So while watching the Mad Trigger Crew vs Fling Posse trailer, I wanted to make a Rio vs Dice edit using the visuals.

I ended up doing it for all the 2nd DRB trailers because that slash in the border is perfect for it. The only issue is that most of the time they're smack bam in the middle so I edited it a little more than I originally wanted to.

Also, I ended up doing two versions for Matenrou & Bad Ass Temple, because I wanted it to match their verses and the order they would usually rap in.

And yes, you can use these just please please credit me as the one who did the edits, my brain doesn't do well with confrontation.

And after two battles that messed with our emotions heavily, we now reach the last that will also most likely mess with us

Today. Last day of the first battles in the 2nd DRB and oh lord. This one was actually really hard for me to choose who I wanted to see win cause I love both of these divisions ;-; It’s easier before with my choices cause BB!!! is my favorite division and I would love to see them win and BAT is new, I love Kuko, and also MTR already won ^^; But I think I’m rooting for FP to win. I love Mad Trigger Crew I swear (like dude I’m a major Samatoki simp and I love his seiyuu I s2g), but I think FP would be hella interesting to see win (Also we love Dice in this household, that dumb b*tch I love him)

Also I’m once again the odd one out of my friends cause they’re rooting for MTC and I’m the only one rooting for FP :,) It be like that sometimes

What divisions would you like to see go against each other, re-matches included, in future drbs?

In no particular order:

Buster Bros vs Dotsuitare Hompo, but this time it's to show Rei how much each of the BBs have grown as individuals AND to show how much DH has grown as a team

Buster Bros vs Mad Trigger Crew, but with a friendly rivalry feeling this time (with the exception of Juuto and Saburou, who should probably be paired up against each other so they can go off on one another in the corner while everyone else dukes it out more or less amicably)

Buster Bros vs Bad Ass Temple, so that Ichirou and Kuukou can be back on their bullshit (plus Saburou and Hitoya can tussle it out - Saburou's really good at this whole picking fights with adults thing) while Juushi and Jirou become friends or something

Mad Trigger Crew vs Dotsuitare Hompo, because I need more of the Sasara and Samatoki dynamic. I'd also love to see what Juuto and Rei make of each other, and I feel like Riou would try to mother hen nervous Roshou in a similar fashion to how he did in season 1 with Doppo

Fling Posse vs Matenrou, because both teams are so freaking dramatic that I think another one-on-one rematch would make something explode. Possibly me. I want to see how Kiiko Jyo (FP/M+ artist) would draw it, because she'd manage to unlock new emotions no human has ever felt before, I'm sure.

Fling Posse vs Dotsuitare Hompo, because I think Sasara deserves a chance to kick Ramuda's ass, and I think it's high time Gentarou meets his "editor"

Fling Posse vs Bad Ass Temple for largely the same reason as above

Dotsuitare Hompo vs Bad Ass Temple because I love, love, love the odd friendship/rivalry Sasara and Kuukou have, and I think this could be one of the greatest clown division vs clown division matchups known to man

HypMic 5th INTERNATIONAL POLL (September 2021) Part 3: Production and the Future of HypMic

Thank you for your participation! These are the final results for the 5th Hypnosis Microphone International Poll. And just before the 2nd DRB results - will these be a good estimate for the results we’ll see?

PREFACE

The data collection for this poll received 1,107 votes to give us an indication of the demographic of those who consume Hypnosis Mic. This poll was open to English speakers, and thus, results may be considerably Euro/American-centric. The word ‘international’ has been used to refer to how fans are from many places around the world, but the poll may also refer to this group as ‘English-speaking’ etc. In future, we may attempt to broaden language-scope such as with Spanish and Portuguese fandom. Due to the lack of Japanese responses this time (276), we will be posting limited Japanese results for comparison.

This poll received the most activity through Twitter, given that the series is most active on that platform. The poll was also posted on Tumblr, Facebook and the HypMic wiki. Commentary has been given on sections of the poll. These results will be available in full on from this account. The poll was conducted from September 2021 to October 2021. This poll is UNOFFICIAL and none of the composers of this poll have any relation to King Records whatsoever.

PART 5: PRODUCTION

This section is to analyse people’s ideas around the project’s production as well as their consumption of hip hop artists in general. Only the top 10 of each category were listed.
