trying to think of supernatural x watership down parallels.... fiver is sam obviously so my next guess would be hazel as dean but that doesnt really fit... maybe jack is strawberry? that could be kind of cool idk about cas. i want a bigwig and a dandelion bc i love them but i cant thing of many spn like that.

Heads turned to the chief and his guard, Hazel held back the buff looking rabbit with a fuzzy head of hair and Fivers ears fell back a little more, hoping that he hadn't offended the Lord much more than he already was.

"Sir, I am the chief of this village," Hazel stepped forward, placing a hand on Fiver's shoulder. "We have no metal, we do not live in poverty, we live off the land... Perhaps we could offer you food or rest rather than the metal you desire?"

Fiver glanced up, small and meek in comparison to the rest of the rabbits there, his eyes mismatched and eyes seeming to glint with an unspoken 'knowing', but it was quickly ripped away when the rabbit tore his gaze away, staring at the floor instead.

Just a quick post to mention that the end of this story now has cute art added in! My friend @mrnerdling made it after I corrupted them with the enticement of soft vibes from gay rabbits.

It was an unfair advantage stacked in my favor, naturally.

Anyway, go look, it’s cute! The artwork is based on their 90s cartoon tv series run, so that makes it extra adorable!

Watership Down BBC remake cast

The announcement coincides with the release of first-look images for the series, featuring Hazel (voiced by James McAvoy), alongside Fiver (Nicholas Hoult), Bigwig (John Boyega), Clover (Gemma Arterton) and Strawberry (Olivia Colman) among others.

Further star names have also been confirmed to join the previously announced Watership Down cast. Academy award-nominated actors Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Black Panther) and Rosamund Pike (A Private War, Gone Girl) will play Bluebell and The Black Rabbit Of Inlé respectively, with Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, The Thick Of It) announced to join the cast as the seagull Kehaar.

Taron Egerton (Kingsman, Rocketman) has joined the cast as El-Ahrairah, with Mackenzie Crook (Britannia, Detectorists) as Hawkbit, Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Humans) as Dewdrop, Jason Watkins (A Very English Scandal, The Crown) as Captain Orchis, Rory Kinnear (Peterloo, Skyfall) as Cowslip, Craig Parkinson (Line Of Duty, Indian Summers) as Sainfoin, Henry Goodman (Genius, Snatch) as Blackavar, Tom Wilkinson (The Happy Prince, Selma) as Threarah, Lee Ingleby (The A Word, Innocent) as Captain Campion, Charlotte Spencer (Line Of Duty, Glue) as Nettle, and Daniel Rigby (Flowers, Sick Note) as Dandelion.

Well, I never came up with anything for my birthday on my own. A friend of mine suggested that I send them a pairing that I liked each day.

Some self-imposed challenges that I included for myself:
