In all seriousness, I had a mentally ugly April and so I want to thank the early May nuke that was Meet The Grahams blowing up my Twitter feed for getting me back on track. Sometimes you gotta pop out and hyperfixate on something really fucking different to get your brain back on track, which it did. The final draft of the next chapter is ready and waiting, and now I just need to get rid of all the goddamn rust and dust clogging up my arting gears.

I've done and posted multiple iterations of these designs through the years and they're buried in the archives but at some point I have to commit. That point is right now. I have to commit because these are going to be my visual guides for the next act of the story. Man, I hope I can pull this off. I want Din's look to be red for Aq Vetina and made up of scraps while he continues on his quest to rebuild himself. And I want Luke to have SOME color of some fucking kind and also I got tired of capes and thought the contrast to Din would be fun.

Grogu has some tweaks too but I need to stop dawdling and start thumbnailing for the chapter that is waitingwaitingwaiting for launch day so his little "design sheet" will come later. And once the chapter goes live, I'll spend the rest of the summer getting the pop-up shop up and running for pre-orders. Hopefully. Definitely. For sure.

im leaving japan in 4 days after being here for the past 2 years. unfortunately. moving out process has been Hell <3

good news is that i get to see my son (cat) again. bad news is i am probably gonna be stuck at home a lot because goodbye to my beloved walkable city and reliable public transit. I intend to go back to making videos to cope with being stuck in america again. and for Money. and because its something i enjoy doing

I’ve mentioned before how a very foundational to my tastes Sakurider BDSM doujin that pretty much set my tastes for the rest of my life turned out to be made by the mangaka of one of my favorite series Rei Hiroe

Well recently a friend of mine happened to send me an image they knew was to my tastes but didn’t have a source for, I knew it immediately though because it was a different piece of very foundational art and maybe one of the earliest bits of kink art I ever saw. It was a bit of doujin art of Revy in latex, leather, chastity and with some pony play gear. Blew my ass out of the water as a teenager and is still a favorite now

Said friend wants to know what it’s from and I know it well but don’t actually know the artist off hand. So I go digging, to find (with help from another friend) the original doujin it was bonus art in, a fairly vanilla set between Revy and Rock by an artist named azasuke that just had this bombshell of a picture in the back. We find out that it’s actually not by that artist though, it’s a bit of guest art from someone who was a friend of that artist

physical therapy has been so much different than I thought it would be… like the massages and exercises and cold compresses are great and all

but for me the real healing has just been in spending time with other people who have chronic pain. the patients and the therapists both have personal experience with it, and there’s just…… so much comfort and understanding in that room. I feel like it’s teaching me a new way to live.
