Yesterday and lately, I've been watching some episodes of "Canimals" (One of My Other Biggest Obscure Nostalgic Shows from my 2010s Childhood) as it's surprisingly recently blossomed into a Comfort Show that helps Me Relief my own Stress.

For those who don't know, it's a Show about these Small Animal Hybrids who are Half Can Half Animal as they go through some mischief while No Human is Around (They're Technically an Closer Akin to Pixies, being that they're Childlike and Mischievous). Basically, these Adorable Critters are South Korea's Equivalent to Japan's Sanrio Characters.

Just like on how that Season 2 of Space Goofs was My Very First Exposure to One of My All-Time Favorite French Cartoons, Season 1 of Canimals was my Very First Exposure to this Show back in the Early Days when Streaming was just Young (way long before its recent Downhill). I've already looked into Season 2 but Season 3 from what I've heard seems to be in Development Hell (That or the Third Season is just randomly pulling out a "Fall Guys" inspired show).

I felt like I wanted to draw Me and My Friend's Xilam OCs (My Eight Space Goofs OCs and @luci-the-stan-18's Three OatC Fankids) as Canimals since of course Some of My Friends and I grew up on that Show.

(Yeah, I know that Cleo & Fergus look way too much like Mimi & Uly but Same Breed, Different Looks of Style I guess).

Story: 4 out of 5 Smut: 2.5 out of 5

I’ve missed sports romance and Elle Kennedy so much. As soon as I started reading, I couldn’t stop. Even when a certain trope I don’t like popped up (love triangle), I still continued to read.

Summer and Fitzy were so perfect for each other, but it took them forever to realize it. Well, to be fair, they realized it a lot sooner but Fitzy couldn’t explain his feelings and Summer had that thing with Hunter, and yeah… it was a mess.

While the story was fun and entertaining as hell, I still felt it ended rather abruptly. I know there isn’t a book of novellas that kinds of ties up everyone’s story like the Off-Campus series, so I’m hoping to see more Summer and Fitzy in the other books.

* Fitzy is a tattooed, hockey playing nerd… I love him already. (I forgot everything from the Off-Campus series, sshhhhh 🤫)

* Oh man, Summer and Fitzy finally having it out tugged at the heartstrings. I just wanted these two together so bad.

* And this is why I don’t like Hunter. He can happily kiss another girl during Spin the Bottle, but god forbid Summer kiss a dude that isn’t him. Fuck this guy.

* Ohhhh, they’re friendly-ish now. He’s gonna help her study and she’s gonna let him sketch her for his game!

* Ugghhh. I hate that Hunter is into Summer and now wants to ask her out. He’s gonna ruin the whole dynamic when she says no and realizes she’s into Fitzy.

* Summer, nooooo.

* I don’t like this love triangle bullshit. I hope Hunter does something horrendous, like cheat, for Summer to break things off with him. Then again, she’s not wrong about Fitzy not being clear about what he wants.

* Goddamn, Summer. You really blew Fitzy in the locker room when you still have a date with him teammate?! Not cool.

* And Fitzy, you dick. I can’t believe you bailed on that talk.

* I fucking hate this assistant Dean or whatever he is. Summer told you a professor made her uncomfortable and you blame her!? Fuck you. I hope you get fired.

* Fuckkk. She went on the date with Hunter, only to basically tell him she wants Fitzy. A sense a fight coming 👀

* Hunter’s handling this like a pussy.
