A Sincere Goodbye

Thinking about it now, I do feel like I should at least send off my time in this community with a more heartfelt message, rather than bitterly declaring my works to be done for and leaving it at that.

Act I - Recollection

I remember discovering this webcomic for the first time in my life. I was just playing Friday Night Bloxxin' (fuck funky friday) and thought Uni's icon looked cool. One day I wanted to do a smidge of research, and found the webcomic. I was sucked into a rabbit hole of color and medical adventure quickly after.

I remember it only being a few weeks after I joined the community, finding that I was just in time for Volume 4's countdown. I spectated every post carefully in anticipation. And although admittedly the volume was... alright, I won't forget the interactions I had with the community either, nor the fun of being walked through each update. I know most people would probably disagree with me when I say this, but it was honestly more fun than binging 3 volumes of content in the span of only a single day.

Every day I woke up in this community was at least somewhat memorable, and even with all of these critic blogs challenging my perception of the comic, I still held on. But now, I must let go.

Act II - Remorse

Even though I loved the experience this community gave me, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I fucking sucked.

If you recognize this, you might already know what I'm talking about. And no, I'm not anyone in this screenshot. (If you really need to know, my display name was something like ENTITY, my server nickname might have been different as well but idk) I only came into the picture a few minutes (or maybe an hour) after what happened.

Regardless of how shitty their actions were, I was a fool to lash out at them. I was acting like one of those "sigma skibidi" fartassers who thought it was "cool" to call people cringe for no reason. Inevitably, my childlike behavior drove me out of the server.

I'll admit that this scared me away from ever joining most other Sparklecare-related servers, simply because I feared (and frankly still fear) confrontation. I only felt comfortable with showing my (figurative) face around two really small ones after this.

There's maybe a few other moments where I fucked up, such as me joking about AI imagery (I was yet to be enlightened about it being art theft and all) or making some shitty copypasta that embarrassed basically every Sparklecare fan that was in the FlashThemes server.

I do not just feel sad because I have to let go of this webcomic and its fandom, I also feel remorse, for I was childish with every move I made. I should have known better. I also feel sorry because now I know time is up for me to even be able to right all these wrongs.

Act III - Conclusion

I will most certainly miss every last one of you, and I'm sorry I couldn't have known better previously; similarly, I am sorry that, as much as I want to remember all of you, I likely will simply forget in a few years.

I first was thinking about removing this post but now I shall not thanks to his cowardice. He could have simply told me: "I don't wanna be associated with GoAnimate/FlashThemes anymore, can you please remove it?" and I would've done exactly that. But no. Well, he has shown a perfect example how not to act. Please don't be that way.

there is something really interesting about how goanimaters will use what they have when it comes to how limited the actual software is. like maybe flashthemes and wrapper help w/ that but b4 that the way people would make wings back then Showed just how limited it could be
