Yes! I got my own copy professionally printed and framed from an online art company (the name is escaping me right now but if you're really interested I can dig it up) but if you want to print your own copy, Google 'spiral galaxy Messier 74'. The particular print Fitz had in his room should be the first result, off NASA's website. Good luck!

I've noticed a severe lack of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. merch, so to fulfill my own AoS merch desires, I've been designing some of my own for my brand. I know some of you got the Astro Ambassadors T-shirt (many thanks to you all!), so I wanted to share that there are more AoS-inspired designs coming!

I still can’t really comprehend that the show is ending and same as fitzsimmons’ story. Recently I’m just falling asleep with tears. Please tell me the fandom will continue with love...*sobbing*

Hi Anon,

Its a very weird feeling when a show and a fandom you have been a part of for so long has what its based on come to an end.  I can say as an older fan who has seen many a show end their runs that yes, the fandom does go on.   I think the closest thing I can compare it too is graduating.  Like things ended but our groups still stayed in contact and did things together.  

Even years later I can still revisit those old fandoms for new fics, art, and other amazing content.  The friends I’ve made on here I hope have no intention of leaving my life anytime soon.  And its truly been an honor being the “Fandom Mom” even if I stumbled on it by accident.  I still get to see merch at cons and see the cast at new events or even on new projects.  

In the immediate days that follow most of the fan fic falls into well screw that ending I’m fixing it and I LOVED that ending let me expand upon it.   The Fandom events tend to continue for a bit.  

I’ll be here, always ready to take on an ask or write a meta, even if my theorizing and clam down posts aren’t needed anymore.  My kids still want to take their vacations to cons and have me make their Cosplays or a Disney Bound....there is talk of a Mulan May look for March.

Its the end of an era her that’s for sure so lets enjoy it!   With it being the series finale we can look forward to a week of interviews and goodbyes and happy/sad tears all around.

So, I was scrolling through Hot Topic’s website last night looking for something completely different, and happened to find by accident - brace yourselves - an actual Agents of SHIELD shirt. Fitzsimmons Through The Years

This was a really fun project to do! I wanted to do one drawing of Fitz and Jemma per seasonm in outfits and poses that tried to capture the vibe between them for the season as a whole. When season 7 airs next year, I plan on adding one for it to this poster as well. So why doesn't ABC promote AOS like... at all? Other shows like Supergirl and The Flash... you see their merch and trailers and posters and billboards all over the place! AOS is struggling because they don't get enough views or ratings... but how can they get those things if they don't promote the show? It's a paradox!

This is a rant I have had more times than I can count.  And honestly, I don’t know.  Me and my marketing degree (and my honorary degree in TV I’ve earned over the years of doing this) here are very confused by how they do the marketing.

Every network is different in how they market their shows because they all have different audiences, shows, advertisers, and budgets.   The CW targets a completely different demographic of viewer than ABC does.  For CW the Arrowverse is their bread and butter right now (with Riverdale).  It’s making them a lot of money.   And as such, they are putting a lot of their marketing eggs in that particular basket.  The CW also has a different threshold of what they consider “good ratings”.

Yes, one of the issues that AOS has had was its live viewing numbers, they suck.  And since the networks put so much stock into those arcane numbers it's frustrating to see them not do anything to help those numbers improve.  I watch ABC a few nights a week and would never ever see promos or teasers for AOS.  Greys, How to Get Away with Murder, New Shows, Dancing with the Stars, Bachelor, Designated Survivor, Shark Tank, The comedies, heck even the on its way out Once Upon a Time all got more exposure on ABC than AOS did.

Its always seemed to me that ABC wasn’t interested in getting new viewers for AOS.  Our fanbase is loyal as all get out.  We followed them from Death Slot to Death Sloth with steady numbers, killer DVR Playback, and a strong international and streaming views.  #smallbutactivefanbase

I do need to give it to them that they have sent AOS to cons every year.  We’ve had NYCC, SDCC, and Wondercon.  That isn’t cheap.  Getting the cast there, putting them up in hotels, promotional materials, the logistics involved. All of that costs money.   And that could come out of their overall advertising budget.  But at the same time cons don’t really get them that many new fans, current fans go to see them and support them.  

I’m also not sure how much ABC is 100% to blame all promo related frustration.   The promo team needs to do a better job of getting things like the Promo Pics out more than two weeks out.  Help gets fans excited.

I thought they did a marvelous job going into the finale with the Fitzsimmons Family stuff....that wound up being in a deleted scene....

The final bit of this puzzle is AOS not liking spoilers getting out.  The current Lockdown on set.  NOTHING is coming out (I thought the Framework filming was bad but this is so so so much worse).  Things have to be approved before anyone can post anything on social media to make sure there are no spoilers. My opinion is this is going to backfire on them.  Little spoilers and fun videos from the set are what helps keeps fans engaged and interested as hiatus drags on.  

The good news is they’ve got lots of time once the return is set to promote the living daylights out of the show.  They can run teasers during finale season, kick off the ‘come back’ at WonderCon, and get promo pics and guest star announcements up well in advance.  

We really aren’t a hard fandom to please.  A single picture can do wonders for excitement and speculation.  But its still going to be a bit unless its someone from the show gives something because at this time the premiere is so far out there is no reason for ABC to be promoting them right now.

I’ll also say if anyone is in the mood for a long shot option try sending questions into EW or TV Line for their weekly spoiler scoops to see if they give a tease.

It always bugs me how little AoS merch marvel has like why is there not funko pops for all the team, SHIELD tshirts, mugs etc. Quake costumes for kids like they have for all the movie characters? They could be selling loads and making more money 😩

I wish there were more too.  I know my kiddos (heck I would) love to have some action figures for AOS.  

Funko does make Coulson (with Lola), May, and Daisy.

And I got my Fitzsimmons ones off of Etsy.

Lil and Chloe both have put out special edition shirts for fundraising  in Smile for Science and Fight like a girl.  Though I couldn’t tell you how much my child would flip out if she could have an official Daisy or Jemma shirt to add to her collection.  

The best way is to fill out suggestion forms on the companies that make the products sites. ��For those of you visiting the Disney Parks they sometimes have Shield themed merchandise, though its not specific AOS, at least its something.
