EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHILL THE FUCK OUT. It's actually *insane* how much negativity there is. "Oh new ep sucked and was so "MLP power of friendship" okay cool good for you except you bitched about a possibly tragic ending before so I don't wanna hear it! "Uzi is so cringe!" cool good for you, that's been the entire show (in the most positive way possible) and maybe she's just not for you. "Oh nuzi was just fanservice" if you believe that I'm going to need to understand show was pre-written, nothing changed besides the vampire storyline for Disassembly Drones. You don't ship it? Good for you! Don't harass others and *certainly don't fucking doxx liam TWICE.* "Oh i hate envy and they can't ship it anymore it's not canon" that's the beauty of shipping, you can ship whatever you want!! (Within reason ofc) and don't harass those who do ship it. if they aren't going after others, don't go after them.

The toxic shippers need to CHILL the fuck out, and this is coming from a SUPER big Nuzi shipper. I am over the moon that they're canon, but both sides fucking SUCK. you all constantly make the other out to be the worse when you both equally suck. Instead of dedicating your life to hating on fictional robots holding hands, you're gonna need to go touch grass and maybe go hold hands with a ship you hate. I've gotten *death threats* for the record, for shipping Nuzi, told it was delusional and weird etc etc, so I'm coming from a place of experience.

My envy friend? Gotten told off and shit for shipping envy. It's literally a two way battle y'all, you all just don't *want* to see the other side.

If a ship of two robots that is LEGAL bothers you that much, you need to get the fuck off the internet and go to therapy.

So fun story about this actually, I was with a friend at a convention, it's the last day and we're standing in a massive group of cosplayers. We're all waiting to cross the street to leave, when suddenly, back to fucking back we see TWO cybertrucks drive by. So you'd just look over to see Hatsune Miku, a bunch of random anime people, and Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss characters screaming and pointing aggressively at these goofy ass trucks while they drove by.

Seeing a cyber truck in person is truly a bonding experience. Someone parked one of those monstrosities in a no parking zone at work and me and my coworkers gathered like this

aiden and ashlyn are first bc they're who i understand the most, then them as a duo/ship/just friendship in general

Forever thinking about how *tragic* Aiden as a character is, He constantly is hiding everything about himself, clearly not pleased with himself in any sorts of the manner. He threw himself into danger without a second thought and despite getting crushed by a ceiling he completely brushes off the adults. He's self-destructive, but cares so much about the others too. I see so many people say he doesn't or that it's just obsession with Ashlyn but it's grown from that. Yeah he clearly cares so so much about Ashlyn, but he cares about the others just as much. He just doesn't care about himself, barely batting an eye at his own death.

I think about this a lot, almost everything is either hated by people to the point that they'll go on OTHER people's accounts and hate on them. I think it is the strangest thing, a child is having fun, whether it be enjoying a show or book or just doing...child things and all the comments will be absolutely horrific or just being rude in general. That's like going into someone's house and telling them how to arrange *their* shoes, or *their* room. It's not your house, leave. In this case, it's not your account, block and move on if it really bothers you so much you have to leave a comment.

IT'S MY TIME. It was a MAJOR mix of both. Remember, Aiden often moved around and he was well aware of how little time he had in one spot, so he had little time to make friends. So his first instinct is to push everything, to shove his way into their lives before he has to leave.

It's this same mentality with Ashlyn. He very clearly knows it annoys her considering the looks he gives, almost amused in a sense. (We KNOW this just from these panels:

He's well aware she's uncomfortable, but ignores it and continues pushing because that's what he's always done. He brushes off her not wanting to talk with "You're just shy right? It's alright, I'm good at talking so it'll be fine."

He has a whole laughing fit at her bolting the first chance she gets. So yes, he's well aware he's pushing her. (Episode 4)

HOWEVER at the same time, he sometimes doesn't even notice. He practically follows her like a lost dog in episode 7. We also know Aiden naturally is very grabby/touchy. Just in episode 1 Aiden is gripping onto Ashlyn for dear life when the phantom is coming closer. He also has almost no hesitation grabbing said phantoms, swinging it around in episode 2! He's impulsive and does shit without thinking, so he just seems to grab things to keep his hands busy.

While everyone is sorta freaked out by the phantoms, and Aiden is sorta too, his almost first reaction is to laugh it off. The second is amusment.

(Episode 14) He's clearly amused, delighted at the prospect of hurting these things. He grabbed it no hesitation. This continues to display both his concerning behaviors and him grabbing onto things.

Again, he's impulsive and just generally grabby.

He doesn't seem to notice either, grabbing Ashlyn when he got super excited.

(Episode 28)

It's not until Ashlyn yells at the group that it clicked for Aiden how far he was pushing her boundaries. I'm going out on a limb and assuming he didn't really have this happen with other friends he did this to, so it's a first for him. He throws himself off the wall again as an impulsive act. Aiden clearly does not care for his own life, but he cares for the group, and more specifically in this discussion, Ashlyn. The first time we see him not smile, it's when Ashlyn gets grabbed.

(Episode 33)

It's at this moment it seems to really click for him how much he cares about her, and practically scrambles despite his injury to get to her. (I'd like to add episode 37 after she's rescued and the group gets back to the Graveyard, Ashlyn realizes as well how she cares about the group. I'll do an analysis on her next.)

Episode 39, we see Aiden doesn't know how to handle this. He had a moment of complete vulnerability with her after catching her, so he sorta shuts down until Tyler finally gets made at them both and snaps at them to figure it out.

Aiden starts off with a joke, coping like he normally does in a way but also asking if she's okay. Ashlyn tries to leave to avoid the conversation and Aiden's first reaction is almost fear. He touches her in the most gentle way we've seen besides the hug and actually apologizes. He even explains he's confused, talking about the boundary thing. Again, going out on a limb that nobody properly set boundaries so he learned to push past them rapidly to make friends. He explains almost everything.

He literally states he's had no meaningful relationships, everything was to pass the time.

Aiden hasn't been told hard boundaries, but he also knows he pushes them. He just doesn't know which boundaries he's pushing, which confuses him. From here on too, we see him actually make an effort to respect Ashlyn's boundaries because she put her foot down and gives him that harsh truth people didn't seem to frequently do since no relationships were meaningful.

TLDR: Aiden was both aware he was pushing her boundaries but didn't understand which half the time, he's also incredibly impulsive/grabby which results in him stepping over boundaries again and again until Ashlyn expresses direct anger and discomfort. From here, he begins to respect and tries not to push so hard.

Confession time!: I lowkey hated Aiden for the longest time in the beginning. I think this might just be me but I found it really rude/annoying how he kept pushing Ashlyn's boundaries even when she had expressed displeasure in having to be around him in the beginning.

Either he's bad at picking up on things, or he didn't care about people's wishes
