You breathed heavily, your eyelids heavy as you continued to stare at Heeseung, who layed below you. The room was dimly lit, the only light source coming from the lamp on your study table. You can't even explain how you got into this situation with Heeseung, your best friend — how you were sitting on Heeseung's lap, him being shirtless and just vaping in front of you. Though you've always known that he was quite literally the opposite of you, you and him remained as close friends regardless, and today you were seeing him in a different way.

Your chest moved rapidly, a new gush of unfamiliar feelings taking over you as you observed him taking another puff from his vape device. He exhaled and blew the air away from you, hitting the back of his head against the headboard afterwards, staring at you.

A strong strawberry scent took over the room, the sweetness making you want to melt into him. Despite the fact that he was the only one that was shirtless and that you were hovering over him, you still felt vulnerable, feeling unsure as to what to do next and anxious that you might fuck things up somehow.

He smirked seeing the state you were in, clearly enjoying the view of you. He was aware about how you were so naive and pure — you haven't kissed, smoked, vaped, or even fucked — and Heeseung just wanted to be there to open the new world to you. He wanted to check off every single thing off from the list, since he knew best how untouched you were. He wouldn't admit it, but he wanted to corrupt you.

He blew air up to his forehead, lifting the bangs away and he threw his head back, making himself more comfortable and showing his featuers off even more, especially his prominent Adam's apple and collarbone.

You couldn't explain it, but everything about him just felt so.. hot at the moment. You've never felt this way for anyone, but the way he was looking at you with such predator gaze, the way his exposed chest was moving up and down, the way he held his vape with his thumb and middle finger, his collarbone and neck, and even more.

"Say, you haven't fucked around nicotone like at all, right?" Heeseung questioned, his voice raspy after taking a huff of his strawberry-flavoured vape.

You shook your head and bit your lip, almost feeling humiliated that you haven't tried anything at all, and that for your entire life, you've stayed away from these things. You looked down, not wanting to meet his gaze, overthinking that he probably thought you were a loser.

He lifted your chin up with his finger, interlocking eyes with yours once again and he smirked, "Wanna take a step into my world?".

Your heart immediately skipped a beat, feeling thrilled at the thought of doing something you've always strayed away from. You stuttered, "O-okay".

He turned his neck downwards to look at you properly before flicking his middle and ring finger, gesturing for you to lean closer to him. You were already sitting on his lap as he layed down, and the closeness and warmth was driving you wild. You'd never experienced something like this before, only simple hand-holding and cheek kisses.

"I won't bite," he reassured, his voice still sounding dark, but you finally started to lean closer to him. Your hands inevitably rested on his bare chest, his chest muscles and abs feeling hard and the way he hitched his breath when you touched him didn't go unnoticed.

You were finally leaning closer to him, your hair falling forward as he nodded in approval, "Want a taste of my vape? Strawberry flavour, you'll like it". You nodded and he chuckled, bringing the vape to his mouth and taking another huff, making you slightly confused. Was he not going to hand the vape over to you?

You wanted to ask until you confirmed that he wasn't. He grabbed the front of your shirt to pull you even closer, his eyelids halfway open as he started to blow the air into your mouth. You immediately inhaled the air, tasting the sweetness of the air and suddenly feeling hot as your heart rate starts to increase.

You only stared at his lips as he blowed the vape air into your mouth, only wishing it was on yours, and he immediately noticed, immediately closing the gap between both of your mouths and smirking as he could feel you immediately snap back to reality from the sudden kiss.

He immediately pulled back, his thoughts feeling hazy as he is met with your half-fucked up face, chuckling that you were already half-spent when you did practically nothing other than share a huff and kiss for a second. "Did I take your first kiss?" he genuinely questioned, observing as you recovered from the kiss and puff.

"You did," you remained quiet before continuing, "I expect you to take my second, third and more".

"Is that a challenge?" he raised his eyebrows, clearly liking your boldness and the idea of kissing you as many times as he wanted.

"Maybe it is? Maybe it isn't?" you shrugged.

His face immediately darkened, the smirk on his face growing deeper, "I never back down a challenge". He put his hand behind your head to push you closer to him, causing your lips to clash once again.

Not that I read mpreg all that often (not really my thing generally speaking) but I came across some "Sanji is pregnant" fics in the sanzo/zosan tag, and not nearly the same amount for Zoro. It got me thinking about the trope. I think the lack of Zoro fics here is a tragic oversight. I think we as a fandom are absolutely and tragically ignoring the potential comedy gold of Zoro being the one to be pregnant instead.

Because when people write Sanji, the general trend I'm seeing (upon scanning through some of the fics quickly) is that he's cautious about it. Conscientious, careful to make sure things are okay. Which - arguably I could see, Sanji is probably the more practical of the two (not by a whole lot but still)and he didn't have a good childhood. Sanji being pregnant is usually a fic about his heaps of parental issues, childhood trauma and angst - which is fun to read. It's good. It's amazing, even.

Zoro being pregnant is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT gonna be a COMEDY. We're talking about a man who once tried to fight Kuina holding like 20 bokkens. We're talking about a man who got stuck in wax and thought the reasonable solution was to cut off his legs.

The entire crew spends the next 9 months tearing their hair out, preventing Zoro from doing stupid shit (exhibit A: cutting off his own limbs). They spend the same amount of time trying to stop Luffy from gum-gum-grabbing Zoro and yeeting him anytime he needs to get them out of a sticky situation.

The crew (mostly Sanji) is on 24/7 prevent-zoro-from-drinking-alcohol duty (impossible). Chopper is constantly stressed in the later months cause no one puts it past Zoro to get lost somewhere, give birth out in the woods and come strolling back with a baby tucked under his arm. They have to start hiding Zoro's dumbbells.

Franky and Usopp design and build a nursery and spends the entire time suspiciously teary eyed. Sanji tries to pretend he's unaffected but spends an entire night creating a 9 month meal plan of all the nutrients Zoro and the baby are gonna need. Not even a day later, one of the crew finds him up at 2 am making a mountain of food because Zoro made the mistake of offhandedly mentioning he had particular pregnancy craving within earshot of Sanji. In the end Zoro has to sit on him to stop Sanji from running himself ragged.

Robin keeps spouting morbid childbirth facts and quotes from parental advice books in equal measure. Nami keeps going on shopping sprees for cute baby clothes and adding the cost of them to Zoro's debt. Brook keeps writing lullabies and trying to sing them to Zoro's stomach. Zoro 100% uses his pregnancy belly as an excuse to walk around without a shirt 24/7 without getting nagged.

Somehow word gets out that the famous pirate hunter Zoro is pregnant, and at the next big fight with the Marines, half the soldiers refuse to fight him and instead start telling him to sit down, take it easy, shouting advice at him etc. Etc. Zoro loses his shit a little bit and cuts their boat in half.

Mihawk, upon finding out, tells Zoro in no uncertain terms that that is his grandchild and he's expecting them to visit so he can meet the baby when they're born. Zoro vehemently denies that Mihawk is his father (he is). Zeff upon finding out, is almost as bad as Sanji when it comes to being a mother hen. Perona buys even more baby clothes for the baby. She buys one singular shirt for Zoro as a joke, and it coincidentally happens to be the exact same brand of "mama" crop top he was forced to wear in that one filler episode. Zoro tries to chuck it into the ocean (he fails).

I'm essentially saying it would be absolute chaos, and it would be the funniest thing I've ever read. 9 months of Marimo wrangling. Can you imagine the look on Zoro's face if one of the opponents he was fighting were to tell him that he's "glowing"?

PLEASE, I would actually wheeze myself to death. The best part is you can still have plenty of Sanji angst. He still has parental issues except now they're flavoured with "I'm not ready to be a father" and "I'm terrified I'm gonna become my biological sperm donor" and "please don't die because of childbirth complications, that happened to my mother(sort of, I know she died after but it kinda counts), and I can't handle that happening again to you". Lots of cute/tender moments of Zoro comforting and reassuring Sanji. We can even have Zoro angst. He probably views protecting his crew as the one and only job he's good for (not true but that's probably what he thinks). Not being able to fulfill that is probably not helping his self esteem, and that sense of uselessness warring with his need to protect the baby - but the contradictory thing here is that to protect the baby he HAS to sit back and let other people do that FOR him. That plus all the other restrictions, people treating him differently, but him at the same time refusing to view his own child as a weakness. Imagine the havoc that would wreak. Oh my god.

baking with Art fluff pretti pretti pleeeaseee?

Kitchen is Art's second home, I'm convinced. He's been helping his grandma bake pies and cakes ever since he can remember. ☹️ I think he's a bit too stressed when the two of you are finally doing something together, afraid that he's gonna messed up and make himself look like an idiot. But at the same time, wants to prove that boys are equally as good, if not better, than women are at baking.

He has the whole gear prepared, all the ingredients (opting for fresh berries instead of frozen), the recipe studied like the back of his hand. Guides you through, even though it's a fairly simple pie you're making.

"You can chop the strawberries, baby, mhm, little cubes like this, yeah."

You can see the the beads of sweat collecting on his forehead and he almost gets flour and sugar mixed up at one point.

"Hey, relax. It's just a pie," you giggle, grabbing one of his hands tenderly. Art shivers, making you giggle. You reach in and place one strawberry into his mouth.

He chews onto the strawberry, gazing you in the eyes, the little green leaf peaking out from between his plush lips. You lean in and kiss him gently, taking the green part between your teeth and pulling it out. Art literally gasps at your sudden gesture.

"I just want it to taste good," he admits bashfully, picking the flour from behind his fingernails.

So you hug him and press a thousand strawberry flavoued kisses to his cheeks. His face is so red and glowy, you begin feeling more hungry for him than the pie. He's such a sweet little treat, sweeter than any pastries in the world.

The baking suddenly turns into a heavy make out session, flour imprints of Art's palm all over your back, the strawberry seeds sitting his cheeks like little freckles. It takes a lot to finish preparing the pie and let's just say the crust is all burnt as you run all naked to pull it out of the oven.

Spicy Chili Crisp Popcorn has been one of my favourite homemade popcorn flavours since I found out about it ("pepcorn" by Brian David Gilbert).

After trying Gilbert's method, I made a few changes. Here's what I do:

Blend the Spicy Chili Crisp (I use an immersion blender and a jar that juuust fits it)

Pop in a wok: use a lid with a tea towel to absorb condensed steam that runs down the lid back toward the wok

Transfer the hot popcorn to a huge metal strainer (allow the steam to escape, and let the popcorn cool a bit). I also use this time to prepare my toppings because usually I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

Transfer cooled popcorn to a large vessel (large enough for mixing).

Drizzle a bit of chili oil (and other seasonings* if using), and mix.

Taste and repeat Step 5 until desired flavour intensity

Other ingredients I usually add:

Powdered salt (theatre salt)

Powdered prickly ash (Sichuan peppercorn)

Garlic powder

Powdered sugar (either storebought icing sugar, or normal sugar just run through a blender to make it finer)

I've been making chili garlic popcorn using Spicy Chili Crisp, but I wondered how it would turn out if I used my homemade chili oil.

My homemade chili oil is milder than SCC, doesn't contain salt or sugar, and doesn't have crunchy soybeans. The flavours are more subtle and aromatic (cinnamon, anise, all the lovely citrusy and floral notes from prickly ash) and definitely more numbing than SCC.

I put some homemade chili oil in the blender with some salt, sugar, and garlic powder. Then I made a batch of popcorn using the same method as before, but using my homemade oil. After tasting, I felt it needed a bit more something. In the pantry I had a jar of shichimi togarashi seasoning blend, so I gave that a try. The orange zest really tied it all together, and I was surprised at how different a beast this popcorn was!

My partner's coworkers often end up as guinea pigs for my kitchen experiments, so I thought I'd ask them for feedback in a more rigorous way, and created a little questionnaire they could fill out.

POPCORN FLAVOUR SURVEY Version A (2/5 spiciness) Features Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chili Crisp. Hotter spiciness level. More garlicky, more savoury. (Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chili Crisp Ingredients: Soybean Oil, Chili, Onion, Fermented Soybean (Soybean, Water), Monosodium Glutamate, Salt, Sugar, Pepper Powder, Sulfur Dioxide, Sodium Sulfite) Version B (1/5 spiciness) Features homemade chili oil, prickly ash (Sichuan peppercorn, gives numbing sensation), and orange zest. More sweet and aromatic than Version A. Milder. Uses Shichimi Togarashi seasoning blend. (Shichimi Togarashi Ingredients: Red Chili Flakes, Sea Salt, Szechuan Peppercorns, Black sesame Seeds, White Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds, Orange Zest, Wasabi powder, Nori Seaweed Flakes. May Contain: wheat)

I was honestly kind of shocked by the results. There was a definitive preference--which in retrospect, shouldn't have surprised me because most of his coworkers have low spiciness tolerance.

packs more of a punch and the spiciness builds as you keep eating. I enjoy it also. But prefer the nuance of B.
