nivolet at the head of the Nazionale del Gran Paradiso. The provincial road No. #50 was built between 1953 – 63 to service the hydroelectric plants of the Serru and del’Agneu reservoirs. The area between Valle Orco and Valsavarenche forms the heart of Gran Paradiso. It is characterised by precious and delicate ecosystems that are home to bogs, wetlands, rare flora, Ibex, Chamois, marmots, hare, snow vole, fox, ermine, bearded vulture and golden eagle.
A dead end at 2612m, Gironde Italia hill climb stage in 2019 and also famous as the location for the closing scene of The Italian Job, “Hold on chaps, I’ve had an idea”. Just across the border is Val D’Isere.
As we are going up we pass numerous cyclists also making the journey. These are not super-fit, elite cyclists, well not all of them. Rather, people of all shaped and sizes out for their Sunday ride out.
We make it safely up a down – there are always a few idiots taking it too fast and the corners too wide, invariably in their Audis and Mercs– the road is no more than one-and-a-half car widths wide with flimsy or non-existent barriers. At the bottom we stop for lunch and get chatting to Marco who is about to start the ride up. He is half way into a 1500km cycle challenge, totally unsupported and must carry everything he needs with him.
Through 20km of tunnels leading to the 11km Monte Bianco, Monte Blanc tunnel and we are in France and the first proper rain of the trip. It costs 30e to travel through the tunnel plus a similar amount at the first toll booth encountered in France. One ticket is rained on and doesn’t work, another blows away in the wind. I press the HELP button and shout and eventually the barrier comes up and I continue on my way. Phil assures me that the only benefit of bloody Brexit is that some UK based collection agency will no longer be able to ply its evil trade and collect unpaid tolls, speeding fines etc.
Haven’t seen Phil since Aosta (Italy) but somehow we manage to arrive at a service station just south of Dijon within ten minutes of each other. I’m aware of Phil’s presence before I catch sight of him and the reason why other customers are giving me a wide berth becomes apparent: sixteen days on the road in temps of 30+ have taken their toll. Sorry folks but we need baths, clean clothes, dry cleaners and fumigating.
This will be our last night on the road so we save the worst until last. The one night truck stop Fast Hotel Dijon Nord.[1] Rooms available by the hour – you get the picture. Checking in we are asked whether we want rooms overlooking the carpark (to keep an eye on our bikes) or the garden (wasteland). I fall asleep with a tepid Deliveroo curry on my chest watching French TV. Didn’t spill a drop.

Finding A Suitable Brush For Your Pet
Finding plastic free brushes for your pet can be a huge challenge. The durability of plastic is appealing, however during production may emit toxic chemicals into the environment.
A simple solution is to use plastic free brushes, made from bamboo. Unfortunately there are no brush makers in Australia, so it will be almost impossible to source an Australian made brush for your pet.
Bamboo is a great alternative to plastic brushes. Bamboo is strong and durable and visually pleasing and does not impact the environment. Bamboo is sustainable and every one of our brushes look unique due to crop variation.
Another great feature for eco friendly pet parents is our bamboo slicker brush, deshedding tool and two sided brushes are they are naturally fumigated by boiling them under high pressured water for a period of time. This means when the brushes enter Australia, they’re not required to be fumigated with a pesticide, as the boiling water eliminates pests. In order to protect Australian wildlife, cattle, pets and flora and fauna, customs fumigate all commercial wood products where pests can breed. This is not the case with our brushes as they’re naturally fumigated.
How does brushing benefit your pet’s health?
Regular brushing helps remove dead skin cells, removes dry skin, reduces shedding, deters matting, and distributes the natural oils on your dogs and cats skin. Regular brushing is essential and should be done once every couple of days for dogs. Non shedding dogs such as poodles and oodle dogs should be brushed every day to prevent matting, particularly when their coat is long. Brushing is not just about keeping the coat free from tangles. It also improves skin health and is a great way to bond with your dog and give them a special pampering session. I own a spoodle and I brush her in the evening during my downtime (most likely watching tv).
What brush do I need for my pet?
Let’s take a look at the 3 types of brushes in our range.
Slicker Brush
A slicker brush has sharp stainless steel angled bristles designed to cut through knots to help prevent them as well as preventing matting. The angled bristles mean the bristles do not pierce the skin or injure the body. Our slicker brush is an essential brush for any owner of a non shedding dog. This brush will also help reduce shedding.
Deshedding Tool
Our deshedding tool is designed to reduce pet hair in your home and suitable for short-haired, high shedding dogs and cats. The sturdy stainless steel blade effectively removes excess hair and reduces shedding. This stylish de-shedding tool is easy to use, has a comfortable, cushioned handle, and grown from naturally grown wild bamboo.
Two-Sided Brush
Our natural two-sided brush is an excellent choice for removing tangles. This stylish two-sided dog brush is easy to use, has a comfortable, cushioned handle, and is grown from naturally grown wild bamboo.Suitable for all ages and coat types.

What are the factors that affect the disinfection effect
The use of disinfected products should be reasonably diluted according to the properties of the object to be disinfected to achieve the purpose of disinfection and ensure safety during use. Disinfecting products can help people create a clean and hygienic living environment and reduce the invasion of germs, but we must master the correct method of use. Attention should also be paid to the factors affecting the disinfection effect:
①The concentration of the disinfection products used is proportional to the disinfection effect, and it needs to be used at the specified concentration, otherwise it will affect the disinfection effect.
② When disinfecting livestock and poultry, disinfectants with low irritation and low toxicity should be used. The nozzle sprays mist-like particles upwards. The diameter of the mist-like particles should be controlled within 80-120 microns and cannot directly face livestock and poultry. Spray the head of the product to prevent damage to the eyes of livestock and poultry. The livestock and poultry can be disinfected every 3 to 5 days according to specific conditions.
③ Disinfection of the environment and livestock and poultry houses. First, we need to clean, wash and remove feces and other organic dirt. The ceiling of livestock and poultry houses should also be cleaned to remove dust and cobwebs, otherwise the effect of disinfection products will be affected.
④ When disinfecting livestock and poultry drinking water, do not arbitrarily increase the concentration of disinfectant products in the water, or allow livestock and poultry to drink the potion for a long time, otherwise it may cause acute poisoning, and may kill or inhibit the poisoning. The normal flora in the intestine will affect livestock and poultry. health. Manufacturers of medical disinfection products have learned that the commonly used drinking water disinfectants in production are mainly chlorine preparations, iodine preparations and quaternary ammonium salts.
⑤Medical disinfection product manufacturers suggest that the temperature of the medicine is also proportional to the effect of the disinfection product. Such as hot alkaline water. When using formalin heating fumigation and disinfection, it is necessary to close the doors and windows without poultry and poultry, seal the gap, and continue fumigation for 8-10 hours without affecting the transfer of the group, and then open the doors and windows to discharge the remaining chemical gas. Transfer to livestock and poultry.
