First child, Jibbe van Wijk  of the Netherlands has been granted an official patent. 

I had created this class about inventions and biomimicry and due to the theme of IPC at the Visserschool in Amsterdam West the class emerged again. This time I wanted to connect the adult world to the children's and approached Los en Stigter for them to come and explain the world of patents. The idea was that the children understand that they and their ideas are taken seriously. Los en Stigter, offered to grant the best idea of 75 students an official patent. After carefully studying 75 ideas of three different classes groups 5, 5/6 and 6 they made a selection with their engineers and from that selection chose one.  Due to the corona safety rules the whole process had been through video call so the bureau wished to make the event tangible and offered a oorkonde 20-5-2021 in front of their office on the Weteringsgans in Amsterdam!
