I have a vague memory of someone asking me for this bio code at one point, and since I'm redoing my bios and won't be using this anymore myself, here it is as free-use for everyone <3

Heya, I've been coming back to Flight Rising after a few years of being inactive, and now I wanna make little fun assets for dragon/profile bios! Might also do some other stuff like recolors. I'll update this post as I make 'em

I spent a good amount of hours working on this trip/advisor mimicking dragon bio template. link to my f2u asset thread, there's an auto-coding google sheet linked from there.

I will probably be updating this thread as I go, and make one big masterpost at the end of it :) I plan on doing ALL breeds, so if one breed isn't made yet, it will be done later!

These are free to use! Though I ask that you please do not remove my ID number from them! You're free to edit them to fit your dragons, and if you edit the ancient bases with linebreaking terts, and want to make them available for other people to use, please let me know!!

Flight Rising Dragon Bio Generator!

a.k.a. i tell you about my insomnia (and probably ADHD) fueled programming

i wanted to show this off because i am so excited over it, and like, weirdly proud of myself (i don't make stuff very often!! this is a rare gem). but! i made this cool little tool for myself to help me create bios for my dragons in flight rising!

it's very heavily based on a template made by AbyssalRising (not sure of their whereabouts now), and uses assets by @drytil (the emblem by the name, as well as the statue to the left of the quote). i've been using that template for a long time and slowly tweaking it to my tastes. you can see the original by clicking Abyssal's name above, but for a long time I used this variant I setup:

as previously stated i had bad insomnia and could not sleep at all so instead i learned python's tkinter library and taught myself to create a UI from scratch. two days later (i got sleep don't worry) and this is the final result!

it's still really simple, and has some bugs (oops no scrollbar on the preview, so if the bio is too big it just cuts off), but i'm actually really proud of making something, both for the "oh my gods i had fun learning something new" and "this will actually enable me to create stories for my dragons because editing the BBCode was a big thing holding me back (it's tedious)"

anyway i just wanted to yell about this into the void - i don't have the code posted anywhere but if anyone wanted it i'd be happy to share the source python or make an executable for them (i'd probably just yeet this stuff into github so that the source is visible and a release would be easy to download). but, i doubt there will be any interest in my little corner of the internet, so i'm not gonna bother unless someone explicitly asks lmao.

Lair Location Banners and Dividers - Post 1 of 5

Decided to do a set of banners and dividers based on the lair location banner images that would match in style my sets of Coliseum Dividers and Scene Dividers. As new lair location banners get added to Flight Rising, they’ll get added to this set of photosets.

When linking from these images, make sure you’ve clicked on an image in the photoset and are doing your right click -> copy image link from the full size (640 pixel width) images, not from the downsized dashboard images. You may also need to edit the extension from .pnj to .png for linked images to appear correctly. You are also welcome to copy these images and host them somewhere else if you find that more convenient. When attributing these images (not required) please link back to the first post.
