The Chess Match.
—————————————————————————
Gitae kim x R.femele. ( Brat )
—————————————————————————
It was a quiet afternoon at Gitae Kim's house. The soft light of the sun filtered through the window, illuminating the room while Gitae was sitting in front of a chess table, with the serious expression of someone who is focused on something important. His wife, on the other hand, seemed to be in another world, sitting lazily on the couch, playing with her cell phone, almost forgetting that she was there to play.
- Hey, are you going to play or not? - Gitae asked, looking at her with a defiant smile.
She looked up slowly, pouting, as if she were offended.
- Oh, okay... - She got up and sat next to him, but before making any movement, she put a hairpin on him, as if it were a form of distraction. - That's it! Now you'll see.
Gitae gave a crooked smile, touching the king's piece with her fingertips, preparing for the move.
- Are you prepared to lose? After all, you never beat me.
She crossed her arms and made a disdained face, trying to hide the fact that he always won. But she wasn't the type to give up easily.
- I'll win this time! - She said, with a childish and excited expression, taking her pawn piece and putting it forward.
Gitae laughed softly, but didn't say anything. He knew that, as much as she was spoiled and a brat, she had a unique way of thinking outside the box. However, he wouldn't let her win so easily.
The match started in a tense way, with her making completely unexpected movements, while he followed the usual strategies, always attentive to each move. But soon he realized that, although her actions seemed chaotic, she was actually creating a plan, and that made him frown. He forced himself to pay attention.
- I didn't think you were so good at it. - He said, moving a tower.
She smiled, proud of herself.
- I'm very good at everything, Gitae! Even in this boring old man game.
He made an expression of slight displeasure, but didn't say anything, he just moved the horse to a strategic place.
- I think it's time for you to prepare for defeat.
She laughed and made her movement, advancing her pieces as if she were really playing. Then, with a mischievous smile, she leaned forward, saying defiantly:
- I got you!
Gitae looked at the board, realizing what she had done. He had fallen into his trap and, despite all his experience, had been defeated. He looked at her, gaping.
- How do you...? It's not possible! - He leaned back, trying to process what had just happened.
She started laughing, completely satisfied with the victory.
- I warned you! - She jumped with joy, clapping her hands. - Now you'll have to pamper me all day!
He was still in shock, not believing that his wife, so brat and spoiled, had won. She kept laughing and jumping around the room, while he just shook his head, unable to hide his smile.
- Okay, okay... you won. What do you want now, queen? - He said, raising his hands in surrender.
She threw herself on the couch, satisfied with her victory, and looked at him with a malicious smile.
- Hmm... I want a special dessert, made by you, with all the love and affection. And you'll keep me company while I watch my series.
Gitae sighed, but she was happy. Even though she was a naughty child, he knew that, deep down, he loved her more than anything else.
- It's going to be the sweetest dessert of all, then. - He said, getting up to fulfill his promise.
As he went to the kitchen, she leaned back on the sofa, with a satisfied smile, watching him. She had won, but for Gitae, seeing her so happy and full of life was worth anything.

reading the flowers in the attic series….. incest is a big part, but not even close to the worst horror that actually occurs in the books. It’s just a series of morally gray characters doing horrible things to each other. Only a few characters are genuinely innocent and blameless by the time they die/leave the narrative.

Paper flowers. Dresden Dolls. A wicker picnic basket. A swan bed. Grandmothers diamond brooch. The amaryllis plant. Yellow chrysanthemums. A perfect vintage dollhouse. Chrome scissors. Gray dresses with pockets. A semi-precious ring. A beloved guitar and banjo. Arsenic-laced doughnuts. An attic..
