    Fear was what drew the brunette further into the park, one might consider it a careless behavior, but it wasn’t on her nature to simply walk away when her help might be needed. Each step she took cracked in echoes of dry leafs being shattered, through the winter should already been long gone almost covering the faint sound of a meow apparently too far from where she stood. Tilting her head back, her chocolate eyes gazed the small frame of a young kitten, probably a way too young to be able to climb that high.

    Yoonji sighed heavily, delicate hand pressed against her chest as she wondered how she could help the poor darling down, a scared animal was almost as heartbreaking than a scared person, specially one so young. As the sound of steps echoed through the park, the empath shifted her body around to glance the path she had once traversed to glance the stranger. “Could you please help me out here? I can’t really reach the kitten and I’m sure he is a way too scared to get down on his own.”

"Please! Just take a step back."

                     The male held his hands out in front of him as a sort of mental shield; obviously, if the girl could really do him harm, they wouldn't protect him for very long.  Stepping back obediently, he posed the question again: “Why are youー w-what are you s-saying?“

"I'm going to just... leave then."

he glanced up from his book at the stranger, brows knit. was she talking to him? he had been so consumed with the story that he hadn't heard anything until then. he blinked up at her. "y-you don't have to leave," he said cautiously, quietly, in case he wasn't the one she was talking to.

"Hi there~" she waved to the male, approaching him shyly with a small smile on her face. "You wouldn't happen to be busy, would you?"

"Oh, no. Not at all. I'm actually quite lonely right now.." He trailed off but immediately grinned back, a way to reassure her it's fine. "Hello, my name is Sungjong. Nice to meet you."

"Stay back! I don’t want to hurt you."

               “W-What? H-How would youー“ His face fell in bewilderment, eyebrows knit together.  He couldn’t be sure whether or not some cruel joke was being played on him, or if he really should be afraid.
