He's probably not just running by, he's probably using relative time to assess the situation for danger every single time he checks up on them. He's just hanging out while time is frozen around him seeing what's up.

And now I'm thinking, his kids have superspeed too. So are Irey and Jai just like "Oh hey there's Dad again staring at me through the classroom window like he does every ten minutes on the dot." Because they would definitely be able to see him even if he was just a blur to them. Or at the very least, they'd be able to sense his speedforce energy. They sensed it when he was a couple dimensions away completely unprompted, they'd be able to sense him hanging outside their classroom.
