Soft Chouji x Alpha!Reader
“Don't eat that, Chona,” Chouji struggled to bend down to take the grass out of your daughter's hand. Despite giving birth to the twins a year before, Chouji was struggling with diastasis recti. His abdominal muscles being separated and overstretched during the pregnancy, along with his rough birth, made recovering difficult.
“Careful,” you rushed to his side to keep him steady as he stood up.
“Sorry,” Chouji sighed.
“You have nothing to be sorry for. We should be getting back before the twins ruin their dinner with grass and dirt.” You gave his hand a gentle squeeze and scooped the twins into your arms with a squeal from both girls. You walked home slowly, not wanting Chouji to strain himself. The four of you stopped by your home to wash the girls up and grab the girls’ overnight bags. It would be the first time they would stay at their grandparent's house. Chouji’s parents were so excited to have the girls but you knew Chouji was nervous. It was going to be his first heat since having the girls. He had been cleared for sex months ago, you had been at that appointment with him, though he had been avoiding the subject since.
“Are you sure you have both the girls and their bags?” Chouji asked. “I could carry something.”
“I got it,” You assured him. The walk to his parent's house was short and Choza greeted the four of you at the door. You got the girls’ shoes off and they ran off to play with the toys their grandparents kept at the house.
“I’m sure the two of you are excited for your first heat alone since the twins were born.” Choza winked at the two of you.
“We’re just ready to be able to sleep past sunrise. Those girls are up with the sun every day.” You squeezed Chouji’s shoulder as he tensed up. You could hear the girls squealing in delight and had a feeling your mother-in-law was sneaking them candy. You decided to steer the conversation away from Chouji’s heat right away, “Let's go see what those two got into now.”
“Ya,” Chouji gave you a small smile. The three of you went to the kitchen to see Chouji’s mother was in fact giving them candy, “Mom, you’re going to ruin their dinner.”
“They are Akimichi. They’ll still have plenty of appetite for dinner.” she chuckled. “Alright to the table with all of you, I’ll finish bringing out the food.”
You helped Chouji to the ground and wrangled the girls into your and Chouji’s lap. Chouji’s mother had made a huge spread, way more than needed, as you couldn't eat an Akimichi portion and Chouji was just picking at his food. You were preoccupied with trying to figure out if it was just nerves from leaving the girls for a few days or something else.
Once dinner was over, Chouji and you showered the girls with kisses and hugs before leaving. Chouji and you were more upset than the girls, though you knew they would get upset later when they realized you were gone. You tried not to be too worried for the girls and focus on Chouji. The two of you got home and started getting ready.
“I’m going to get our food ready, you go wash up,” you said and kissed his forehead. Chouji nodded and went to the bathroom. You prepped some easy meals and got all the snacks into a bucket to keep in your room. Chouji was dressed and in bed when you came in. You set the box of snacks down and laid in bed with Chouji. “Hey, are you okay? Is your stomach still giving you pain?”
“I’m fine,” chouji shrugged and rolled on his side away from you. “I don’t was to talk about it.”
“Chouji…” You sighed and leaned over him pushing his hair out of his face, “You're about to start your heat. We have to talk about this now. What's wrong?”
“Nothings wrong…” Chouji mumbled. You sighed and stroked his cheek. You took a few minutes to think about your next move.
“Is it about your stomach? The doctor said that you wont hurt it and you’ll have your surgery to help fix it next month.” you sighed.
“You’ll think I’m ugly.” chouji wouldnt look at you.
“Chouji,” you sighed, “You are the handsonest omega ever. Youre stomach issue isnt going to changed that. You had twins, these things too happened. I love you forever.”
“I’m a Akimichi. Expansion is our signature.” Chouji wiped tears from his face.
“Thats not the same, Chouji.” You kissed his forehead. “Sweet pea, youre still the most beautiful omega I’ve ever seen.”
“You promise.” he cuddled into your side.
“I promise I’ll love you forever.” You held him close. “I like how soft you are. It makes for the best cuddles.”

Guess who finally has big enough abs and little enough fat to properly check for diastasis recti?! Me! And I have it. And with as much PT as I do, that means I'd need surgery. And I could lose another inch off my waist just by sewing my abs back together... and maybe they'd just give me a tummy tuck and fix the whole area?
This is what the condition looks like not me btw, your abs just ripped open down the middle and mine is this variation of widest split at my navel. Kinda creepy to think about. Kinda explains some of my chronic pain. Not mad at doctors, how could they have seen it when I really had very very thin muscle and a shit ton of fat?

This!!!! I wanted to have babies and would have done it even if I had been told all the risks/stuff involved, but would have liked to have known! I had horrible pubic symphysis dysfunction both times (unfortunately PT did nothing to help) and my first baby actually DISLOCATED three of my ribs in utero—something that no doctor bothered to look into despite my complaints of constant pain for two years (I finally saw a perinatal chiropractor who snapped them back into my spine and I felt IMMEDIATELY better). But my pelvis has never felt normal again, nor have my ribs fully, despite exercises and PT, etc, and I don’t know if they ever will.
I didn’t know how common pregnancy complications were, or how dangerous. I got preeclampsia postpartum after my first and almost died. Doctors kept saying I was just having “weird pregnancy stuff” … until I spent several days in the ICU with heart failure. And now I’m twice as likely to die from cardiovascular disease than I was before I got pregnant.
I didn’t know how common miscarriages were until I had one, and the taboo around taking about it made me feel so isolated and alone, and the grief took a huge toll on my relationship.
I have a massive diastasis recti (split in my abdominal muscles) that won’t heal, again despite exercises and PT, and may require surgery to fix, because my organs are sliding through the abdominal wall and it could cause issues with prolapse and back instability and pain. And diastasis happens in 50% of pregnancies! Did not know!
And these are all outside of the more “standard” pregnancy effects like morning sickness, or after effects like stretch marks, sagginess, wider hips/ribs. My body will never be the same, and while I would choose it again and my kids are the best things to happen to me, I hate that I had no idea that any of this would happen to me. I think that people have a right to know what all pregnancy and childbirth will entail before signing on.
the thing is like. i get that it's scary and makes people who do desire to get pregnant uncomfortable when we talk about the brutality and violence of pregnancy and the damage that pregnancy can do to your body
but you deserve to give informed consent to that process.
the lies around pregnancy - that it's inherently safe, that it doesn't do you permanent damage, that it's only extremely rare for people to die of pregnancy complications, etc like
all of these are lies constructed so that more people will get pregnant w/o knowing all that
there needs to be more talk about the impact of miscarriages and how common they are, how different abortion processes are and how accessible they are
but also like. talking about how pregnancy fucks your body up should not be taboo
this is a process that permanently changes most people's bodies, and that's even if the pregnancy doesn't do them like. severe illness or injury
and i just think everybody should have a right to KNOW that
bc to live in a society that intentionally obscures and hides facts about a completely optional and dangerous process does so for a reason, and that reason is based in a very sinister ideology that does not value bodily autonomy or informed consent

Why Every New Mom Should Try Online Postnatal Yoga Classes
Introduction:
The postpartum period is a transformative time for new mothers, filled with both joy and challenges. As you navigate this new chapter of your life, it’s crucial to prioritize your well-being, both physically and mentally. One of the best ways to support your recovery and overall health during this time is through postnatal yoga. With the convenience and flexibility of online yoga classes, every new mom can easily incorporate this beneficial practice into their routine. In this blog, we'll explore why every new mom should try online postnatal yoga classes and how they can make a significant difference in your postpartum journey.
1. Convenience and Flexibility
Practice Anywhere, Anytime
One of the primary advantages of online yoga classes is the flexibility they offer. As a new mom, your schedule can be unpredictable, with feeding times, naps, and other baby-related activities taking up much of your day. Online postnatal yoga classes allow you to practice whenever it’s most convenient for you. Whether it’s early in the morning before your baby wakes up or late at night after they’ve gone to bed, you can fit yoga into your day without having to leave your home.
No Commute Required
Eliminating the need to commute to a yoga studio is a significant time-saver. This extra time can be precious, allowing you to spend more moments with your baby or catch up on rest. Practicing at home also means you can avoid the hassle of packing a bag, arranging childcare, and coordinating your schedule around fixed class times.
2. Tailored to Postpartum Needs
Specialized Postnatal Programs
Online postnatal yoga classes are specifically designed to address the unique needs of new mothers. These classes focus on gentle exercises that help restore strength and flexibility, particularly in areas affected by pregnancy and childbirth, such as the core, pelvic floor, and lower back. Instructors trained in postnatal yoga understand the physical and emotional challenges of the postpartum period and can offer modifications and guidance to ensure a safe and effective practice.
Gradual Progression
Postnatal yoga classes often emphasize a gradual approach to rebuilding strength and fitness. This is crucial for avoiding injury and ensuring that your body heals properly. Online classes can provide a range of levels, allowing you to start gently and increase the intensity as your body recovers and becomes stronger.
3. Physical Recovery and Strengthening
Core and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
Pregnancy and childbirth can weaken the core and pelvic floor muscles, leading to issues such as diastasis recti and incontinence. Postnatal yoga exercises specifically target these areas to help restore muscle tone and function. Strengthening these muscles can improve your overall stability and support, reducing the risk of back pain and other postpartum discomforts.
Enhanced Flexibility and Mobility
Gentle stretching and movement in postnatal yoga can help improve flexibility and mobility, which can be particularly beneficial after the physical demands of pregnancy. This increased flexibility can ease muscle tension and promote better posture, which is often compromised during the early months of motherhood due to activities like breastfeeding and carrying your baby.
4. Mental and Emotional Well-Being
Stress Relief and Relaxation
The transition to motherhood can be stressful, with new responsibilities and sleep deprivation taking a toll on your mental health. Online postnatal yoga classes incorporate breathing exercises, meditation, and relaxation techniques that can help reduce stress and promote a sense of calm. Taking time to focus on your breath and quiet your mind can provide much-needed mental clarity and emotional balance.
Combating Postpartum Depression
Studies have shown that physical activity, including yoga, can help alleviate symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety. The combination of movement, mindfulness, and community support found in online yoga classes can be a powerful tool in managing postpartum mood disorders. Engaging in regular yoga practice can boost your mood, increase energy levels, and foster a positive outlook.
5. Bonding with Your Baby
Inclusive Baby-Friendly Practices
Many online postnatal yoga classes incorporate baby-friendly poses and activities, allowing you to include your baby in your practice. These classes often feature gentle movements and interactive exercises that can strengthen your bond with your baby while also providing physical benefits. Engaging with your baby during yoga can promote their development and create special moments of connection.
Teaching Mindfulness and Patience
Practicing yoga with your baby can also teach mindfulness and patience, valuable skills for motherhood. By being present and attentive during your yoga sessions, you can cultivate a sense of calm and patience that can carry over into your interactions with your baby and other aspects of your life.
6. Community and Support
Connecting with Other New Moms
Participating in online postnatal yoga classes can provide a sense of community and support, which is essential during the postpartum period. Many online platforms offer forums, social media groups, and live classes where you can connect with other new moms. Sharing experiences, challenges, and successes with others who understand what you’re going through can be incredibly reassuring and uplifting.
Access to Expert Guidance
Online yoga platforms often feature instructors with specialized training in postnatal care. These experts can offer valuable advice and support, helping you navigate your postpartum recovery safely and effectively. Having access to knowledgeable instructors ensures that you’re practicing yoga in a way that benefits your body and supports your healing process.
Conclusion
Online postnatal yoga classes offer a wealth of benefits for new moms, from physical recovery and mental well-being to convenience and community support. By incorporating yoga into your postpartum routine, you can enhance your overall health, bond with your baby, and navigate the challenges of motherhood with greater ease and resilience. The flexibility, accessibility, and specialized focus of online yoga classes make them an ideal choice for every new mom. A Mother’s Guide to Plastic Surgery for Postpartum Body Changes
Becoming a mother is a life-altering experience filled with happiness, love, and an overwhelming yet fulfilling sense of responsibility. However, it also changes a woman's body in ways she may find undesirable. From stretch marks to sagging skin, postpartum body changes can impact a mother's self-esteem and emotional well-being. These changes may leave women feeling self-conscious and unhappy with their appearance, which is why some moms consider plastic surgery to regain their pre-baby bodies.
This writing explores the anatomy of motherhood and the psychology of mommy makeovers, delving deep into the following topics:
How pregnancy and childbirth change a woman's body
How postpartum bodies affect mothers emotionally
Why moms turn to plastic surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona
Effective, life-enhancing cosmetic surgery options for moms
Let’s get started.
Physical and Emotional Effects of the Postpartum Period
A mom's life can be rewarding, but it's also more difficult than most single people realize. According to a 2011 study published in the Journal of Women's Health, moms of 1 in 10 children suffer from maternal depression – a major health concern in the United States.
Deeper psychological issues aside, common factors that affect women's mental health and drive them to choose plastic surgery after childbirth include:
Physical impacts:
Excess skin and fat around the abdomen
Separation of abdominal muscles (diastasis recti)
Sagging or drooping breasts (ptosis)
Stretch marks and scarring
Vaginal changes
While some women embrace and celebrate their postpartum bodies, others may struggle with these changes. Getting plastic surgery is one way for women to address specific areas of concern and regain a sense of confidence and self-assurance. It's crucial to note, however, that undergoing surgery is not a "quick fix" or solution to deeper emotional issues. All mothers should consider their motivations and consult qualified plastic surgeons like Dr. Aldo Guerra and Dr. Scott Ogley before deciding on any procedure.
Emotional impacts:
Low self-esteem or reduced confidence
Difficulty accepting changes to body image
Struggles with body positivity and self-love
Negative effects on intimate relationships
Feeling less attractive or feminine
Plastic Surgery Options for Moms with Postpartum Body Concerns
The following mommy makeover procedures can help address the physical and emotional impacts of postpartum body changes:
1. Tummy Tuck in Scottsdale, AZ
A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty addresses loose skin, excess pockets of fat, and weakened muscles in the midsection. Women who experienced pregnancy and childbirth are among the primary candidates for a tummy tuck, as becoming a mother or having multiple pregnancies can make it difficult to tone the midsection without surgical intervention.
Procedure
During a tummy tuck, a surgeon makes an incision in the lower abdomen, typically from hip to hip, before removing loose skin and stubborn fat pockets. The plastic surgeon proceeds with tightening or repairing separated and weakened abdominal muscles – a condition referred to as diastasis recti. Pulling the remaining skin taut follows thereafter, and the use of surgical sutures will close the incision.
Recovery
Complete recovery from a tummy tuck can take between three to six months. Patients usually experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort during the initial recovery period, which may take around seven to ten days. To prevent infections and ensure successful results, it's vital to follow all postoperative care instructions, including taking pain medications and avoiding strenuous activities for up to six weeks.
Results
The results of a tummy tuck include a flatter, smoother abdomen and improved waistline contour, making it a highly desirable procedure among moms whose abdominal areas cannot "snap back" to their pre-pregnancy forms with diet and exercise.
2. Breast Augmentation with Lift in Scottsdale, AZ
Breast augmentation with a breast lift, also known as augmentation-mastopexy, combines two of the most popular cosmetic surgical procedures. Surgeons perform it on women with significant changes to their breasts due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, or aging.
Procedure
The breast augmentation aspect of a mommy makeover involves inserting breast implants to enhance the size, shape, and overall look of the breasts. Meanwhile, a breast lift entails removing excess skin and reshaping the breast tissue to achieve a more youthful and lifted appearance.
The procedure begins with a surgeon making an incision in the breast area. Incision placement will depend on multiple factors, including the patient's preference, size and type of implants, and the amount of skin requiring removal. After making an incision, the surgeon will insert the breast implants and adjust their position to deliver the desired size and shape. Next, the surgeon will lift and reshape the breast tissue to create a more perky appearance, before finally closing the incisions with sutures.
Recovery
Initial recovery from augmentation-mastopexy can take up to 14 days, and patients may experience temporary side effects such as swelling, bruising, pain, and discomfort during this time. Patients will need to wear a supportive garment or compression bra to expedite the healing process and reduce swelling.
Results
The results of a breast augmentation with lift can vary depending on the patient's specific goals, the extent of the procedure, and the surgeon's techniques. In general, all patients can expect the following results:
Improved breast size and shape
Lifted and more youthful appearance
Corrected breast asymmetry
Increased confidence

3. High-Definition Liposuction in Scottsdale, AZ Procedure
High-definition liposuction is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses ultrasound technology to break up and remove fat cells from problem areas, particularly in the abdomen, arms, thighs, and buttocks.
During surgery, a liposuction specialist makes small incisions in the targeted area and injects a solution of saline, local anesthesia, and adrenaline to numb the site and constrict blood vessels. This solution also helps break up fat cells and makes them easier to remove. The surgeon then inserts a small probe that emits ultrasound energy to selectively target fat cells while leaving other tissues, such as blood vessels and nerves, untouched. The use of a thin cannula then suctions the broken-down fat.
Recovery
Patients may experience post-op swelling, bruising, and discomfort, but recovery with HD lipo is quicker (about seven to ten days) than traditional liposuction due to the procedure's less invasive nature.
Results
The results of high-definition liposuction include improved definition and contour in the treated areas.
4. Vaginal Rejuvenation in Scottsdale, AZ
Also known as vaginoplasty or female genital plastic surgery, this cosmetic surgical procedure aims to improve the appearance and function of the vagina. Women with stretched or loose vaginal canals and enlarged vaginal lips due to childbirth, aging, or other factors are the ideal candidates for this procedure.
Vaginal rejuvenation can have several benefits, including improved sexual function and satisfaction, increased self-confidence, and relief from physical discomfort or pain.
Takeaway
For some mothers, plastic surgery can be a way to feel more confident and comfortable in their skin. In this era of body positivity and self-love, it's important to acknowledge that everyone has the right to feel good about themselves. If plastic surgery can help achieve that, then it may be a valid option.
Get a Mommy Makeover in Scottsdale, AZ
Plastic surgery is a personal choice, and not all moms will choose to undergo these procedures. Moreover, while plastic surgery improves appearances, it is not a substitute for healthy lifestyle choices such as proper diet and regular exercise. Moms should talk to a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss their goals and expectations, as well as the potential risks and benefits of each procedure. Schedule a consultation today to ensure you make a well-informed decision.

Hello everyone! I said that if I got chance to take a few pictures today, I post more later on, so here you go! I will tell you that this girl's feet are tired and sore at this point! After trying to break in another pair of red heels, I switch to these late in the afternoon because they needed a little more work before I can wear them on an extended basis, or so I thought. By the time I got home I thought my feet were going to be bloody stumps. Luckily, no blisters, but I definitely have some pain right now in the balls of my feet. I think despair in the pictures will need a little more work than what I thought. Something that I want to point out, and it's not that I'm trying to purposely draw negative attention to myself, but if you look at the last picture, which I took out in the grocery store this afternoon you will get a good look at something called diastasis recti. It is a separation of the stomach muscles, which allows a bulge to form. It's not a hernia in the typical sense of the word, but it does look very much like one. I've already had a surgeon look at it and that was his conclusion. Unfortunately, it's considered a cosmetic surgery, so I'm on my own as far as paying for it if I want to get it fixed, and I have a few more surgeries that I think are a little higher priority than that. Anyway, I hope you all had a great day and have a great Thursday if I don't get to wish you that tomorrow morning! Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone!
