born april 20th, 1997  — aries-taurus cusp y’all

goes by nel & nelly, but mostly nelly. does not like when ppl call her eleanor bcs only her mom rlly calls her that and she thinks it sounds like an old lady name

she comes from a middle-class family residing in santa barbara, california

her mom is a travel nurse, the family’s main source of income, and the enforcer parent, while her father is a school teacher, the more understanding parent, and the pushover

throughout her youth, nelly attended an all girls catholic private school and her mother was always adamant about her having proper manners and etiquette

but ofc she always went against this whenever she could and naturally carries herself in a very relaxed manner (think sitting w/ her legs wide open, slouching back in her chair, propping her feet on top of any nearby surface)

growing up, she was most influenced by her two aunts (aka tommy’s moms) and always wanted to be more like them opposed to her mother

she actually grew up with her cousin basically being like her brother and was even born because of him. it just took one look at a newborn tommy for her parents to be like “ok we’re having one”

aside from nelly’s lack of poise and grace, what seems to irk her mother the most is her lack of motivation and drive

having no particular hobbies outside of surfing and skating, nelly struggled to find a subject she was passionate enough about to make into a career (she was undeclared in college for the two years she was there)

as she matured, however, she did seem to become very set in one thing: pleasure —  which she tended to find through partying, drinking, drugs, and anything that causes an adrenaline rush or alters her perception/mood

eventually, this got to a point where she would only focus on that, neglecting school, and consequently getting kicked out of college

but this didn’t faze her since she figured her mom would never be pleased with anything she did anyway, so it pretty much lead her to where she is now

she’s mostly on the trip to figure herself out and knows she really doesn’t contribute much to the group, but she thinks it’ll be a great bonding experience for all of them

she actually has so much love for her friends but doesn’t readily admit it lol

personality

traits i put down for her app when i was first using her were introspective and decisive, yet disobedient and hedonistic

but not introspective in the sense that she’s shy, she’s just tries (emphasis on tries) to be very self-aware and conscious of what she does, especially when it comes to her emotions, which she ofc hides v well

she’s pretty sociable, generally friendly and will approach just about anyone, but she also can come off a bit strong bcs she’s pretty direct and assertive

very non-committal but once she’s set on something, she’s Loyal, she’s For It, she’s Unwavering in her decisions and feelings

some extra facts abt her:

she loves the feeling of floating, also feeling like she’s flying — which is why she loves surfing/skating so much

can’t drive

once got lost on public transportation and said “never again”

on drugs like half the time honestly,,, she’s usually on weed, but hallucinogens are her second go-to (esp psychedelics and dissociatives)

she’s p conscious of her drug usage tho?? like she strays away from heroin, cocaine, and nicotine bcs she’s not trying to be like,,, scarily dependent on drugs to the point where she can’t function w/o them

she’s deff tried a lot of stuff at least once tho bcs #OneTimeForTheOneTime

i made a pinterest board for her here (and wow i forgot she has a knife collection lmaO. BUT it’s smth she j came across, like she didn’t buy them, they were kinda just given to her and she was like [shrug] ok kinda sus but they’ll be useful ig)
