being scolded was a drag, having to listen to the voices scolding him was a drag ━any word barely dismissed with a nod and an eyeroll as he really wasn’t in the mood for engaging in fights with the other people of the parlor who seemed to love treating him like he didn’t know his ass was always on the line. well shit, he knew and he knew well the risks he was bringing to the business with being pretty much illegal, blame it on his eyes not being functional enough to grant him entrance to medical school ━he’d snap.

but he never does, in the end. because he knew it’s useless arguing. he’d utter apologies because that’s what they wanted to hear. he’d propose himself for cleanups because that’s the type of punishment they’d throw at him to show him who’s boss ━but they were no bosses of his, only his uncle━ and he’d roll his eyes at them all when no one’s watching, sitting on the reception’s desk and playing with what he had found when cleaning the studio after the events of the night before.
